Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

For some reason, I can no longer toggle my live weather on/off again. it's stuck in the off position. If I choose live weather from the drop-down window, it still stays turns off. also, I'm no longer able to select parking spots at airports. I can select the airport but when I want to zoom in and choose any parking, the selection menu disappears when I try to highlight it. Any suggestions? I remember with FSX we were able to delete the FSX.cfg and let it rebuild on next start up. Is that possible in FS 2020? Thanks for any help in advance

I am currently demoing AIG w/Real Traffic and PSXT. I find this to be the most realistic representation of traffic, gate assignments, etc. once you have everything set up and your liveries downloaded. My question is, is there a way to disable traffic while on approach like you are able to do in P3d and Ultimate traffic? Since I fly without default ATC, or on Vatsim there is usually a line of planes trying to land at large airports that make my TCAS go nuts. It would be nice to disable that traffic while trying to land. Currently, I just ignore the traffic but was curious if there are any solutions. Thanks!

InScene Heathrow includes a perfectly functioning VDGS electrical signage system. Displays your flight on tp of sign in LED digits, arrows guide you to be centered and also readout the distance to taxi forward in meters. When you reach the mark, it changes to STOP, and if you do so correctly it changes again to OK and finally goes blank, having done it's job. I'm wondering if this is available at any other addon airports? Thanks.

Sometimes (or most always?) the arrival airport METAR is present in the METAR dropdown off the toolbar at the start of a flight plan. Then it gets removed and local METARS along the way populate. Right now I do what some do, tune the arrival ATIS, but I'd rather just have it be accessible thru the dropdown after all it would be a piece of cake to do. For the first time today I noticed that my screen would get slightly distorted or tear when turning or panning and I am not sure what this could be from. My specs are in my sig and my settings seem to be good for what my specs are. Any idea what could cause this? It happens with or without vsync. If you need more info let me know. THanks!

Hi everyone. I've been having a recurring issue during takeoff/taxiing where the aircraft will want to veer to the left on its own. When I look closely, i see the rudder slightly moving to one side or the other without my input. When I try to counteract this and then neutralize the rudder, you can see in the video that it swings the opposite way. I have always had auto rudder disabled as well. On taxi too, planes feel very sluggish and if I twist my TCA airbus edition joystick for too long a period, the plane will be very slow to react to turning the other way. I saw something for Veroroutes on the front page. As someone who only flies online via Vatsim, can someone explain how this works? I took a quick look at their site but I am still not positive as to how it works or why I would use it if I am on Vatsim. Thanks!

I7-9700 CPU 16g ram RTX 2060 6gb vram I like to run games in 1440p if possible on higher end settings. What kind on FPS would i get for that in MSFS? TIA

Since the last Sim Update every time i try to link my navigraph account to the in-game charts app or the G3000 charts function MSFS crashes to desktop right after authenticating on the web browser.

MSFS lighting is really good, as is the new haze, but I would love to have heat haze in the sim for an extra bit of realism. Any clever developers out there who could do this? Anyone else think heat haze would be good?

I'm flying around the world in MSFS. So far in 80 flights or so I flown from Victoria BC to Capetown South Africa. My route is over the poles. The longest leg so far has been no more than 2 hours and I'd like to keep it that way. So how do I get from Cape town to the coast of Antarctica in short hopes. I was thinking I'd fly the F-18 and strategically place a few Aircraft Carries along a route. But I don't think there is a way of placing Aircraft Carriers where you want in MSFS 2020? My other though is that I'd use P3D V5 for this part of the journey! 🙄
