Hello, I haven’t flown much lately but on my last few flights I experienced an issue that I remember from the past but I thought had been dealt with to an extent either in the sim or perhaps through some controller settings on my part. The issue is when you’re nearly at takeoff speed and then suddenly it’s as if the tires have lost all ground adhesion and the aircraft starts yawing drastically and it very hard to control. This happened to me recently in the Carenado Mooney and Seneca. I did have a cross wind in both cases (though probably only 10kts or so, nothing crazy)...maybe the smooth takeoffs I’m remembering were without crosswinds? No such issue in my recen…

Downloaded this yesterday and never seen mountain flying so good. The mesh is fantastic and when combined with a few small airfield freeware addons (I have Zell am See and St Johann so far but there are a few others) provides an incredible mountain flying experience. I never thought I would ever see such crisp mountains, valleys and summits in a flight simulator. Utterly amazing. Hats off to Troglodytus for creating something incredibly stunning and I would urge you to download and experience it for yourselves.

Hi all... Today my MSFS (Purchased via Microsoft Store) wont start at all. Running the program start opens the Microsoft store window to Gaming Services. Within the MS Store the sim is listed as installed. On my C:drive, under WindowsApps FlightSimulator.exe has zero bytes... My Packages folder appears to be intact... I recently transfered my C: drive to a new SSD however I have run MSFS several times since then... I'm a bit at a loss... Anyone have any suggestions...? Thanks, Rob

For some reason I have two London Eyes in MSFS at the same location. One is static, the other is rotating. I used to have ORBX London landmarks installed but removed that when I added the MS UK update. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi Guys Any one used/done these at all? I'm thinking about getting the Round the World trip to give me a break from the long haul flights, and wanted to see what peoples experiences have been like with their products. Cheers Brendon

I recently discovered the reason my flights and flight times were not captured in the log book is because I have been enabling Dev Mode and clearing the console while in flight (at any point after the plane is at the departure gate). After I clear the console I disable Dev Mode and save, so it's only done to get to the console window then is closed prior to starting engines. I do this only to reduce or outright eliminate the white spiral spinning indicator which I'm pretty certain represents logging of warnings/errors/messages in the console, and I want to eliminate the indicator because every time it happens I get a very brief micro-stutter. If I don't do this sometim…

I've been a flight sim enthusiast for at least 25 years, the last 15 of them in FSX. I can't even begin to enumerate how many hours I've spent messing around in FSX, designing my own custom instrument panels and airports, and tinkering with aircraft config files to soup up some of the planes with a bit more performance. Just about a year ago, I built my first PC with adequate hardware performance for MSFS as one of the considerations: I knew that the game was going to be released in 3 or 4 months, and I wanted this computer to be ready for it. The CPU is a Ryzen 5-3600, 6 cores, 12 logical processors, 4.2 ghZ. Memory is 64 gB of 3200 mhz DRAM (I know, this is overkill, bu…

C172 with KTN750 basic and premier installed with the C172 package. The screen shot is simultaneous for my flight screen and my Navigraph screen. Flying the KSAN LOC RWY 27 approach as loaded into the AP and activated. The flight plan page in the MFD shows the correct sequence of waypoints and the correct bearing and distance for each pair in sequence. The AP flew me to PGY correctly and then the AP advanced the waypoint to be PGY -> LYNDI but the plane just kept going east. The PFD screen does NOT show the correct bearing and distance to fly from PGY To LYNDI and the plane does NOT turn toward LYNDI - it just keeps flying about 124°M, which is the magen…

A bit of a strange question I know, but after looking at the issues in the DR Congo today (poor folk!), I wondered if anyone has actually seen any satellite landscape tiles display an active red lava / magma pool in the crater, or even flowing down the sides. I am not on about the smoke or ash cloud, just the red landscape. It would be a bit of a long-shot I know, but apparently there are some volcanoes that are more or less permanently active (red glow in crater), I am just looking for one.

Based on my observations, constant requests of ATC for offline AI traffic to either climb or descend is based on two different altitude models. It appears ATC is using pressure altitude corrected for 29.92 above 18,000ft and the AI altitude model is using the actual QNH that is not adjusted above 18,000ft. Real time AI traffic are unaffected since they are not controlled by ATC. In addition, real time traffic will appear on the VFR map when zoomed, but offilne traffic will not. When flying in low pressure areas, AI traffic will be too high and vice versa. When I adjust weather to be clear skies ( Standard day ) , then the com[plaining stops as I assume the altitude mode…

Is it possible to reduce the lateral slew mode speed (left/right) in FS2020? In a previous thread it was suggested that hitting "R"+Left Ctrl+ Numpad "-" three times in normal mode and then entering slew mode this would lower the lateral slew speed. Unfortunately this didn't work for me. Certainly there must be another way to achieve this, however, I haven't found this method, yet. Of course I must have overlooked the obvious, but can somebody tell me what I may have overlooked or even better tell me what I should do to lower the lateral slew speed in FS2020. Thanks a lot, Hans

IFR— Wow I request a altitude decrease to 14000 feet, which it granted, then it assigned an altitude of 25000, I requested a decrease of 10000 ft.. Which played the request as 0 feet and then it denied. Had to kill my IFR flight plan, I did not want to be assigned to Alt of 25K. Hope I can give this feedback..

Hey all. I don't start many topics in this forum but I'm needing some guidance. I'm sorta over searching various approach plates and downloading the PDFs from FlightWare etc. As many know the Android App Store is a Cesspool and it's hard to distinguish an actual good app for this Vs yet another baitware app with ads and attempts to make you pay for something. I'm just a GA guy, who needs approach plates for the ILS NAV Freq and ALT which ILS is grabbed. Nothing complicated. Any suggestions?
