I was just at their forums this morning - nothing. I know they had been doing some US military contract work but no clue what they are up to now. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
March 7, 20224 yr Like Ryan said, no news, even from Scott, his last post is from last November, no communication from other dev as well. it's very weird
March 7, 20224 yr Unfortunately, I've reluctantly come to the conclusion that A2A is not currently active in pursuing development on the recreational side. It's been well over three years since they introduced a new aircraft for FSX or P3D. It's over 18 months since their last major development update. It's over a year since they released a patch or update for their FSX or P3D offerings. In the last few months even the vague "working on it" posts on the forums have ended, despite a lot of discussion among their customer base. I hope that the reality is that they are so busy on their commercial/military training side that they are focusing on that. They always seemed like nice people. I wish them the best. It would be nice though if they at least told us they had moved on.

Scott went from this : We just talked about that this morning. While we traditionally keep our cards close to our chest, we think this Comanche 250 may be different especially considering how quiet we've been. So the thinking is, sharing more of what we go through to Accu-Sim an airplane. Taking cameras more on my Comanche and posting dev updates. Is this what you were referring too? BTW I do miss making these vids. It was always a lot of fun. To nothing for 5 month Edited March 7, 20224 yr by bendead

March 7, 20224 yr Since we're discussing the possible demise of a highly respected flight sim developer, anyone have inside information regarding the disappearance of Eaglesoft Development Corp ? Like A2A they were once one of the best developers for business jets in P3D and FSX. Man, that Citation X was "something else" ! ! Quote

Only a 22-page-long thread that was started 6 months ago...https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=72920 It could just be that as per Scott's comment, that until they have made a breakthrough with developing for MSFS, there's nothing for them to say/show. March 7, 20224 yr Sometimes no news is good news. Except that a2a typically does little dev updates here and there. There was some thought to releasing it for civilian use but that hasn't happened. I'm sure there's more that I do not know about. You can bet if A2A made it for the military, it's a very detailed simulation and it likely took them many many hours to develop it and many more with continuing maintenance. My guess is A2A are letting things stew as to MSFS until the potatoes are well done. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
March 8, 20224 yr Well Milviz are gone too. But they basically told everyone. They've moved on to military contracts. A2A probably gone the same way. What are you talking about? Milviz is alive and well with multiple aircraft in the sim, and multiple aircraft on the slate to come....
