I just bought the Camp utility off of 2020 Marketplace and it works in 2024, but the stuff gets kind of lost in the tall grass. But now I can camp out. The only thing I tried that didn't work was static planes.

Once you figure it out that is. My biggest problem was, settings did not seem to stick and constant asking me to make new set. Finally I figured out the best way to deal with the new system. First every time you need to modify for any aircraft, create two new profiles. One General and one Aircraft (or plane). They can be copies of another profile that mostly works. Sometimes it is easiest just to delete all settings after creating new profiles, and start from scratch using search to quickly find the menu item. It is actually very quick and it sticks perfectly. I have the Blackbox BN-2 Islander, V2, and really like flying it. There are a handful of things that could be improved, but anyway, what I would like to do is change the colour of the instrument panels in the aircraft that have blue and white panels and change them to black. There was a mod on Flightsim.to but that no longer seems to work on the V2. I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of changing a few lines somewhere, but I have no idea where to start! I did find some information somewhere a while ago, where I had to copy some lines of text from one of the texture files, but that didn't seem to work either. Can anyone offer some help? Thanks guys.

Hello Gang. I remember all the fanfare about global shipping included in 2024 based on world real-world real time routing and even a feature developed in conjunction with the GAIST team. 2024 has been out three weeks and I have yet to have seen a single ship navigating anywhere. I've been to the port of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, etc..., and nothing. For the usual haters, YES, I have traffic enabled both air traffic (which is another separate story), and shipping to the max. Any ideas what may be going on with this? Thanks

I just flew with Boeing 737 max and A320neo V2 but Boeing was really laggy for me. Is anyone else having this issue?

Not getting 2024 until Christmas, but was wondering what success people are having with these as I have hundreds of freeware and payware airports, photosceneries, landmarks, etc and would hate to have to trash too many of them. Some of them appear to have been updated, but mostly not.

According to a FSElite article MK Studios is planning releasing LSZH by end of the year and EDDL in the first quarter of 2025. I am really looking forward for EDDL.

I get this sometimes when I'm trying to assign a button or switch with an assignment. The sim recognizes the switch, but then gives me the message "scan cancelled" and won't take the assignment.

I have purchased MSFS DeluxePremium. MSSTORE version. I installed it via the install button in the Windows-Microsoft Store. When I start MSFS2024, not all aircraft of the DeluxePremium package are available, and the “DeluxePremium additional package” cannot be activated in the MS2024 Store. In the Microsoft Windows Store I only see the standard version as “installed”. The DeluxePremium version is displayed as a cloud, it writes that i own it. hen I click on the cloud in the MSSTORE, the Install button appears. When I press it, nothing happens. Landing into Newark today (busy airport), and with aviation traffic set to 100%, I saw no aircraft landing or taking off. Is there an issue with MSFS rendering AI traffic? My apologies if this has been discussed, but I am just now getting back to forum discussions after a prolonged break.

Ok my fellow aviators. I have been having great performance until the last patch. I was even impressed at how smooth it was. I have two computers. One with a I7 8086K at 5ghz with a 3080TI and another with a 7800x3d at 5ghz with a 4070. Both ran ms2024 well prior to the patch. I found the problem on my first flight after the patch going from KGPT to KMGM. Frames were horrible at the gate and it started pulsing quickly as I taxied. You get off the ground and away from the airport and the frames shoot from 30 to 80 at 100ft. It only happens at default airports unless in a career mode flight. Before MSFS 2024 came out, I had assumed that I would upgrade to it shortly after launch - perhaps a month or two. I've got 2020 working really nicely at the moment, and so wasn't in a rush to hurry over on day one. After the tough launch last month I thought it best to wait it out a little longer than I'd expected. But since then, I'm looking at the videos and screenshots from 2024 and I can't help but feel that the cloud atmospherics are a step down from what we have in 2020, and a huge step down from where we started in 2020 pre-SU5. I have yet to see examples of the newly improved low visibility mist/fog so I can't judge that part yet, but I'm interested to hear …

I miss those guys. Sometimes it was cool to pull up to a spot and be directed to line up. I once landed at KJPX IRL. and there was a guy directing us to spot. Actually the tower controller was funny...he said, "can you folks hold on a minute, I'm a little busy right now" in an very informal way. I never understood why there were some marshals in random airports and not in others in 2020.

Is there anything out there for MSFS? Love the "goony" birds and would really enjoy the Basler version (PT67). I've been part of the Basler team for over 30 years.

Out of the blue, despite a robust 250 Mbs internet speed that I checked just now, I am getting ultra low graphics that I have never had before in MSFS2020 (most settings at ultra with 4090 GPU} and intermittent connectivity lost error messages. Dear fellow pilots, When I started my MSFS this weekend, nothing happened. It won't launch. No error message, nothing. Last time there was no problem at all. Windows update, Xbox app update, log in again. Reinstall MSFS several times. Install via store, install via Xbox app. Nothing seems to help. I think I have tried all the suggestions on the internet. \ What is strange is that MSFS installs the 2 GB, but cannot start the MSFS. I do see under programs that MSFS (standard) is installed and also digital proof of ownership.
