Did something change with the world map? I'm sure i was able to pan the map in the past with the mouse, but I don't seem to be able to now. I am able to zoom to details and zoom with the mouse wheel, but I still can't pan. Is there some other setting I need to use to pan the map? What's going on? Thanks

Suddenly, after dozens of flights over many days, my Assistance settings all revert to EASY - I knew about that so fixed it before I flew Then, when trying to slow down after landing - I found that my control settings for CH Pedals had lost their settings for the toe brakes but retained the settings for rudder inputs. Yes - these problems occurred after using Content Manager! These problems were identified to ZenDesk/Microsoft weeks ago but nothing seems to be done to fix them. Are they resolved in SU7 HotFix beta?

Okay well is it just me or does MSFS2020 developers selling us bad addon sceneries and aircrafts. I understand the sim is new and it will be years before we get great developers that can make scenery addons and aircraft addons that have the eye candy and blends well with MSFS2020 mantra. its seems to be that addon developers now are porting everything and anything from preparv4-5 to MSFS2020 and the scenery airports look horrible no eye candy and virtucol just put out the Embrear170-175- which i bought and it was a disaster of an aircraft unflyable and a port over from FSX and preparv4-5. I am not trying tryinmg to beat up there work but it seems to me that this is an att…

Ther latest RSP development update on the R44 is out, confirming it's using the Fred Naar flight mode, showing the AirlandFS app that provides config and external flight model (with editable config file). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ampjXwD0B9g The bigger news thought is that the 1.0 Alpha release date is now confirmed for Wednesday 15th at 9AM GMT on flightsim.to They've concentrated on flight model initially so lots of work still to do on cockpit modelling and sound but they will be including their roadmap with the release.

Can some one please tell me that they can get any TACAN beacons to work in MSFS? I have the Mb 339 and it wont tune TACAN. Nothing works? I dont believe any TACAN channels are active in MSFS? Please tell me if I am wrong? They are pushing the Starfighter now, but it uses TACAN and I dont think we can use TACAN to navigate? This makes MSFS Military sims redundant insofar as TACAN nav is concerned. Thanks for any help. Regards

As someone experienced in the field of photography, I fully understand the meaning of "depth of field." But as far as MSFS goes, I cannot for the life of me see any difference whatever between the Off and Ultra settings for depth of field. Can someone provide me a screenshot or perhaps direct me to a YouTube video that shows the difference? Is the difference perhaps limited to screenshots taken with the drone camera? My primary concern is how the depth of field setting affects graphics quality from the external, behind-the-plane view of the aircraft and the surrounding scenery (rather than from the drone camera). Thank you much!

Wow I was just flying around my RL home airport, and yes over my house as well. We are having a pretty significant snowfall here KIZG. But the ceiling is 2000' variable down to 500' with light snow. Well that is what I just flew through in FS2020 in the fantastic H145. It was snowing lightly in the sim and the ground was partly covered by snow as I flew up toward my house up the valley snow cover turned full including fresh snow on the trees. The heli canopy iced up a bit but not completely as I had pitot heat and anti icing on. The realism was stunning the sun even peeked through at times exactly like real wx at my house. Then it socks in pretty hard and s…

Purchased (10.49 Euro) the Taburet Washington & Oregon Powerlines. I lived in that area for 40+ years and did a lot of skiing and bicycle riding under those lines and along the right of ways. I guess I was expecting a little too much realism with this MSFS addon? All I see flying a couple hundred feet above the Tacoma Narrows powerline crossing ( a mile wide with cables at 260' AGL at each pylon) is a series of white marker balls - each about 20' (yes twenty feet) from the previous and the next. In real life the balls are 406' apart over the water and 116' apart over the residential area and invisible (in google earth pro on a 1080p monitor) at a distance of 3…

Is there a VFR moving map that can be displayed on a second monitor that shows all the places of interest? While you are flying. Thank You Bill McCracken

Hi All, Apologies if this has been discussed already since the SU7 release, but I’ve noticed that the nightlighting seems to have reverted to more/brighter sepia at a distance than we had in SU6. In SU6 the sepia was toned down and the individual ground lights were visible out towards the horizon, even from about FL300 — It was glorious! While flying yesterday (down the Gulf towards Dubai) all I saw was very bright sepia lighting on either side of me and no individual lights, exactly how it looked pre-SU6. Really awful. I checked the release notes again and for SU7 they explicitly mentioned that the sepia had been made less prominent in this release (w…

I won't normally do this, but this freeware water fix is too good not to share. At first, I thought, ah what the he||, I'll check it out. WOW, I was blown away at what a difference it made. Anyways, here's the link to all of the author's water fixes. Truly payware quality. Sorry, I don't have many good pictures of it, was too busy flying lol.

It is very difficult to enter a flight plan on the G100nxi by using the inner and outer knobs and the mouse. Is there a way that this can be tied into the keyboard so you can just type in the information? Roy

SU7 might be a red herring but it feels since that update the amount of updates pushed through flightsim.to has significantly slowed down. I have tons of freeware and felt like every time I logged on there was a new update for something. Anyone else feel the same? I mean I'm not complaining or anything its just an observation.

In my content manager I am showing a Deluxe upgrade update and I am also showing a Premium upgrade update. Deluxe installed is 2.21GIB and Premium installed 2.47GIB. From day one I have purchased and only used the Premium. Can I delete the Deluxe Installed portion without any problems?

And Microsoft/Asobo has dedicated a forum just to discuss the public beta for this: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/c/decupdateflight/295 This is interesting, maybe all future public/opt-in betas will be like this. Edit: This is not an official update for MSFS. Downloading it can cause more problems/grief for you, especially if you aren't a technical person. This is just a beta test for a possible hotfix, so Microsoft/Asobo can get feedback from the community on the hotfix. If you aren't a technical person, you may want to wait for the official update, which should be released at a later date, after this beta test has concluded.

.... is I can start fresh. I don't have to use Flight1's convoluted DRM system for installing or re-installing software (eg. OpusFSI and Reality-XP). In MSFS, simply extract the compressed add-on file to the Community folder and its done. Simple. Quick. Easy.

It's out now. Once again, amazing scenery. IMO, because they are able to model the landside areas to the same degree as the airside areas, I think they have surpassed FT and FB in scenery design. And that's a pretty high bar to clear. I have to say @FilbertFlies didn't even do it justice...lol. EGPF Glasgow Airport - Microsoft Flight Simulator - Orbx (orbxdirect.com)
