Reference post 102 with screenshot: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/tu-134-by-kai-31/389415/106 A standalone (3d model and code base) KLN90B GPS is coming soon for developers to use in their aircraft projects. From my understanding, one of the authors was the one who made the full fidelity module some may have used in FSX/P3D. So...watch that space or reach out to the author.

https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/general-discussion-news-and-announcements/252935-03jun23-your-weekend-update Just pasting the bits related to the EFB and 777: PMDG Universal Flight Tablet:We did not push a build to beta testing this week as planned, as we have a few more details that needed to be tamped down. The tablet team is eager to hand this to the betas however, so it should happen quite literally any day now.PMDG 777 for MSFS:The 777 continues to be adapted based upon the things we are learning while moving the 737s into Marketplace and into the Xbox community. Those lessons indicated that a refactoring of how we mange click-interfaces for the cockpit w…

OK. Help is needed, please. I corrupted my Win10, while doing electrical work on some lighting in my house. Nothing that I could do to fix my Win10, after trying about 20 web based solutions. I gave up, did a Win10 reinstall. Which wasn't too bad really, it cleaned up a lot of mess from over the years. However, I'm left with reinstalling programs. All my old data is saved in a fold called Windows.old...in it, I see all my MSFS base program and my links to Add-on Linker. I copied this data to their exact locations as they should be. But then I realized I had no means to launch the sim. I went to the MS Store (which is in itself a nightmare fro…

There is a button on the left side of the yoke that is supposed to control electric rudder trimming and elevator trimming. When I hover with the mouse on this button a left/right wheel arrows and a hand-finger appear. However I get no effect at all when I click or when I turn the mous wheel. Any idea what is the problem? Note 1: I can trim by binding a joystick/axis to the trimming function, but my question is specifically about the physical button on the yoke Note 2: The switch trim on the overhead panel is on

Hi guys I've flown this bird once before, decided to hop back in for more intense use. I have an issue, I've powered everything up but rudder left right does nothing? I can see the rudders in the VC move and bindings in MSFS are all ok (like always) but the aircraft doesn't taxi left or right? Before Taxi Checklist calls for "Nose Wheel Steering ON" which it is. EDIT: Problem went away went I restarted the aircraft. I'm definitely feeling my way around some gremlins on the ATR, this is just one of them. Now if I could only sort out the Propeller controls using my Hotas Warthog! Despite watching upteen videos. The aircraft also doesn't shutdown went I pu…

Not sure how long ago this actuallyhappened but there is a new version of the official Garmin GTN/GTNXi Trainer (v3.6.4.0) with updated charts and Nav databases. (The new charts were valid until 01-Dec-22 and the Nav data 29-Dev-22) And seemingly to go with three new trainer there's also an updated version of the TDS GTN NXi plugin. Easy way to update both the trainer and TDS plugin in to use the TDS installer app which should show what you have currently installed and what you can upgraded to) (Also for people running more than one sim the RXP GTN (and GNS) plugins for XP and FSX/P3D have also been updated in the last few days and seen to play nice with th…

Ok, first an apology, this will be a bit of a rant, but im finding myself getting less and less interested in this sim by the day. To cut a long story short, I have this on both PC and Xbox but due to time downstairs ive been flying more on xbox lately. Before the last World Update I thought it had generally improved. Ive not picked it up in about a month or so and just decided this week to boot it up again. First off, I had a flight from Bradley Intl to JFK in the default A320. Flight started well, looked ok, live weather was functioning normally, but once I approached New York there were massive LOD issues, not just with photogrammetry but also with the genera…

I thought I'd pop this on here to help those who may find themselves in a similar situation to me without any solution. THE ISSUE: After starting MSFS, the loading stops at a page saying syncing data, and nothing else happens. I scoured the internet and forums and found plenty of suggestions, even from the official MS site which suggested returning the entire sim back to default (which seems to be a regular fall back position!) Jeez, what a crazy thing to have to do. Many other suggestions too, such as deleting specific folders etc. Anyway, I'm sure this may well be known by many, but nevertheless there will be others, not necessarily in the minority, who may not know abo…

