Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

New to Spad. I have my Saitek radio panel working using Spad. Next I tried to get my Honey Bravo lights to work. I can get either to work. But not both. It probably has something to do with Profiles. But I don't understand how to create a profile. I guess you create a profile and some how add radio and HB into the same profile. But, being new to Spad I have no idea on how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Bill McCracken

when i try to apply control settings of my periphericals to all aircraft,the sim crashes to desktop anyone else?

I have extensive experience with the PMDG 737 (13 years) but I have decided to try Fenix A320. The aircraft looks nice and handles just as good as the PMDG. However, I am having a hard time programming my flight plans on the computer management computer. I am having issues getting rid of the “discontinuity” legs. I am also having issues with Simbrief populating into the FMC. All to say, is there a good tutorial video that is not an hour long? I would like to watch something brief and to the point.

Is there a plan by Asobo to develop photogrammetry cities in South America and other places? The scenery there looks really bad. It looks like the cartoon network.

Hi there. I wonder if you heard about this problem yet? I flew my second mission with the Cessna Caravan now (Cargo) and it led me to UK from Denmark. Now I am unable to chose this plane for any other mission, even if I transfer it to an airport that has a mission available. It only suggests to transfer my other plane from mainland to do this mission. Is this a known bug or am I missing something? Thank you!

Since I purchased the FSS B727, I've been extremely pleased about their regular updates on this aircraft. I wish that they had done the B707 as well. I have quite a few add ons, and FSS has distinguished itself on this particular aircraft. I know that with regard to another of their aircrafts, they have been criticized for long delays and less than acceptable results. I do, however, want to give credit when credit is due. Good job, FSS!

This morning and afternoon I flew the inibuilds A321N in UA colors from SFO to OGG. First time I tried the A321N since FS2024 first came out and I am happy to report its much more stable today then it was this time last month. Its NO Fenix by any stretch of the imagination but not a half bad model. From my uneducated seat of the pants butt dyno it felt pretty accurate as far as performance and fuel burn is concerned. Maybe a tad over powered but maybe the NEO is for reals? What really impressed me was flying into OGG. This airport is known for turbulence and rolling winds between the mountain ranges in the valley make for a challenging approach. I am happy to r…

I can't get mine to respond to a key and I don't know if this has been fixed in an update. I can't find any updates or a download section on the Cockspur website. How do I tell which version of the C510 is installed in my PC?

I have been flying the DC-3 Emerald Harbor with the retro panel and latest Duckworth mod in 2020 for a long time and the auto pilot works well. However, in my new 2024 version I cannot get it to turn to the selected course I have set. It turns to the North every time I try to use it. I do open the hyd. valve and set the lever just like I do in 2020 but I can't get it to steer to the correct selected heading. I have not installed the Duckworth mod because I have not seen anyone talking about using it in the 2024 version. Anyone have a hint for me on what I am doing wrong? Should I install the Duckworth mod in 2024? Thanks

I've been seeing this mentioned in forums and in the POH for the aircraft, but I could never figure out what exactly power indicates since it apparently does not indicate throttle. While cruising, is there any reason I shouldn't do full throttle while leaning it appropriately, as long as the RPM doesn't hit the red and I don't over speed, of course? What I'm most curious about, however, is what is considered "75% power" and how do I find that value.

I am slowly exploring & feeling my way around MSFS2024. Today I was looking at my Marketplace and I have a few questions about these offered Packages: 1. PREMIUM DELUXE UPGRADE (Which is what I have) says disabled, do I need to install this upgrade? 2. STREAMED DATA UPGRADES. Do I need to install these as well and are they "hard" stored on my HD? 3. What are these listed Upgrades? Do I need to install these as well even though I own the PREMIUM DELUXE package?: STANDARD TO DELUXE UPGRADE STANDARD TO PREMIUM DELUXE UPGRADE DELUXE TO PREMIUM DELUXE UPGRADE

I know this is an addon for msfs 2020. How could I put this into 2024 without having to purchase 2020? Not sure how this all works to tell, you the truth.

Is there a setting in 2024 that makes the mountains look sharper (for lack of better terms)? I have seen some videos on Youtube and the mountains look different than 2020 to me and have more of a realistic sharpness to them; particularly the peaks. Could this just be the servers not rendering them well enough or do I need to adjust a setting? Flying out of Salt Lake City and Jackson Hole felt a little underwhelming to me. Still nice, but not like what I have seen. I felt it looked like 2020 still. Any suggestions?

A few days ago, when pressing B (which I set to Set Altimeter), the current QNH was set. Now it always defaults to 0948. Am I using the correct function - and it's bugged - or is there another function I'm looking for to set the altimeter to the local pressure?

There are a milltion YouTube videos about setting up the throttles for different types of aircraft on the Honeycomb Bravo. But I can't find any videos that suggest good ways to set up the toggle switches. So ........ I am looking for information from people that use that throttle as to how you have your flip switches configured. Thanks

I find myself adjusting the range knob for the MFD in jets all the time. Is there a parameter that can map it to a knob on a device?

Is it me or is the old bug where the glidescope puts you too far on the runway still there in MSFS2024? Seems like something quite important which should have been fixed
