Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Can anyone help me figure out how to reduce rolling cache size? I accidently increased it to 200 gigs, when I really only wanted 100 gigs 🤦‍♂️, but now the sim is telling me that I can't reduce the cache to something smaller than what I had already set.

I am pretty new to all this so I don't know if I am doing something wrong or whether I am seeing a bug. I am using the new Microsoft Flight Planner website to do the plan. Save it. Then I have tried loading the plan into the EFB from the World menu screen, as well as from within the C172 EFB. First problem: Regardless of which location I load the plan from, sometimes it really gets loaded and sometimes it seems that nothing really loaded. The FPL button would yield no info and there would be no plan mapped on the screen. And before you ask, yes, I clicked both Add to ATC and Add to avionics. Hi Guys, My scenery is extremally blurry which PG on, I've checked task manager and its showing I'm using between 1Mbps-3Mbps, I've seen some people are using up to 180 per hour. Bandwidth is set to unlimited and High settings FG mod 1440p Is there a setting I'm missing? Many thanks for your help! My internet is unlimited 350Mb virgin fiber broadband.

I want to go back and screenshot the disrespectful markings and logos from the medic cabinet. Especially the logos.

When I try to open ms2020 or 2024 A XBOX box shows up saying "Let's get you signed in". When I try to sign in it gives the option to use E-mail, phone, or skype. The problem is that there is no blinking cursor so I cant select "email" or anything . When I go to my XBOX app, it shows that it is open so I guess they mean my Microsoft account. Don't know how to tie it all together - how to access my Microsoft account to work as part of the sign in. Hope I've made it clear enough, but I'm old with fewer brain cells. Thanks for any guidance. A little trick I discovered while testing the new update. For those wishing to fly the MAX online it's possible to tune the xpndr manually by using the vpilot shortcut. Its a bit clunky, but it works - Launch the sim and vpilot and select the max and get to where you are ready to input the code. In vpilot use the "dot" command - .squawk xxxx and select. Confirm the code is set msgs. Now in the sim, cycle the "alt src" button on the transponder from 1 to 2 and back and confirm the correct code is set. Instrument displays not working in the A321, simple workaround is to enable "Alternative Display Renderer" in the FenixSim A320 app. Don't forget to hit apply after changing. Works perfectly after that fix from Discord channel. Fast work from Fenix team. Sim plays fine and looks great no stutters on flight real wx KSEA / KPDX. Simbrief flight in real WX, very foggy landing broke out at 250'. Felt very real. Responsive hand flying. Sort of sluggish but very steady, quite different than the 319 and 320.

Hi all. Is anyone having issues with some NZA airports since the MSFS20204 patch today? Until today I have not had any issues with NZA airports. I have all the NZ airports installed through Orbx . However since the latest patch which takes MSFS 2024 to 1.2.7.0 the following NZA airports either CTD when trying to load or if they do load the sim runs at extremely low FPS (less than 5). The airports which are giving me issues are NZNS, NZCH, NZNR. (I have also tried NZMF, NZWF and NZTG which seam to be fine), Note I dont believe its my system, it is a intel I9 with a 4090 NVIDIA card and as I noted its has ran all the NZA airports fine until today. I have just finished my first flight EGLL-EHAM using msfs2024 historical weather: - Load MSFS2024 at egll, set live weather time to 6:30AM local. - start ActiveSky, passive mode, set historical time Dec6th 6:30Z. - recreate simbrief flightplan for Dec 6th 6:30Z - star simbrief downloader and upload historical weather in simbrief - start FSHud in ActiveSky mode. - Start flight, enjoy sun rise. - Fshud assigns me to ILS27 as winds at EHAM this morning where 290/31 I have been waiting for this since my last P3D flight. If not you should. It is an excellent aircraft. Study level. FM, Systems and Automation work well. After you fly it come here and tell us what you think of it. I’m very disappointed with the state of the Bell 407 in MSFS 2024. One of the basic features in any aircraft, especially a helicopter of this caliber, is the ability to manually start it from Cold and Dark. Even pressing Ctrl E doesn’t work. For an included helicopter in the default fleet, this is embarassing. Manual start is a very standard feature.

Did anyone figure out how to close ATC window in FS2024? It opens fine but can’t close it with the same key. I check the bindings and it’s same as FS2020. It works fine there.

Ok, with the new update, here what my sim looks like...lots of weird glitches on the ground in default KLAS, and GPU is pegged at 99% now when before would be like 50% or less. Any advice? havnt changed a thing since the update in settings and drivers. On the latest Nvidia drivers

I really need some advice here. After months of reconfiguring MSFS2020 on a new PC the game started to become unresponsive and buggy in past week or so. Finally, yesterday it became totally unresponsive. There was no recent changes to the community folder and everything was on my C Drive, an Integral 2TB NVMe. I ran checks on my PC and everything appears to be fine. But, to be absolutely certain, I did a full clean Windows 11 re-installation. Because I have a slow internet connection the game was almost 24 hrs downloading and installing. The installation hung twice during the massive download. Hello guys, For about 3-4 months I struggle with very annoying issue I got in msfs 2020. Mainly I am having problem with screens/displays mostly on Fenix a32x. When panning around the cockpit, and also when zooming in/out I see that displays are skintillating/jerking. I’ve done a lot of testing, even I reinstalled my whole system within updating to Windows 11. This issue is only when I use Frame Generation option(The native one in msfs settings) BUT when I installed the nexus mod for frame gen I noticed that this issue gone. As per title, I have seen plenty of vids with certain default planes showing passengers inside. I am not talking about the passenger feature of GSX Pro. And I am also not interested in the passengers shown in career mode. How do I know if a plane supports depiction of passengers? Is there any list? Or do I see it in the selection menue? I guess only "true" MSFS2024 default planes will show them, correct? But as those are not marked in the selection menue...

Using MSFS2020 I had to Reset my Microsoft password (for Security reasons), that's fine but then when I got back into MSFS2020 I found all my settings had reverted back to Default. That isn't so bad either, just a bit of Pain in the You know what! It appeared I had lost all my Control Profiles too. But that has happened before and I was able to recover them from the "Cloud"☁️. From past experience all I had to do was unplug all my USB wires for my controllers and plug them back in again and all my Profiles returned (showed up)...as simple as that! I'm sure others have experienced the same or worse (I feel for you).
