Has anyone been able to get Verticalsim’s Syracuse scenery loaded into MSFS2024? I purchased the marketplace version for 2020 a while ago, and copying it into the 2024 community folder doesn’t seem to work and the default scenery still shows up. Any tips would be greatly appreciated 🍻. Cheers, Pete

Hello, does anyone have the problem of AI planes being two to a gate in some airports while using FSLTL in MSFS2020? Their website says it's a MSFS issue, but I can't find much online about it so I am guessing not many people deal with it. Is there a known fix for this? Chad V.

I cant find any "collective cut" assignment in FS2020. Throttle cut is a different thing although it works with some helicopters? The reason is assigning collective cut makes touchdown easier. Thanks

Both of the addon aircraft I fly routinely auto-sense ambient and cockpit light and manage the difference. In both cases MSFS 2024 is throwing at me cockpit lighting based on GMT. I fly mostly in the eastern and midwest USA, at -4 hours to -5 hours delta. So for example when I am at 1500 local, MSFS is throwing 1900 or 2000 local at my cockpit. Meanwhile my outside environment and panel lighting are at true local. So what I get is a daylight outside environment and panel, and a dusk or after-dark cockpit. My instruments and gauges are then unreadable. Is there any way for me to trick MSFS into using GMT for all lighting until this is fixed? Default MSFS ai…

Hi folks, Since the latest Windows 11 update my Logitech rudder pedals are causing MSFS to crash and not to be recognised. I downloaded Logitech drivers which I thought may have fixed the problem but just had another crash. Anyone else experiencing this?

I’m struggling with big stutters/pauses on or near airports, especially large ones. For example, I head down the runway at KLAX and JERK JERK JERK all of these pauses as airport objects load in (the same thing happens when on approach to even a lackluster default airport like KBUR). I’ve improved matters a lot by turning off ALL air traffic so no planes try to load in, and I’m trying a target FPS of 60 in the graphics settings. I experienced this in 2020 and even experience it a bit in XP12, but was hoping that true multi-threading would have fixed it? (But maybe it’s not the CPU being challenged). Any tips or solutions for others experiencing this? …

So, a few observations. The first and I think most important is that MSFS24 uses far more RAM than Jorg let on. During all the live streams they made a point to say that 64gb will not be needed if you are not a streamer or making videos, 32gb should be fine. I beg to differ, especially if you use addons. I was not having issues until after purchasing FSHUD and GSX Pro. More stutters, screen tearing, and even crashes. I was practically pulling what hair I have left out. My daughters boyfriend suggested I pull up my processes and see what was going on, something I had not thought to do in my frustration. The results were not what I expected. MSFS2024 was pulling…

With a little effort, soon it will be 5 years in which Asobo has done absolutely nothing to generate a minimally correct real air traffic. How wonderful it is to see a Ural Airlines plane at a New York airport! congratulations!

Not having a proper Boeing in 2024 forces me to finally learn the Airbus. I was able to find nice tutorial on how to setup throttles, flaps and others on the Bravo for the A320, but re-using my 737 profile on this, none of the FCU bugs is working properly on the Bravo using that profile. Is that normal?

Hey everyone, I've been seeing how one of the many popular comments has been about night lighting in 2024 and that folks want MS to adjust it (which I agree). I figured I'd share some pics from this evening when I was landig in Vegas. You can clearly tell how faint night lighting is in the real world when it comes to airports. And the images here shows KLAS. So not a small airport by any measure. But in the real world, airports from a distance look so faint in their lighting. Especially runway and taxiway lighting (from far away). Once you get within a couple miles, it does start to get brighter but definitely nowhere near the brightness you see in 2024. Anyway…

Has anybody had the engines start to fail when flying the Huey and MS 24, I also have oil lights that will stay illuminated and that might be the issue.

New to 2024 but not to fltsim. As I set up controls on my CH Eclipse Yoke, there seems to be a conflict with the throttle that I set up. Sim seems to recognize it but something interferes with throttle movement. Any ideas?

