Today we released a massive update to GSX. After pressing esc to end a flight ion 2024, the menus show up but the camera circles around the plane. You can see your flight path in blue and elevation. There is a small button at the bottom of the screen that says Freelook or freeview, something like that. After pressing you can move the camera and look around. you can also see your approach in blue with a highlight showing your flight path. Kinda cool, however, I get stuck when I try this. The back to Briefing button lights up but nothing happens when you press it. I had to ALT-F4 and quit the sim to start over. Not a big deal, but an interesting curiosity.

I have never been charged for going over my monthly internet allotment but this month I have been charged twice for going 10gb over my plan. Is this going to be the norm? If so I need go to unlimited internet.

You know, mostly I really like this plane, the avionics are a bit of a pain to deal with, but hey, I tried my usual RNAV/VNAV test flight, and this bird passes, once at an altitude with an approach defined, so an IAF, it not only correctly calculates TOD, but provided you arm things properly, it auto descends when it gets there, and then when reaching the IAF you hit APR and you get an LPV approach. This is more than SWS can say, it has no VNAV, so ya, you have to do advisory, its not a big deal, that I can handle, but what annoys me is that when you get to IAF it does NOT do an approach. How do we know if the Sim has been updated ?

Hi, in the last month, in many flights, I suffered of a sudden loss of altitude in cruise phase with PMDG B737NG. For exemple, today I was flying from YPKU to YBMA at FL370 in VNAV PATH, and after an hour or more of quiet cruise, the aircraft suddenly started a fall at 5000 ft/m and more till reaching around FL320... The required altitude was showing FL370, the CMDA remained engaged an during the fall the FD was showing a required pitch up not followed by any autopilot action. Beginning this morning when opening the simulator, I noticed that the mouse and my Alpha and Bravo yokes do not interact with the switches and rotary knobs in the cockpit. I restarted the simulator, disconnected and reconnected the yokes but without success. There is also something strange, camera views on my Alpha yoke interacts with the simulator which indicates that the controller is correctly connected. Also, the mouse is ok on all other apps! Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone... Can someone tell me where the main Fenix folder is located and what it is called? I am trying to see if I have a duplicate Skalarki MCDU Plugin which apparently is in my Fenix folder. I thought it was in the Community folder labeled Fenix A320 or FenixSimulations_A320 but I don't have that in there. Apparently the MCDU Plugin is in there. Thanks!

I bought myself a CJ4, for my VIP charter company. No missions show up, and I dont have any relevant yellow/gold missions available either. How do I unlock missions for this plane?

Anyone who’s had success moving 2020 scenery content into 2024, how did you do it? Specifically inibuilds KLAX and EGLL. I’ve had pretty good success just dragging the folders between community folders, but for whatever reason KLAX and EGLL just won’t work. LAX has no terminal buildings, with people walking midair and jet bridges floating. EGLL has bright pink, blue, and red buildings. I’ve seen streamers use both these airports in 2024 and they look perfect. I had LAX working for awhile, but sometime after the patch it just stopped Any ideas? Looks like 64GB might be a good idea for people like me who really want to push things! A quick recap: I'm running a 12700K with 32GB 5600mhz ddr5 ram, and a RTX4080. I run at 1440p resolution. I've got a heavy load on the system here. It's FlightBeam's KMSP, FSW's Lear 35 with third party paint (which aren't working super well yet - we think it's contributing to vram saturation). heavy overcast layer (it looks good though!), and default AI traffic. My settings are Ultra with TLOD to 400 and OLOD to 200. My cpu and gpu temps are still totally fine but the ram is saturated on the cpu and gpu haha. I've never seen 2020 use much more than 20GB RAM. My VA requires pilots to start their flights at the gate. Once at the gate I can remove the pins for the pitot tubes and also open the door and be in the pilots seat. The problem I have is I can't remove the engine covers or the chocks. I can click on the pins but nothing happens. I am using the B737 8 MAX. Any ideas? Bob G.

Hi! A few days ago I tried to contact ATsimulation via EMail ([email protected]) because I have a problem with missing pilots in external view in the P149 and the cricri. E-Mails came back with an error-message (Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender / Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 No Such User Here). I went to their facebook page and the last post there seems to be from christmas 2021. Anybody know something about their status? TIA

MS Flt Sim2020 I know how to set the altitude and rate of climb or descent but I struggle as to activate the command. Any help would be appreciated

I asked this about a year ago but wanted to see if anything has changed. I have a 49" Ultrawide and am currently using 2020 / 2024 with the Fenix. For those using a similar display as me, what are you setting your cockpit view settings to find a realistic "feel" of sitting in the captains seat? I feel like it is either too far back and hard to read instruments, or too far forward where you don't have good depth, particularly when landing. I've asked this before but never really got an answer so I figured I'd throw it out there again. Are there any suggestions out there? I know the proper seat position is to put yourself in a seat that allows you to see three red dot…

I was getting 2-1/2 minute load times before patch..now they are closer to 4 minutes with vanilla sim. When I add just a few addons, it is closer to 6 minutes. I thought patch was supposed to reduce load times?

KATL is missing taxi/runway signs and for the life of me, I can't figure what is going on. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that did not work. KATL seems to be the only airport I have this issue. Was hoping someone might have an idea or two on how to fix this. Thanks!
