Since the last thread got closed for a ridiculous reason, we'll try again here... At work today I snapped a few shots of the area depicted by the texture in question. Below is the PMDG screenshot posted before, and then a few real pics: My pics are all much closer than the screenshot was, but I'd say the PMDG textures are pretty good. (I don't think this area is *actually* intended as a footrest, as you can see what eventually happens when it's used as such - this was a beat-up old -800. Hi folks, I wanted to use the Working Title CJ4 today but had white screens and/no FMS clickspots and just a real mess. I decided to remove it and all other addons in my community folder to check for conflicts, but weirdly the default MSFS CJ4 isnt working either with nothing in my community folder and has exactly the same problem - what is going on do you think? it’s the latest version of MSFS and the Carenado Seneca’s working fine in it. Hi, Ive had my Bravo Thottle Quadrant for 2 weeks now and today I've noticed that my furthest rocker switch was set to landing lights on and off, but now it does nothing... Plus when I remove the mapping for it, the landing lights on is still showing as active with no mapping to it.. meaning the box is having a grayish color like it's set to on with nothing mapped to it. Anyone else have dad this issue. All other switches and axis are fine

I am looking fwd into two upcoming udates for MFS, the Iberian Peninsula WU and the "Soaring" add-on that they're working on together with another 3pd. Using a glider in any flight simulator calls for the chance to use it with our real PNDs being it tablet or mobile or dedicated, running any of the available softwares that glider pilots use. IRL I use mostly XCSoar, sometimes it's TopHat derivate, or LX2000. But in order to be able to use any of these with the sim we need that some app get's and exports in NMEA format the various parameters. Is there aleady such an addon ? I tried to find but found none...

Is there any way to get into Content Manager OUTSIDE of MSFS2020 ? I found on YouTube a very quick way to reinstall 2020, but it requires going to Content Manager to reinstall - but can't even start 2020. Dave Hinson

Hi I'm hoping that someone has the 'gem of a solution' to my confusion on manipulating the controls of the Asobo 747 and A320neo I am finding that for some, the left hand mouse button lights up the control, but no other buttons seem to be able to manipulate it; others work sometimes but not other times. I've tried the default mouse settings, I've tried altering the 'secondary action' and 'tertiary action' designations of the middle push and right hand buttons but it remains a bit of a lottery whether the controls work or not. Can anyone walk me through the process to do a complete and clean uninstall of this program? I was one of the users that ran into all sorts of install problems when this first released so I ended up giving up and waiting for the patch. Today I tried to install again and everything went great...It actually brought up the content manager and downloaded everything....wonderful! I went to do my first flight....flight went to load, got to the end of the blue bar and then crash to desktop. I tried reloading MSFS 2020 and now it just hangs at the checking for new content or the adjust your experience screen (minus the stuck blue bar this time). I'v…

I haven't flown the DC6 in awhile, and this morning fired it up, and the 430 GPS was stuck on setting frequency. Nothing else on the GPS worked. I realized that I had added the GTN 750 mod into the community folder in order to add it to some Carenado Aircraft. I removed that mod, and now the DC6 GPS is working again. FYI

A number of my favourite secondary airports either don’t have ILS or it’s not in MSFS. other than a visual is there any way to approach the runway without ILS? I assume you can work out if the final point is 10nm and your at 2800ft where you should be at every NM out but that doesn’t help with left and right. Is this VNAV which everyone is waiting on or is there currently a way to do this??

I'm wondering if anyone has run into this before and has a fix. It's only come up for me in the past couple of weeks or so (maybe after the last update?). When sitting in any cockpit (aircraft doesn't matter, either default aircraft or add-on), as soon as I enter the cockpit the camera very slowly pans downward toward my legs. It's so slow it took me a few minutes to realize what was happening when I realized my view wasn't what I wanted, but now I can just sit and watch it happen while I keep my head still. I have a full running AIG system. I also have a full running PSXT/Real Traffic system using the AIG database. I have been going back and forth between those two systems trying to figure out which I like more I like that AIG incorporates the boarding ramps attached to the planes (mostly). But I also like that PSXT/Real Traffic gives more real time results. Graphically I can easily see that neither is perfect, and I am not trying to start discussion of whether the faults are the apps or the sim. I realize that both systems have to rely on the sim for things that don't always work as they should. So I am soliciting opinions of which you like more and why. Not looking fo…

Hi, my sim has been running fine until I opening it this morning. I loaded it up and now it's just hanging right when the music starts to play and there is a spinning circle on the button right. It ask me if I should open in safe mode or normal and I have chosen both options but same results. Update..removed my item from the community folder and it's seems to be loading

I've seen threads about this on the MSFS forums but no indication that Asobo recognizes it as an issue and those who've also experienced it haven't yet offered a fix that works for me. One guy said he got them to go away but changing my driver settings to default didn't work for me. It's even worse in the snow

This is the most dishonest thing that ever happened to me with Microsoft Flight Simulator, it's a rip-off and I am very disappointed. When the simulator first came out I decided to buy the "Game Pass" for a dollar a month mostly to see if my laptop could run the simulator.... I realized that it could and soon in the Marketplace they upload a promotion to do an "Upgrade" from Standard edition to premium Deluxe for something like "60USD". So i bought it.. So, I recently bought the Logitech Yoke/Throttle system. I see that there are 3 modes which gretly expands the functionality of the buttons. It seems that to use the 3 modes I have to use Logitech's programming. So how will this integrate with FS2020's controls setup? Obviously I don't know what to do or if I should do anything. Any suggestions. PS-What I am really interested in dong is using the yoke to steer while taxiing. But obviously the yoke is dedicated to the ailerons. I thought while I was on the ground, I could assign the yoke Mode 2 to rudders and then when I take off, switch back to Mode 1. Thanks, Dave

Following on from the directions for the eliminating the constant ATC “please expedite” commands, as provided earlier by Jim Brown and DJJose in the MSFS (2020) forum topic “ATC Voice Gone”, I did some additional experimenting and came up with a solution for those of us who have wished to vanquish ATC’s use of “decimal” and instead use “point”. Whilst trying to re-install the Spitfire (v1.5.25), I suffered a BSoD (connected or not, I don't know).
