Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I have looked in all the usual places like " Packages" in 2024 and still can't find them....anyone know the path where they are located?... want to delete a bunch of them...

Anyone else having problems trying to export a flight plan from the tablet into the Saab 340B. I can only get the departure Airport and 2 other waypoints. If I do a plan manually, with direct entry it won't allow me to enter more than 4 waypoints after the departure. If I try to enter arrival Airport at this point, it's a no go.....I can only do a departure with SID and arrival with STAR, no waypoints - not very practical on a 2 hour flight with multiple legs and airways.

This combo works well for traffic injection via BATC and SI for ATC. Both in 20 and 24.

After the most recent MSFS2024 update and the Fenix update, all of my installed liveries in FS2024 disappeared. I uninstalled all of them from the liveries app and reinstalled but they still do not show up. They show up just fine in MSFS2020. I checked my Community folder and I see them there, just not in game. Anyone know of a solution to this issue?

Community folder is empty Sitting on the taxiway at Boeing Field (KBFI / Seattle) with ALL traffic settings at medium. I see ONE GA aircraft at the fuel pump. There are no other aircraft in signt. But, I hear the constant sound of jets and prop planes taxiing, taking off, and landing. None are visible. The very occasional auto, truck, van does drive by but I only see one at a time and for only a couple seconds. Where is the sound coming from and how do I get airport aircraft to appear? I have a number of liveries for the default A320 neo (v1) for MSFS 2020 that i downloaded from Flightsim.to. Does anyone know of an easy way to get these working for the A320neo V2? Cheers, Calum

Is the VisionJet in 2024 the same as the one from Flight FX? Does the G3000 have the same features? Has it been updated to use the 2024 flight model?

It’s a beautiful cold, sunny winter day here in Canada, the visibility is absolutely clear and unlimited. No sign of any haze in the atmosphere. A beautiful day to fly with MSFS, but unfortunately, the conditions are never CAVU in MSFS. There is always a haze (sometimes very thick), no matter what location, season, time or weather condition you select. I wonder if the reason for that has to do with the sim performance. With no haze, the graphics engine and CPU would have to work much harder to show all the distant details which are hidden by the haze. Or are there other reasons for the haze, even with Ultra settings on everything?🤔

I installed the Planner. I can load the new planner out side of EFB. When I select flight planner inside of the EFB. I get the original one. I must have installed it correctly on the computer. Why is it not available within EFB? Thank You

What is your worst performing airport addon in MSFS 2020? I have only recently started taxiing to parking spots in MSFS 2020 (I was just enjoying runway to runway flights prior to this), so I am experiencing the full hit on my PC for the first time at each airport. I have around a hundred airport addons (mostly payware), but to date the RD Presets LOWS Salzburg airport scenery is easily the one that struggles the most. I had previously seen evidence of this from the runway, but I thought that it was the fancy Hangar 7 detail that was the cause. I've experienced this a handful of times in the default CJ4 where the PFD/MFD are not in sync with the FMS. Doesn't always happen, however. Anyone else see this? Any ideas why it might be happening? I didn't make any modifications to my flight plan after initially loading it. I use sim-brief and load the plan into the EFB via the "load fp from PC" function.

I just used sim rate and noticed the clock doesn't speed up too. The problem here is that in 2020 I used the clock to check when I got back to sim rate 1x (when a second lasted a second again). Can't do that any more... Is there a way to see what sim rate you are currently using?

Just curious to know how often you perform maintenance for your plane in career mode. Given you have to pay around 4K just to have a status of the aircraft. I am cautious so I tend to check every 2 flight even though the maintenance schedule is recommending every 20 hours give or take.

I have just visited LIMJ Genoa (Beautiful Model of the World) for the first time in MSFS 2020, and it was really nice! I made a visual approach to runway 10 (using the RNP10 waypoints), and it was so cool hugging the mountains to my left, and then turning right onto final approach over the harbour. I know that the developer of this airport has been in the news recently for the wrong reasons, but that is not going to stop me from enjoying flights here. I can see options for online/offline AI and also traffic quality setting in the graphics menu. However, I don't see an option to choose the percentage amount of road/air/ground traffic like we have in FS2020. Anyone know how it's done? Stu

I open the Market Place and then Library and then check the 2020 Box. I need help understanding several things in the following image: 1. What does Not Available mean? 2. Where is the sim finding these addons? None, not a one, is in my 2020 Community Folder. I cannot even find the VFR objects anywhere in any folder. Some of the addons are on my D drive and some on the I drive but none of them are in a common folder. 3. I never downloaded the Ford 4-AT Trimotor so why does it appear in this list? 4. At startup, I have to constantly go through this screen. Have the Community folder setup and have never actually had a "crash". Since the update, this "last session" screen, along with a very stuttery opening "movie" is becoming annoying, to say the least. Did some searching but, have come up empty handed, so far. Oh, and did a complete delete and reinstall, to no avail. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Given the relative similarity between these two airplanes, which one would you recommend or prefer? Is the Cessna Corvalis that is included in the Standard edition a good substitute for the Cirrus SR22 that is only available in the Premium version? Which one do you think flies better in 2024?

The G1000 displays are so dim as to be un-readable. I know this has been mentioned, but I wonder if a fix was found. I know A2A put out a hotfix to brighten the PMS 750. Works great.

Hi, my MSFS2020 keeps crashing since the release of FS24 very often. I kind of gave of trying to run FS24, since it used to crash before I could even start a flight, but why is FS20 crashing, am I doing something wrong or have forgotten to update something? I also have plugged in the winwing a320 FCU, might that be a reason?

I use addonlinker and it always works perfectly. The 2024 comparability list shows the OV-10 as being 2024 compatible but... when I open the Library in the sim I see the OV-10 in a greyed out box with the message: Restart Sim and Disabled below that. Restarting does not change the Disabled and nothing I have tried changes the disabled. All the other entries in the community folder work OK. What does Disabled mean in this context?
