Still get a worse/bad performance after update SU 4 near the ground, any one else is watching this ? It gets mutch better at around 14000 feet and above.. My settings most at high and middle some ( 2 or 3 ) are at ultra. cheers 😉

Flying level (TBM) with fixed power setting i lose about 20 knots IAS after entering a cloud. This isn't right is it?

New Partner - FlyByWire - A320 will be in the Marketplace tomorrow. That's awesome. Probably the reason Aerosoft is skipping the development of their A320 for now.

Wondering if anyone else is observing this with the constant speed props like C208, TBM, Mooney? Full prop RPM and low MP seems to give a lot more drag (realistic) and it's making pattern work a lot smoother for me. Could be placebo though. Thoughts?

I've run into an issue with Navigraph flight plan importation. I normally create my initial plan with SimBrief, then import it into Navigraph for final editing and choosing of SIDs, IAPs, etc. Trying out the C208b to see how the update adjustments have affected it, I followed my normal procedures and did a test flight, using the PS GTN750 mod. Half way through the flight the flight path disappeared entirely from the Nav window of the MFD. I could still see it in the VFR window, but the AP wasn't following the plan. Checking the approach in the GTN750, I found the entire approach procedure was missing from the flight plan. I then attempted to insert it manually, …

I have been frustrated so many times when big updates from Asobo don’t work for whatever reason. In addition to making a copy of the Community folder and then deleting contents from that folder, I turn off my virus checker and firewall. Then after installing the update, I just have to remember immediately restart my computer, and then turn the virus checker and firewall back on. So far, this has worked every time. Feel free to correct me if this isn’t a safe procedure, but at least has worked today and in the past. Cheers!

I am being a bit lazy regarding all the sliders in MSFS control settings. I confess to being confused, especially without reading about them. However, I am interested to know if a throttle axis can be adjusted so that the first 10% of travel is neutral, thereby creating the idle point at a higher point in the travel. In FSUIPC this was possible, and the "neutral" travel could be used to activate reverse throttle in those aircraft where reverse is activated by lowering the lever past the idle point. I am wondering if all of these sliders allow for such a setting.

Here's a dopey question. How do I get the CJ4 radios to respond? When I set a frequency, then go look at the display, they never change. They're always showing as 108.00 on the display no matter what I put in. Same thing with the ADF, it always shows 890 when I change the setting using the panel.

This morning I started up MSFS; I got as far as the update page from the Microsoft Store. After 5 tries, I still was unable to update because the screen froze up. Each time I tried to update the screen froze up. Is there another way to update MSFS?

Hi, is it planned to update the detailed airports in the premium edition? As far as I can see on pictures, they have no acurate taxiway markings or stand numbers etc. So what I can see is only acurate buildings. Will that be changed? The Nice airport that has been updated looks amazing.

The airport icon is always on screen, floating around with an arrow pointing behind the plane with distance. How do I get rid of this? I’ve had this issue before and rectified it, but now forget how to get rid of this unbelievably annoying icon.

So Just flight is supposedly coming out with both planes, but the turbo arrow probably first. Which one to get? The turbo seems not that different from the PA28, which is great plane. It will be discounted though for owners of the PA28. How does the Warrior fit into the GA lineup between the Pa28, the A36 and the Mooney? What’s your preference?

I'm mainly interested in the G1000 and G3000. Are they working in the new version? How about the Mods for the planes, like A36 turbo, 152, etc?

Am I alone in not getting the weather radar to work with WT 3000 mod (ver. 0.7.1) after yesterday's patch, I have tried it in both TBM and Longitude?

...maybe someone else recalls it? Some time ago i used a "mod" that removed the dirt/bugs from the TBMs windshield. After some time off now, i can't find it anymore. I am getting freezes either at loading screen or once airport is loaded in sim since update. Sim works fine without anything in Community. So problem is Community. Challenge is figuring out which mod(s) are causing the crash. I thought I would start this thread in case anyone identifies a mod that is not compatible with SU4. So far haven't identified one but perhaps someone has?

I noticed that the Glass cockpit refresh rate setting has considerable impact in FPS, in my case more than 20% diference from low to high, flying the B747. So my question is, which are the consequences of setting it at low ?

Hi, is it true, that msfs comes only with 80GB after the update? How Asobo handled that to reduce it by more than 50 per cent and still have the same features available? Do you think in that case a 500GB SSD would be enough for MSFS plus addons and OS on the same drive? Would MSFS benefit out of a 7000MB/s SSD?

I've been using XBox Game Pass to play the standard version for several months, but plan to buy the Premium Deluxe version outright, then cancel my Game Pass since I don't use it for anything else. (I was part of that long thread earlier, so I know which version to buy that would be truly stand-alone.) Hope this is not really a broken part of the sim. At the moment, I cannot get the "World" screen to recognize the ICAO of additional addon airports. That is to say, addon airports that are not in the default simulator. Thus, one cannot start at one of those additional addon airports. (Maybe other functions are missing as well.) My tests have to do with a number of addons for Papua New Guinea – a place where the additional addons are important. Further, at first glance, it appears that Asobo have changed something about the terrain and vegetation fit with the addon airports (in Papua New Guinea at least).
