Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I own the Premium Deluxe version of 2024. I am really enjoying working with it, experimenting with it, and flying it every day. I've checked my Library and my Cessna 152 does not appear. Does anyone else have this missing plane issue? I check every day to see what's been streamed, what's available, etc. Please let me know if there's something I need to do to assure completeness to my Library.

i recently got back to msfs2020 , compared to older version i have a problem that i know you guys can answer I want my 2nd hat switch to simply , smoothly and infinitley pan up and down in the cockpit . i want to assign move up and move down left and right but not incrementally, i simply like to move it to whatever i wish,, this seems to be a preset increment when i set it up with "translate or other commands," i have the main hat switch set up to look around but that is not what i want to do with the second and the up and down keyboard buttons are not infinite Im trying to set up the second hat swith on the x52 to be able to move the cockpit smoothl…

I just bought MSFS2024. My CH Eclipse yoke is not working. I am looking for a driver mapping automatically in the program. I have the same problem with my saitek trottle quadrant... Thank-you!

In order for BeyondATC to work well it requires that we create a Simbrief FP, then load it using BATC. The challenge for me is that BATC assigns takeoff & arrival runways and so far the simbrief FPs don't always match BATC. Simbrief doesn't have an AUTO runway feature even though the ATC Help Center says it does. I want to create the FP and not include runways, DPs or STARS. I've resorted to just entering the route manually in simbrief. How are you using Simbrief to plan your flights with outdated navdata?

Im on a mission, freelance, and I've arrived at my destination. Parked and shut down, but the prop wont stop spinning, and the objective still says to wait for engine shutdown. Ive done a couple of manual shut downs and also a couple of shft ctrl E, but to no avail. Any ideas?

I am not sure if I have ever seen this before but here is a video about a plane in MSFS2024 created by the actual real world creator of that plane! In this case it's the Joby and the video is made by Joby Aviation. Anyone ever seen a video like this made by Cessna or Cirrus...? Anyway, this looks like a cool (novelty) plane to fly, specially for sightseeing. I will give this one a go for certain!

Hya, I just wonder if someone have a solution for the bug with the LNAV ? The sudden left orbit when flying SID or even direct to is frustrating. Appreciate any suggestion ?

Im trying to select a leg in my flightplan in the G1000 (c208, cargo). However, the bottom right knob isnt behaving as I remember it from msfs2020 which I would click on it to have a line select happen in the flight plan. I used to then be able to rotate the knob to scroll up and down the legs in the FLP and then select a direct-to. How do you scroll up and down now, and select a leg for a direct-to in msfs2024? https://imgur.com/a/FqHiQcQ

So, when I use this 2020 helicopter addon in 2024, I experienced stutters and unexplained FPS loss. Deleting it from the community folder and restart MSFS 2024, the performance is back to normal. But I am not really sure since the developer has stated that all of their products are compatible, albeit not fully, with MSFS 2024. Do you have the same issue? I'd rather not mention the product since it could have been on my end.

I am creating a FIP gauge that will allow activation of various switches not covered by the Saitex/Logitech Switches Panel, based on Baron G58 switches plus a couple of gauges to show current status . I want to include the Prop Amps gauge but cannot find the variable for it. Does anyone know if it exists and if so, what is it.

I know that this has been discussed all over the place but I am hoping I can get an aggregate opinion on the state of affairs. So far I am only testing with the C172 G1000 in MSFS2024. When I start up 2024, the camera works fine, show's cockpit and external view. If I go up to the toolbar and select the camera icon, where it says cockpit, external and showcase at the top, no matter which on I select it doesn't change and the camera appears to be in external mode with a 1000x zoom going on. Sometimes at the bottom of the screen it says FREE CAM. How do I get out of this mode and get it back to behaving as it should? Thanks for any help!

Asobo's basic 172 seems to be finally working, but I got this one problem is that barometer is in QNH, and couldn't find a way to switch it to inHg. Anyone happens to know how to make it in inHg setting? Also, is it just me or after the patch the 2024 becomes more unstable? I got multiple CTDs recently. I fly mostly in VR, and felt the performance seems to be degraded too.

Hi guys, with the control setup curve graph not working at this point... is there anyway to set up the TCA so it works with reversers for the Boeing 787? Im not entirly sure how to do it in 2024 as cant select the neutral spot... Thanks for any help!

Dear All, May I ask if anyone is having the same issue with MSFS2020 in that it gets to the flight loading screen and stays there with the loading blue ribbon to the furthest right position? Is it a server issue? I'm located in the UK. Best regards, Peter

Can you add fuel to your company AC before a mission? My plane is starting a mission and it has no fuel. When I go to the EFB and try to add it has no effect. Thanks.

The amount of 2024 compatible add-ons is rapidly growing. It seems that I will use both sims for a while. If you are in a related situation, with lots of 2020 add-ons, how are you going to organize it? I'm using Addos-Linker (compatible with both) but I'm not sure if I should physically separate the add-ons if they are compatible and can be used in both simulators.

Since 1.2.7.0, I have an issue with FS2FF (v0.1.14), the little program that allows me to connect my tablet with Foreflight or Skydemon. It worked like a charm previously with MSFS2020 and MSFS2024. The SimConnect (MSFS2024 <-> FS2FF) doesn't establish. Connect green light appears very briefly then FS2FF disconnects. I have reset the local Windows firewall and check fs2ff has private (and public) access is ticked. Other apps SimConnect connections work. Didn't find anything related to FS2FF in my Event Viewer. Anyone has an idea how to fix or diagnose this? Thanks for your help.

OK, I don't know why this has reared it's head again, but it's really affecting the flying for me. I know there will be countless others who say they don't have a problem or don't know what the problem is, but for me, and many, many other simmers, it's a big deal. What the hell is the point of blowing hard earned cash to get a high end monitor, if the image is constantly inaccurate or overexposed! I am really tired of this shifting of the exposure in certain situations. In particular it's very noticeable when in the cockpit and the outside becomes overexposed, sometimes completely 'blown out' sky with over exposed, clouds. In FS2020 there was an incredibly useful function in developer mode. You could pause the sim, open various config files to edit them, go back to the sim and re-load/re-sync the aircraft so you could see your edits without having to exit the sim, restart it then reload the aircraft. FS2024 SDK appears to have removed the reload function. This now means every single edit will take 10+ minutes to see while you quit then restart the entire sim and reload the aircraft, whereas with reload/re-sync your edits could be seen almost instantly. For FS2020: Is there any reason why developers continue putting static aircraft on the tarmac with payware airports? We have multiple ways to include static aircraft ourselves if we want it. Designers need not do this anymore unless there's still a good reason for it. Now, I constantly start an airline flight at a gate but I have some aircraft parked on top of me. It takes several attempts having to reboot the flight sometimes to find an open space. FSLTL and live traffic are constantly popping up new aircraft in empty parking slots, and airports with static aircraft make it even worse. Please stop including static aircraft in payware scenery. In MSFS2024, how do I check CG and set individual tank fuel quantities? I assume you use the MSFS2024 sim EFB, but how? In MSFS2020 the fuel dropdown from the Widget provides access to each fuel tank and displays the quantity. I am using the MSFS2020 legacy Flysimware Lear35A aircraft in Free Flight mode. Thanks, Al
