Hi all, starting to really enjoy the CJ4…I’m starting to get to grips with the fms but one thing I can’t seem to find is once I have my flight plan dialed in, is there something like a prog. page somewhere where I can see distance to destination..not next waypoint but destination, For the life of me can’t seem to find it in the fms? I feel like it’s right in front of my face and I’m just simply missing it.

Hi: I am having difficulty finding the correct setting to program the “ALT UP” and “ALT Down” on my Autopilot…I have the HDG settings ok, but what do I choose for up and down? No choice seems to be present to choose! (Lots to learn!)…Thanks, Steve

It’s actually really really good. Sure, it’s a game. But a really good one. Great way to unwind, and it looks fantastic. I’m not getting hung up on the realness of it, is there rpm too high, no oil warm etc etc…. I just take it as it is, a great bit of fun 🙂

If you are running Windows 11, be careful with the recent Cumulative Update (KB5007262). My MSFS crashed to desktop after 5 to 10 minutes running in any active flight. I can confirm that on my system since I experienced the same situation twice in the last few days. The first time was last Friday, in which I mistook the CTD was caused by the motherboard drivers I updated at the same time. Yesterday I had the Windows Cumulative Update installed alone, which consequently led to the same MSFS CTD scenerio after less than 10 minutes running. Luckily, both CTDs were fixed by restoring my OS drive (just Windows, excluding MSFS) from the latest back…

I love flying the F/A-18, and the way the cockpit looks. A lot of it seems to almost work. I wonder, can any of the missing avionics be implemented? For example, a working Air to Air or Air to Ground radar?

Hi, I was trying the experience of record something to facebook with geforce experience. I click connect, start session, and the program asks to fill my facebook account plus password. Indeed I cannot fill anything in both spaces. It seems that keyboard is not working to fill something. Solutions?

I'm starting a fresh topic because this might otherwise get lost in the mess of other weather-related debates. So, I've had the rare opportunity to do some flights this morning. I noticed a micro-update via the Steam client before I loaded the sim, as indeed I have seen several other micro-updates since SU7. Could anyone please confirm if your callsign and flight number doesn't save again? I am unable to get this to work today, it's calling my tail on a Skywest flight. Wondering if it's me or if they did more server side updates that possibly hosed this functionality again.

Incredible addon just as grand as it was for X-Plane.... so customizable, works fabulous on airliners ...adds in all the sounds Asobo "forgot"... ie, reverer roar that changes with engine power, wind, flap levers, touchdown shake and rattles, runway thumps etc... just absolutely the best, works easy, no performance hit and is just so darn good..... congratulations to the team at FSRealistic ....

I've been experiencing big stutters when on short final. This has been happening at default airports into larger US cities like SFO, but also smaller cities like Columbus. Is anyone else experiencing this and if so, what do you find is a cause and how do you fix it? Taking off out of 3rd party airports and large cities is fine. I am just experiencing this on approach. For what it is worth, my specs are in my sig and I have been using the Google mod of late. I've seen since SU7 a couple of unwelcome behaviours : - Long pauses and stutters. I almost eliminated them by reducing the LOD at SU4 level (!) but I had to abort a taxi+take-off with the DC- 6 in Venice today because of a staccato fest, and had a couple of long pauses landing in Camau,Vietnam with the Porter. - Without the new rendering channel, the DC-6 cockpit is less smooth than it was - the camera maps seem unstable. I have the feeling that setting a camera angle through the customization procedure for one aircraft carries the ALT-X content over to other aircraft.

Hi there! I am pretty new to MFS so forgive me if this is a simple fix, I just can't seem to find it. I have tried searching for an answer but couldn't find anything. The problem I am having is on the ground when I'm trying to taxi, it's like the steering is automatic. It will literally follow the taxi routes, but not always the ones I'm expecting it to. Any attempt to steer myself just fights against it. I don't use any AI piloting but I've made sure that all the AI pilot options are turned off that I can see, and I've had a check through some of the other options like accessibility, but I can't seem to find any way to disable this so that I can steer myself. …

Good Day, For some reason, all of the pavement on the airfields is missing. As much as I like a grass strip, I would like to have the airport textures displayed properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Currently running AMD 3600X with a RTX 2060 Super and 2x 8GB of DDR4 Ram. Ive watched some comparisons if I did an upgrade on my CPU but without a 3090 etc there’s no noticeable improvement. Would a doubling of RAM to 32Gb help or is this a case of save up and get a 3090 and then new CPU as well. This could be years away!! what am I trying to achieve, just a general improvement around settings and shuttering / lag at higher end spec.

I know this has been covered before. However the instruments have appeared in the external view of my new installation of the sim. I have gone into the settings to disable them and there is no longer an option in the camera settings to disable the HUD in external view. Anyone got any ideas as to what may have happened and how to remedy the situation?

Anyone else has problems starting MSFS today? It was slow all day to launch for me, typically taking 5 minutes or so. Tonight, it doesn't load at all. I managed to get a pop-up window that says they are synching data and should be done soon, but I've waited for 20 minutes and it doesn't go anywhere. Peter

after last update i can no more install neu Bush Trips. they show in community folder but not in the sim?? after having problem loading the sim i deleted Local Cache and most probably something to much. reinstall the whole MSFS did not solve anything

MSFS was just updated, downloading mandatory fixes (694MB) now through installation manager. Yes, I opted in the coming beta flight but wasn't this supposed to start only Dec 6? Early start, anybody else? Edit v1.21.17.0 now, additional 4.4GB on Content Manager...

I only recently started discovering the bushtrips (and they are amazing). When I flew my first bushtrip the flightplan was loaded into the Working Tilte G1000 NXi and I could just follow it in NAV mode and enjoy the scenery. In the latest version of the G1000 NXi it is not loaded anymore. As far as I understand, with the bushtrips the flightplan is not loaded into the GPS intentionally (to make it harder) and that it previously was loaded into the G1000 NXi was a bug of this mod which was corrected with the latest update. I know that I can enter the flightplan into the G1000 myself (which would be very tedious with the many user waypoints) and I also know…

Is it even possible to load a flight plan without going to main menu? I know in fsx you can press flight planning on the top bar to access the flight planning page where you can load or save a flight plan.
