Regarding how models can be ported from the present FM format to the new one, there are always 2 possible solutions, separate FDMs or a single one encompassing all of the changes introduced with the new format of the FLIGHTMODEL.CFG and other conf files while still allowing "legacy" files to be parsed and integrated. I've only seen reference to one notorious update so far - the possibility to define many new objects that can be associated with aerodynamic effects such as lift / drag / thrust. I've been using the FSLTL & Injector for a few months and I think it's excellent. However, I've read that AIG's latest version is even better and the new OCI allows a full bulk download. I'm doing it as I write and it's taking a long time. Can the OCI bulk install be stopped and resumed on another day? It looks like it's taking an 1 hour for 100 flight plans. Occasionally, a while ago, and frequently now I cannot signin because Cloudfare loops, over a period of 10-seconds, on the Captcha Verify Human and then a message saying they are verifying my browser. This happen in Chrome (fully up to date with all extensions turned off) and Edge (fully updated and no extensions). I also have turned off all security. Hello, I'm basically new to the PMDG 777-300, I was wondering how to get the plane to steer. I have no pedals, I use thrustmaster joystick as my tiller. The rudder does move, but the nose gear does not. I have been watching many tutorials but haven't yet been able to find any relating to steering. Can someone help me on this, I will appreciated very much. Thanks

I thought at first my issue was just AFCBridge for the honeycomb throttle quadrant, it errors with AFCBridge Failed to Initialize SimConnectToTheLine Running it manually, after loaded, same error. Voltanta says cant connect to the sim, other apps also say this, a few do work though, strangely (maybe not using simconnect?) I have the latest fsuipc.. i've reinstalled (uninstalled/reinstalled msfs), started with the fresh localcache folder etc too. I am puzzled, please help. When ever I start FS2020 in the opening screen I get an Update for scenery of the United Kingdom and Ireland? I have checked in the Contents Manager and the scenery already appears in there as installed and Up To Date. Is this showing because I am missing this update or is it just advertising Logo ? please guide me. Berlopez

Hello, I'm experiencing a slight issue where upon pressing one of the buttons on the TM Airbus console or pressing one of the keys on the Xbox controller, I'm presented with: "Warning... Current graphics settings will be lost and reset to default values. Do you want to continue?" I can hit cancel so it's not a huge deal, but this has started in the last 48 hours. As far as I can see there is no key binding to this within MSFS, MobiFlight or SpadNext. Any ideas? Thanks, Mike

I have been flying MSFS since about day three after release. Recently an odd-ball thing happens every flight with every aircraft. As you will note on the enclosed screenshot, after fully loading on the runway my ability to change all is greyed out and will not work. Same if I try to start over. It works great if I have everything set but even a simple thing like changing the fuel or load, the wx anything you see what happens. I have tried grahics drivers, other system devices which may contribute. Nothing helps empty community folder, any MSFS setting which may contribute, Windows settings. It goes on and on. I am confused with FSiPanel. I have followed the instructions in the manual, and FSiPanel sets up the approach. However, it does not set my plane up on the glidepath with VOR/LOC and G/S engaged (this is for a direct ILS approach). It sets it up in ALTITUDE HOLD mode. What am I doing wrong?? Do I need to input the ILS frequency manually prior to configuring the approach? I had assumed that FSiPanel would do this for me. ATC is also contacting me, and I would prefer to disable this. EDIT: Amazing what you can miss when you are not going through each procedure prior to final approach. I need to press the APP button 🤦‍♂️

Don't get me wrong, but I'm done with MSFS Photogrammetry! I love the way it details most buildings, BUT, it creates weird shapes and pillars made of stone that certainly don't exist. I don't get real trees when it's on, like palm trees in Florida or anywhere else where they exist. I like to fly in Florida a lot! When I turn it off, all is "right with the world". All the appropriate trees show themselves and there are no "other worldly" shapes and stone pillars to be seen. Sorry to turn it off, because I love the details, but I like to use MSFS as a VFR sim mostly, and flying low and slow doesn't provide me with any satisfaction with Photogrammetry on! Stan

I went ahead and upgraded my pc this week, and i wasn’t really expecting the results i am seeing. My plan was to upgrade to a 4k monitor after i set everything up in my man cave/office, but I have a 2560 x 1440 gsync monitor, so i have been doing some testing. With my old 3080 i ran almost everything on ultra (thanks to the FG hack), and i thought everything looked pretty good. The only real difference i was expecting with the new build was being able to run higher frame rates, and possibly be a bit smoother. Something's off with the new EDDM that came with WU 18. It seems to be lacking in proper ATC, especially for the ground and for takeoff. All my AI bunches up at the runway and waits, and I can't seem to get correct ATC information when approaching the airport. Anyone else notice this, or is it just and odd glitch? Lee

Hello all, I used to be an avid simmer, but after over 10 years away from MSFS I decided that it was time to revisit the game that I spent my childhood playing. I jumped onto steam and purchased MSFS and downloaded the 1.9gb initial file. However, I have been having no luck at all thereafter. When I launch the game I cannot even get to the installation manager, it simply crashes to desktop - both in safe mode and in normal mode. My gaming PC is pretty new and is vastly better than the recommended specs for the game. I'm on windows 11 and there are no updates. My graphics drivers are also up-to-date. So in the last 2 months of MSFS, the PMDG 777, Fenix A319/A321, TDFi MD-11, and FSS 727 were released. Some of these are AAA add-on releases. And just outside of the last 2 months, BeyondATC was released for MSFS. The last time I can remember when so many high quality releases came out for MSFS in a 2 month period was back in spring of 2022, when the PMDG 737, Fenix A320, Leonardo Maddog, and Just Flight BAe 146 was released. Hi. Just repeating here my unanswered question on Fenix discord without "words are not really allowed" 😁 I did 5 takeoffs on A319 already and never got safe climbout speed. Takeoff as usual, engage AP at 400 ft. The MCDU managed speed magenta bug sits at V2 speed instead of V2+10 until accel speed altitude. Then the plane accelerates as usual. Hey! How the --- you all fly the newest update .313 if MCDU gives V2 managed speed between takeoff and acceleration height instead of V2+10? This is not safe at least.
