Hi guys. Have just switched from the Stable version to the development version of the FBW A320. My issue is that my Honeycomb Bravo Throttles don't react as expected on the dev version. When they are at idle reverse turns on for example. 50% on the throttle is about idle in the sim so when i pull back too much on the throttle, the reverses engage. Is there a trick to getting these right? it was working fine in the stable version

I have not noticed it in the past, but today I was flying the Kodiak into a stormy area when I noticed that every lightning flash forward and below the aircraft is visible through the cockpit panel - as in, the lightning is INSDE the cockpit. Has anyone else noticed this since the last update?

I'm thinking of playing with the DL 1.78 / 2.25 settings in the NVCP. I have a 2K monitor - is the idea to run MSFS at 1080p then use the DL settings, or should I be running at 2K settings first to emulate 4K? Edit - what I meant was to run my desktop at 1080p then use the Deep Learning settings or is the idea to run the desktop at 2K then use Deep Learning? Who has experimented with this and can suggest some settings?

Has anyone tried it? $9.99 USD, so wouldn’t expect too much, but being a Cub it’s not like there are a lot of systems to recreate. I suppose if the model is good (which the photos appear it is) and it flies reasonably according to the numbers maybe a pretty good…

Hello, I am having issues with even getting past the installation manager. MSFS just says "Online Services are unreachable. Please check your internet connection. Online services will be disabled until connection is restored."

When I am flying in light default MSFS aircraft like the Cirrus, Cessnas and I hold the right click button to pan inside the cockpit, I keep hearing a slight clicking sound which after some looking into, when I am holding right click down in order to pan view, it is also turning the mag switch from "Both" to "Start" which in turn messes with some of the avionics and lights. I've gone into the controls options to try and find out what the right mouse click might be bound to but i cannot for the life of me figure out exactly what its bound to in order for it to be turning the mag switch whenever i am holding the right mouse button down to pan around. Dumb question, but what application allows one to modify the types of files in MSFS2020 like the panel cfg file? In FSX, they used to be common text files, but my PC doesn't know how to open or edit the files in the new sim.

Already a few threads on individual issues so it's about time we started a list. So I'll get things started: Opening Nav Log and starting the timer, the timer should still be running if you close the Nav Log widow (as opposed to minimising it) and reopen it later in the flight. But now the timer is reset to zero when the Nav Log is reopened.

The nxi has an 'obs' facility and a very useful 'visual' airport approach option. I cannot find the equivalent in the G3000 (TBM). Are they in fact available in the latter and I have simply overlooked them? If not, does anyone know if or when they are likely to be available. Failing that is it possible to install the nxi in the TBM? Thanks for any info...

Maybe someone can advise me here.. I have bought and installed FS from the MS Store and have directed the install to my SSD drive. For whatever reason, the installer has created a very long install path (d:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-1184541310-3117086562-348737596-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\), with the Community folder obviously even some levels deeper. Now when I try to put the new A320 mod into the community folder, several path/file names become so long (over 260 characters for some) that FS seems unable to read them. Anyway, the A320 mod does not seem to be installed. Would moving FS to another drive (and later move it back) …

After running the installer, FSRealistic works fine with the sim. But when I close it, it just disappears. Not in program files\program files x86, not on desktop or taskbar. The only way to open FSRealistic again is to run the installer. Any suggestions?

Oh well, looks like the MSFS2020 bug has finally bit me 😪. Was told I had to download yet another big set of files, but now I can't open MSFS. Went to MS Store as ordered and checked "reinstall" bet was sent to a large number of GamePass and XBox pages, but could not find and reinstall button. So, I suppose I will have to fully uninstall MSFS and reinstall. Any other choices ? Dave Hinson

Still a fairly basic vanilla install that I'm using. I've got no ILS freqs in my sim. This comes from Asobo right? I don't need Navigraph to have localizer freqs right?

Many moons ago I used Jeppesen Charts, but when Jeppesen closed it I never tried any simular product again. Since SimBrief is now the only flight planner I use, and since it is now integrated with Navigraph, when planning my FBW A320 virtual flights - "vlights" - I see a rather outdated AIRAC being selected for the planning, which implies manual editing of the flightplan, and integrates poorly with MFS and in particular the FBW FMS. So yesterday I "lost my mind" and bought a 1 month license !!! I'm currently using FsDreamteam's KORD v2 scenery. It's been awhile since they have done any update(specifically the taxiways around 9R/27L and after forum posts, it appears nothing is on the horizon. I'm fairly happy with the scenery but is there currently anything anyone could suggest that's out there that has today's real world layout. Thanks for the replies in advance.

Hello, Been playing a bit more lately and enjoying the sim after a somewhat long pause 🙊 but there is a little thing that i just don't like about the weather / season, it's the snow. Sure that problem will go away by itself in a few days/weeks but, for now, even if i change the date in the sim, most of the time on locations where there is snow in winter i end up with tons of snow everywhere, you can't even see the runway (even when it snows the runway is usually cleared withing hours of the snow stopping, at least in my region). 2 weeks ago i did a test to LSZA (Lugano Switzerland) and even part of the lake was covered with snow, that just never happens, no…

Way back after SU7 several, but not all, previously perfectly fine meshes started stuttering hideously. The Marketplace Switzerland mesh by FSDreamteam is one of them. Just a headsup to not buy this in the marketplace until reports online say the issue has gone away.
