Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi all, I would like to simulate a walk-around of the FBW A320N while I'm waiting for the aircraft to refuel and for passengers to board. What is the easiest way to achieve this using the MSFS camera system / mouse? Is it possible to simulate walking out the flight deck door and down the jetway stairs? Appreciate any advice. Hi all, Anyone using WidevieW in MSFS ? I am using MSFS only on my server with one wide front view of 2x 4K 43”. Zoom at 0.60 to “fix” the fisheye as much as possible. My left view pc has 1x 4K 55” and shows a non stretched view. My dilemma is if I am able to connect the slightly stretched left side of the front view to the non stretched left view… In P3Dv5 I have a Wideview stretch fix that MSFS does not have at this moment. Before buying an extra MSFS + WidevieW I was hoping that perhaps one of you has tried it or is using it . Thanks, Gerard Missing my left view …..

Having finally finished my fresh re-install of MSFS, one of the two issues I have is an 'orange peel' effect on my screen. I'll add a screenshot when I can get Game Bar to behave and record one. Essentially though, it's a little similar to the complaints of pixelated clouds, tiny and faint mottling all over the screen but most obvious against a blue sky. This does not happen during the sim's start-up nor on any of the menu or pre-flight screens, only after the flight has loaded. I figure it's something in the graphics settings which has changed since my previous install but I don't know what to try changing. Ideas?

Hi does anybody get this at all just occasionally sound gets distorted for a second or two this can be the ambient sounds or the air traffic control voice only happens for about a second seems to have a slight pause the same time and flying on the VR headset it actually seems to crash the VR and I have to reload the headset does also occur in 2-D as well though. On Windows 11 just wondering if it’s an MSFS or /driver issue or a hardware issue no sound issues reported if I run any performance checks on Windows 11 and all drivers up-to-date. New PC so I’m always a bit paranoid that the hard ware is faulty It’s very intermittent thanks all

Something that is really became blatant after using Tobii, is the fact that with nearly all payware sceneries-airports, I am loosing around 10-12fps, the worst I had was with NZA Hobart, looks great, but will cut my fps by two thirds. Flying over most freeware airports, setting to high, 5120X1440 HDR, with the A32NX, I am getting a stable 32-38fps. The bottleneck on my laptop is the CPU, it's a 9900K and I can't change it because there is nothing better for this socket, Guess I will wait for the next gen Clevo and put a stop in buying non-plane addons for now. Do you also have the same issue?

Hey all. After latest update, the mouse-over top toolbar is constantly visible. Before it normally only showed when moving mouse. Has anyone experienced this, or know the solution ? Thanks.

While In World Map with just a Departure and Arrival airport specified I try to add waypoints to complete the route I want to fly. I click on a waypoint or a navaid (black triangle or black star) and place the cursor on ADD which puts a white border around the ADD box and I click and the waypoint/navaid is added to the route. Other times (in the same sim session with the same waypoint/navaid I do the same procedure and see the white border but the waypoint is NOT added to the route. The same thing happens with REMOVE - sometimes I can remove a waypoint and other times when I click on REMOVE (which has a white border around it) nothing happens and the route …

VATSIM has announced they will not support X-Box for the time being. So for those who are worried about the casual X-Box gamers infiltrating VATSIM, it's not happening any time soon. Also, if you are annoyed by the X-Box gamers in multiplayer, just disable multiplayer traffic, and connect to VATSIM. You will get the normal orderly VATSIM traffic, but of course, you gotta also obey VATSIM rules and VATSIM ATC.

I tried starting MSFS in normal and safe mode and nothing would change the fact that the Nav globe would not stop spinning. I used the ICAO code in lieu of point and click. When the AC loaded, I was confronted with a spinning cockpit, spinning exterior...constant vertigo.. I thought that my BTQ was disconnected from the USB hub ..nope all peripherals were switched on... When I went to the outside view and the showcase view it dawned on me... Hey, this acts like when I'm using the controller in showcase.. I hope this is the appropriate forum to discuss my query. After the most recent update, about 2 weeks ago which lasted almost three hours to download and install I noticed a few things that changed in my Flight simulator. One was the inability to control my plane while on the ground. It woud accelerate as if it was taking off and I could not steer on the ground. The second problem was that some displays that were corrected when MSFS came out cannot be removed anymore because the file is no longer there. Have not flown this in awhile, but fired it up today and the airspeed indicator (glass gauge) is not correct. The speed in the flight display will read 150, and the gauge on the right side barely says 80??

This continues to be a frustrating topic for a number of simmers, in particular those using Addon Linker (135200 users worldwide). Whenever we buy an addon from these distributors, we have a very limited choice to install our payware: Contrail will allow you to create numerous libraries, hence you can at least put your software in a folder where they belong, but will create a subfolder "MSFS" in it. I made the suggestion to allow a direct install into a precise location (i.e. "airplanes"), without subfolder, to the distributor explaining the reasons: no response. You can of course remove the subfolder, but then your Contrail app will detect all your products as…

It's been quite awhile now and I wait eagerly for the A2A Piper Cherokee and Comanche and the Beechcraft VTail Bonanza. Anyone heard any news?

I have constant red bars in the top graph, presumably telling me the cpu/gpu is not keeping up, or something else on the system is causing these blips. In the sim everything is completely smooth. I have my monitor set at 60Hz and in MSFS Vsync is on at 30. I have even set every setting to low in the sim and still I see red bars and the GPU bottom graph is yellow with red lines. The 'MainThread' and 'CoherantGTUIThread are green by why do the top and bottom graphs have red lines in them? As I said, everything in the sim is smooth even with everything set to Ultra, but can anybody explain what the red lines in the graph are telling me?

Hi, I’ve been playing flight sims since fs 2000. More recently I was using the pmdg 737 on FSX. Recently moved to FS20 and trying to get the auto pilot to work but none of the controls seem to be having any effect. I’ve followed tutorials on YouTube just in case I’m missing something but can’t find a solution. Everything is updated to the current versions. Experiencing this issue with both the airbus and 747. Haven’t tried any of the lighter aircraft yet. Any suggestions would be most appreciated

This is the best landing Video I have seen so far PARO rwy 15 . This is using 737. But its got instructions for A320 as well (Its when you bring down the gear). Perfect, Easy Peasy! Although its from Earlier Sim, It's educational for MSFS 2022.

Objects poping even on ultra settings.

The nightmare started with the WU3. And since then, I have not found a solution to the CTDs that occur on each flight. Everything starts well, then during the flight (generally after 30 minutes or so) MSFS crashes with the same 0xc0000005 code. I have tried everything, among others: 1 / Reinstalling MSFS 2 / Emptying the Community folder except FBW A320. 3 / Set the CPU and RAM to their original values. Needless to say, all the drivers are up to date and my PC passes OCCT and RealBench tests without any problem. I will not be reinstalling W10 since I assembled my new PC less than 3 months ago.