As the title says. I promised myself I wouldn’t buy 2024 unless it released with fly by view. Googled this and saw mention at flight sim expo that in fact it should be in but haven’t been able to confirm. Thanks!

I'm flying the Inibuilds A320v2 in 2024. I fly on Vatsim quite frequently. I got FSLTL base models working ok with vatsim, but I want a United livery so the other vatsimmers see me as United. The 2020 liveries do not appear to work. Am I missing something? I just want a United livery that works with the airplane I'm flying.

My GPU is a 3060 Ti (as per sig bellow) Got the latest DLSS version using DLSS Swapper and then went to the NexusMods site and downloaded the latest version of DLSSG-2-FR. After running the registry activation and copying the two .dll files to FS 2024 "Content" folder I started FS 2024, but I see no "NVIDIA DLSS FRAME GENERATION" option in the Graphics Settings ? Help...

Sorry, its on Discord and I don't want to copy the thread completely here: https://discord.com/channels/535246634448191499/1314007053337104444 There's a request why iniBuilds standard MSFS2024 aircraft do not wipe water with their windscreen wipers. The answer from iniBuilds is: "Rich Thanks, for feature requests please post on MS forums as it is their call to make." That further discussion is then about, that users (like myself) ask further Q: "But that feature is already in SDK in 2024. Aren’t you suppose to take advantage of it?" A: "This is a microsoft product for which only they can decide when it comes to adding features…

*I'm not claiming this is a super fix - just trying to see if anyone else sees the same improvement. So this one threw me off and I'll preface this by saying that I'm still not sold on 2024, but this changed my experience considerably and I'm trying to determine if I'm misunderstanding something or it's a bug. A good friend of mine has a very similar hardware setup and I couldn't figure out why I would see micro-stutters and the overall smoothness of the sim didn't match his setup. I went through all of the settings and we were nearly identical except one thing. In his sim under the graphics settings, he had monitor refresh rate set for 50% while mine was set at 100%…

I've never really suffered with stutters in 2020, but since 2024 release I'm getting them more and more (especially just as I touchdown which is super annoying). Is this a known issue or anything I can do? I've not changed anything in 2020 at all.

Does anyone here use the AI Limiter in the AIG Traffic Controller? I cannot seem to get it to work. At first I thought that it may have something to do with the Departure and Destination airports being the same (I like to fly wide circuits at all of my airport addons), or maybe flying too far away from the airport (and getting outside a "sphere of influence" where the AI remain inactive). However, I have now tried setting separate start and destination airports, but the AI Limiter still refuses to work. Any ideas?

Is anyone else using this monitor. I have been running msfs 2020 no problems but now both sims freeze in the cockpit. I have a second 49 inch oled and using same cable it works just fine.

Simple topic. No extras! Only top 3 things you feel must be addressed first! Controls and input devices need to map, stay mapped, control (looking at you mouse neck snapper!) and work 100% as designed. All the inaccurate and erroneous Career penalties hindering accurate and proper play need to go stat. Optional user limited pre-chosen local areas/planes/asset caching needs implementing to be able to not require online connection and allow offline play.

I'm very happy with my MSFS 2020 installation, including a lot of addons. But of course, I would also like check out the 2024 version (on a separate drive). In the past I read some scary posts about conflicts between both versions on the same system. Is there, in the meantime, a consensus that it will not have bad consequences for the "old one"? Thanks for your experiences!

After my refund request went unanswered by Steam, I decided to cancel it and give the sim another shot. Honestly, it’s a lot better now. Even though I experienced a CTD during final approach, I still managed to get a solid 30-minute flight in with the 172. What really caught me off guard was the helicopter—it’s so much fun to fly! Surprisingly, it feels a bit easier compared to MSFS 2020 and XP11, but still enjoyable. I also turned off all the assistance settings, and even then, it still feels quite manageable. Not sure if it's realistic though... I’m also impressed with how good the sim looks, even on medium settings (with Buildings and Clouds bumped up to High…
