Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Since Flysimware C414AW Chancellor is on sale I have been thinking about getting it. But I would like to know how does it compare to the similar steam gauge overhaul planes like Baron 58 and analog King air ? I am mainly thinking about depth of simulation and realistic behaviour. The C414 is cheapest for now but could it be better to pay a little more for an overhauled plane. What Pro and Cons could be stated for these planes ?

On 3 Sept last I started a topic in this forum entitled "SWS PC-12 Update 3Sept 2024". I wanted to discuss the new update installer not opening. Hi all, joined the BATC supporters club yesterday , and yes great potential ahead i think. However aim getting strange AI models blank ones and weird Airlines such as Sky Knight and Black Pearl . they well be airlines but I've never heard of them. At first i thought it was a problem FS Traffic models so uninstalled and loaded in FSTL instead but still the same issue , anyone else having this issue ? should add this is with the Fenix

When you water taxi in a float plane, even under major steel bridges in cities like NYC, you get teleported up over 50 ft to the roadway or top of the bridge. The landing gear also auto-deploys as if it's doing you a favor. You can only tell it's doing this with crashes disabled (dev mode). Otherwise, it would probably seem like you hit an invisible wall and crashed with the black screen telling you so. Anyone pick up the new KASE from Fly2High? Thoughts on looks and performance?

One thing I have missed in the Fenix is the first officer speed and flap callouts. The other day I read a post on their discord where someone asked about this, and another person posted a link to this free mod. I installed it in my A 320, and it is great. All the speeds, flap positions, are called out. You do need to have the Paid version of FSUIPC to utilize it, the instructions to install it are very easy to follow. It really adds a great deal to the immersion in the Fenix Airbus series, as it works on all of the models. Are there any good landing rate monitors that doesn't require FSUIPC? I used LRM and that required FSUIPC but on my first flight without running FSUIPC and LRM (forgot to load it), my stuttering went away. Might be coincidence, but thought I would check. Thanks

simMarket: BRITISH RAIL MSFS Theres alot of trains going in some lines of England. I estimate the smallest cap between a train, was 1 kilometer and they are going in both directions. In south England i was going to north 25 trains in vicinity. They look okay, the trains, but they are tubes, but i think this is better presentation than other. Cheap as a cup of coffee about 10 Euros. word not allowed yours now and support the developer. He aint selling on marketplace and he comes with new product often. Hi guys, I'm a very late adopter of FSS' 170/175, and while I'm pretty good setting everything up correctly, I can't seem to find a way to review my route on the MFD in order to check for potential errors, after inputting the flight plan. Does anyone know how to accomplish this on the RJ? Thanks in advance, Pete

I have a problem with the nose wheel steering. It used to be ok. But now if I turn rudder, the plane does not turn. Only turns when I use differential brakes... Or maybe there is a switch turning on/off nose wheel steering? But don;t think so... The same problem occured with sws DA42... Or maybe there is another plane in Community which conflicts? Any ideas? I haven't flown for a while, so not sure exactly when this happened, but I downloaded the latest patch, and now I'm getting worse performance. There is an occasional stutter when I pan the camera around, and also when flying and viewing the aircraft from the external camera. Seems like something happened....but my settings haven't changed. First flight today with the Fenix A319, looks good but I came across an issue with weights. The Simbrief profile I used for flight planning was as provided, I did not change anything other than convert kilograms to pounds. The passenger (PAX) weight is 176 lbs. and I rounded it to 175. Payload is 124 PAX plus 7200 lbs. for cargo. The Empty Weight in the Simbrief is specified as 92396 lbs. Here is the problem/question: Total PAX weight is 124 x 175 = 21700 lbs. The Fenix tablet's Mass & Balance confirmed 124 PAX boarded. Cargo weight is 7200 lbs. The Fenix tablet's Mass & Balance confirmed 7200 lbs. loaded. The A319-CFM Empty Weight …

In the default Cessna 172 I have assigned a switch on my TM Hotas Warthog throttle quadrant to the battery. If I turn on the battery with this switch the battery is turned on but alse the panel start flickering. Then turning of the battery with the switch will stop the flickering. This issue does not occur if I turn on ther battery with the mouse. What could this be ?

Don’t know how or why but on my server pc MSFS has reverted from PdL version to Base version. The MS Account connected to the XBox Live account shows that I own the PdL version. I found out because I wanted to disable the Asobo Frankfurt version after having bought AS Frankfurt. If I look on my client I can see the both De Luxe as Premium de Luxe upgrades are installed in the Marketplace, while on the server I now need to buy them. I sent a ticket through Zendesk and am waiting for an answer. Anyone ever had the same and knows how to solve this ?

Over the last few days whenever I've filed a Simbrief Atlantic flight plan, it correctly selects the NAT track during planning, but when I generate the flight plan, I always get the following message on the OFP: TRACK X IS NOT ACTIVE, CROSSING 30W AT 2147Z FILED USING INDIVIDUAL TRACK WAYPOINTS I have the newest AIRAC installed. I am having difficulty seeing liveries downloaded from Flightsimto to appear in MSFS. I think I know what the problem is but I don't know how to fix it. In the Community folder, the livery directory of a livery installed using the Fenix Livery Manager contains 4 items- subdirectory MODEL.xxxx, subdirectory TEXTURE.xxxx and the files AIRCRAFT. CFG and LIVERYDATA.JSON. These work fine. The livery directory extracted from the *.ZIP downloaded from Flightsimto to be copied to the Community folder has 3 of the 4 items from above; it's missing the LIVERYDATA.JSON file. This is true for multiple *.ZIP files so I don't think the problem is with the ZIP files. I …

I'm trying to figure out how to arm LNAV and VNAV in the Asobo Longitude (with WT G5000) so that FMS and V ALTS gets announced on the FMA in white. I was able to do it once but not again. Here is what I do on lineup: press the TOGA button on the side of the throttle lever then press the AT button on the back of the lever. On the FMA I see TO, TO in green and ALT S in white (also TO in white for the AT). If I arm LNAV (press NAV) then the green TO switches to green FMS. However, once I saw a green TO and white FMS below when arming LNAV but I can't replicate it again. What should be the correct way to do this?

Ok, I'm no jetway expert, but I'm guessing these jetways aren't supposed to be like this..... with a section missing?! The odd thing is, I was having this issue a few days ago with two UK2000 airports. This pic is Pyreegue UKBB Boryspil and the same thing.
