I would love for the Transcontinental Airway System to be a mod. It was a navigational aid deployed in the US during the 1920s, predating the use of radio navigation. This map shows that there were 15 major hubs, each hub fed by local US Post Offices and the Railway Mail Service. Every 10 miles there were Arrow shaped concrete pads poured on the ground pointing towards the next heading, with a 53 ft tower and rotating beacon atop. I use FTSim+'s WWise sounds for several of my MSFS aircraft. FT just started developing a new package for AIG traffic, named "AiTRSP". Thought some of you might find it interesting. As far as I can tell he's only included the A320 CFM so far, with plans to replace 40+ AIG engines with WWise. A screenshot from his site is worth a 1000 words. I think I might wait until a few more engines are included before using it, but if I find myself bored with free time who knows. I'll definitely use it eventually. Is there something going on with SU8 and mountain flying? In the FBW over the alps its justs a complete stutter fest? I've done some research and a few posts suggest disabling the free mesh which I have covering German, Italian and Swiss alps but its not better. I'm using the latest development version. Another post suggested the new Pushback tool (with pre planned pushback) is causing issues, just tonight I noticed a new update for this on Flightsim.to. I've updated but made no difference. Any ideas?

Hi all, I don't want to choose transition/via when planning approach. But FMC forces me to choose transition/via. I have this problem on all planes. For example; I'm making an RNAV18 approach to KBML airport (with no transition/via) from the north. But it forces me to use transition with HURDS fix. How can I solve this problem?

This is recurrent.. 😕 A true nuisance when a guy comes home expecting to do a nice FBW hop 😕

hi all, so, somehow, I seem to be the only one who doesn't know how to be able to look around (without head tracking, cause with it it works) in showcase wing views in the FBW a320 specifically. I checked the camera.çfg but I couldn't figure it out. Any tips? cheers vic

Installed AIG Traffic addon about 2 weeks ag and I'm loving it. Downloaded about 25 flightplans/liveries initially. Today I open AI-Manger in the hopes of adding/downloading additional liveries and I don't see a database under Flightplans-Online, the list is empty. I can see the list of installed liveries but not the online database. I've re-logged in to AIG Forum/Alph India Group Forum/AVSIM-Library (and the show me a s being logged in) and still there's no database. Anyone have any ideas?

G'day everyone, Just toying with some ideas here to consider if it's worthwhile (or even possible) to have a second PC to run Flight Sim generally. I'm still on P3D for the PMDG aircraft but all the rest is now on MSFS. Over the last year or so I've added so many external USB devices that my relatively new PC struggles to see them all. I often have to unplug/replug rudder pedals or the mouse after Windows has started to get it to recognise all the peripherals. I realise that this problem is down to me and my love of extra bits and pieces, but even with two powered USB hubs my PC is close to freaking out. Has anyone run dual systems and …

I've had a few occasions where the autopilot on the FBW A320 disconnects by itself. When it happened, it was always in "selected" heading/speed mode (not being directed by MCDU, but what I have selected manually on the FCU). Today it happened while practicing RNAV approaches (which aren't currently modeled in the FBW A320 completely) hence the "practice". I'm tracking along the approach, I'm not happy and decide to turn around by switching from managed heading mode to "selected": Spin the heading knob roughly 120 degrees to the left and initiate a left turn to try again. As my performance dropped dramatically after I installed AIG, I would like to uninstall it but I cannot find an uninstall option in either Control Panel or in AIG's folders. Searching on AIG's forum didn't lead to success either. Can any of you tell me how I can safely uninstall AIG and get the "AI Aircraft Traffic Density" in the Traffic settings of MSFS2020 back again? I’m getting very large terrain spikes around Asobo’s upgraded KFHR Friday Harbor that finally resolve themselves completely as I come in to land. Strangely, I have a second installation of MSFS on my old rig and with what I believe to be identical settings I get no spikes on the old machine. Strange...anyone else see this and/or know what setting governs when landmass snaps into place? Thanks, Steve

Having finally finished my fresh re-install of Windows and MSFS, an on-going issue since the previous installation is still present - any time there is an overlay on the screen, it introduces stuttering. By 'overlays' I mean if I use Game Bar (to take a screenshot, record video, display fps etc) or if I change system volume (and the volume level display comes up in the top left of my screen). The stutters immediately stop when I close Game Bar (clicking anywhere on the screen) or when the volume display fades away. All of sudden I can't select a starting point from the other side of the world. I start the sim, click on WORLD MAP and the world shows up with the Western Hemisphere in view. I can't rotate the World to show Europe, for example. I was able to do this by left click and hold on my mouse and move the mouse and the world would turn. All of a sudden this does not work. I can't make it move no matter what I do. The mouse works properly in other programs like Little Nav Map for instance. This is the only program that is affected. Any hints?

I'm finding SU8 is stuttering every 2 to 3 seconds when taxiing. The white scrolling circle appears in conjunction with the stutters. It smooths out when airborne. I have reset my all of my settings but it did not seem to cure it. I am using the same settings as for SU7 and that was very smooth. Anyone else seeing this? Stu

The market place purchase will not appear in my hanger of aircraft selections, how do I solve this problem please!!

Wondering what everyone thinks the best looking default airport is (so those interested don't have to go downloading or...paying for scenery.) Friday Harbor and Courchevel are both very impressive, but I'm going to say Gibraltar, where you can wander right into to terminal waiting area. What do you think?
