Hello, I am not able to get this aircraft in a working state, mainly because of 2 items. One is , how do you remove the tie downs ( I know about the developer de-bug method, that does not work for this aircraft) and how do I remove the canopy cover ?

Just lately when flying alongside others in multiplayer I am finding they disappear completely when I get some nominal distance away, maybe at 1/2 a mile to a mile give or take so still within normal visible range This seems to be happening quite regularly now. I'm not talking about the aircraft disappearing when you get very close I have this switched off anyway, rather when they get further away. If I turn nameplates on I can see the label displayed but not the aircraft Anyone else getting this?, its spoiling group flights for me.

Is there a way to increase the grass draw distance in MSFS 2020? I have it set to ULTRA, but it is only rendering a short distance ahead of me. I want it to be at least twice that distance.

I fly in South Florida and down to the Keys as this is my home area. I have always thought that the Everglades looked like it would be perfect for doing some great sea plane bush flying. Of course, in reality this is impossible. Sea planes are not allowed to land in the Everglades and even then, there is no "destinations" to go to. The initial mission text stated I should land at runway 30 to a 40 knot headwind, which I did. Once I landed it told me I landed at an undesignated landing area and that I should have landed at the opposite direction, to a 40 knot tailwind. Bear in mind this was a VFR flight to an airfield with no ATC so there was no communication. As far as I know, pilots always land into the wind. Is there any reason you would do this in real life?

Does FStarter allow the user to move the airplane from the runway to a parking spot? I find SLEW mode a little tricky to use. There also an FStarter24, does anyone prefer one or the other. Thanks for your input.

Been flying the Cessna Citation Longitude and noticed the altitude call outs on approach volume is very low. I've checked my system volume settings, MSFS settings in the options tab. I've checked everywhere I can think of to increase the volume, but all the settings are all ready set to 100%. Don't know if I'm missing anything or not. Maybe it is what it is and that's it. I am trying to implement all helipcopter hardware bindings in SPAD.next instead of using the controller setup in MSFS 2024. So far I have only managed to bind the cyclic, but I am struggling to assign 1) the collective axis, 2) the engine throttle (grip) axis, and 3) the cyclic trim. I am using the information within the SDK https://docs.flightsimulator.com/msfs2024/html/6_Programming_APIs/Key_Events/Helicopter_Specific_Events.htm, but I am having no joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BATC recently caught my eye and I have a few questions that I was hoping one can answer. It looks pretty interesting but I am not sure about a few things: 1) I thought early on i saw that you can readback your ATC transmissions like I would in real life / Vatsim. However, on some Youtube clips i have seen recently, it looks like readback transmissions appear to be AI. Is that true or am I able to readback with my voice and have it recognized? 2) I currently use PSXT with Real Traffic. Is it safe to say that would not work with BATC as BATC would have no way of controlling that AI Traffic? Or can you use PSFT/RT and have BATC only control my flight? 3) …

I have AIG at 100% (freeware only though) and I wonder if it is useful to keep FSLTL activated. What does FSLTL offer that AIG doesn't have? EDIT I use MSFS2024 and only use the models (and liveries) from AIG and FSLTL with BATC. So I don't use the injectors. So the question actually is: does FSLTL offer any models and/or liveries that AIG doesn't have? I am asking this because AIG has a LOT more models and liveries and because I like to keep my PC as clean as possible, so the less apps and stuff, the better (specially for whenever I need or want to reinstall Windows 11).

Today when I fired up MSFS 2024, I could not believe how crappy everything looked. I checked my graphic settings and literally overnight all of them were changed from either ULTRA or HIGH to LOW. Everything was changed including anti-aliasing and every level of detail setting. What caused this and has it ever happened to you? How do I prevent this in the future? Additionally, I'm getting a constant message while flying saying... "Error accessing Live Air Traffic Data". Does that have something to do with the wifi connection or is there something going on with the sim? Thanks.

Anyone know how to stop that error message from spamming you about not being able to load traffic data? Or do you have to stop the entire thing and change settings? I also noticed I was in a T-pose in the cockpit at the time, so it's clearly more issues with streaming. Just wish I could toggle some of it off.

Hi, I had that problem a long time ago, when I activate or use another apps like fshud , I lose the sound of the msfs 2020 windows. I have to click on the simulator window with my mouse to get the sound back. I do not recall how I solve it. Pierre

Over the past three days I have a continuous issue. When I leave a flight I cannot get back to the main menu. MSFS zooms up to an aerial view and then freezes up. Little spinning circle just stops. I have removed addons and still am experiencing the issue. Yesterday I did a complete reinstall of 2024 and that appeared to resolve the issue. But today it is back. Anyone else experience this? Any resolution?

Somebody in Reddit composed a list of photos of MSFS 2024 vs famous movies and their locations: It’s simply amazing. You will not get this in MSFS 2020 without using custom scenery add-ons. The OP of that thread did use some add-ons like the train add-on, but I don’t think he used add-ons to generate the main part of the background scenery.

I am running Spadnext 0.09.19. which I purchased. When starting the app asks if I want to download version 0.09.20. I confirm this and nothing happens. This repeats ad nauseum as many times as I want to try. The website still says 19 is latest version. Incidentally, the latest videos show version 20 in operation. Now the app won't load at all. I still have my registration key. What next? I want to run Spadnext to control Yoke, Rudder Pedals, Trim Wheel, Throttle Quadrant, Multi Panel and Switch Panel. I have not had any live Traffic for days now, even before the last update. This is even with an empty community folder. Anyone else with this experience?