Hi All, while we wait for PMDG to release its 777 I was wondering if there is a working 777 for the sim. I saw nothing but bad reviews of the Captain Sim but those were fairly old. If anyone has an update I would appreciate it. Thanks Phill Dant

Hi folks. Does MSFS still only use the last processor for the Main Thread? I had read about diverting all other work to processors other than the last and reserving the last for MSFS. Is this still relevent? Thanks .... Rob

MS intent of introducing the sim community to history legends suggests that one of these days we might hear about a B707 or B727 in development. There is no denying that these two aircrafts occupy a large space in the history of aircraft and aviation development. Let's hope that this is indeed the case. There is something about all analog instrument panels and the need to fly them a bit by the seat of the pants.

I'm in the throws of updating my rig and likely to jump across to Ryzen 7, in doing so, I will need to upgrade my MB. I'm just wondering if I may run into trouble reinstalling MSFS and Win10. All the original registries having been lost in relation to licencing and so forth, or does the sim only rely on your MS account and email? Thanks.

Not sure if there's a conflict issue on my end or an issue with the add-ons themselves. Two payware aircraft I have, have lost the ability to power on their avionics suite with their latest updates. Clicking the switch that should give power to the Garmins has no effect: 1. Carenado's PA28 2. Pilot Experience Maule M7-235 Not sure if this is an issue on my end or with these add-ons. Knowing how Carenado is I at first thought it was just them as I had no problem with avionics power before but with my just purchased Maule I may have a MOD conflict somewhere. Has anyone seen this issue with these two planes or any aircraft in general with a Garmin suite?😕 A…

Boeing has it's own FBW laws - C*u - and 737NG recorded a new video about how they're implemented in the default 787 in MFS, and leaving an hint for the upcoming PMDG 777. Hi, I have the thrustmaster airbus tca throttle quadrant. When I use the ATR the throttles do not respond at all. I've tried resetting them in the control setting, I've tried assigning an axis etc. They just don't respond. Even on the calibration page, the values on the right do not change when moving the throttles. If I switch to any other plane in the sim they work fine. It's as if the ATR doesn't detect them. I've updated the drivers/firmware. Does anyone know what's causing this issue?

Just curious what parts of the US people are flying in most lately. I realize I could have broken this down differently, but this is just how I decided to do it. For myself, it is usually Alaska lately, though I do fly in almost all areas fairly equally excluding the NE and Central US (not much in Kansas or Nebraska). If I had to choose one, I would probably pick Alaska for myself.

I first noticed whenever flying thru thin diffuse "clouds" (or fog or what have you) w/ my old 2070 Super that was the main thing that slammed the GPU. The same is true today w/ 3080Ti. What's fascinating is these types of "clouds" seem to be made w/ very fine particles, instead of 'voxels' which you can discern that 'voxel grid' appearance which some call "pixelation", and w/ these thin clouds you do not see the voxel grid effect you see from certain angles w/ other cloud structures. Look at the OSD on the lower left and note the GPU is maxed out, and it typically hovers around 45-60% of full loading (w/ how I lock the frame rate). These thin clouds appear to be cons…

...but man, am I sure happy I finally decided to show up. I recently just purchased the King Air, because the it's such a beautiful airplane, but the default avionics are giant meh. I haven't been so pleased with a sim purchase in quite some time. This flight deck is beautifully modeled and every button works and has a function. With the ease of a couple of switches, you can swap out between the 750, 530 and or just regular ole radios. It's the first plane in a while where it's going to require me to sit down and actually study how to operate this thing. I can't stress how happy am I with this plane and I'm definitely going to be purchasing their other planes. I'm sure I'…

I'm trying to set-up all the aircraft currently located/ airworthy at Temora YTEM, NSW Australia. I've managed to find all the Spitfires (MSFS), Tiger Moth, Wirraway and the Canberra, Sabre, Vampire, Meteor, and Boomerang (FXS) but so far I've been unable to locate a freeware version of the Lockheed Hudson. See: https://www.airforce.gov.au/community/event-participation/air-force-heritage-aircraft-fleet/lockheed-hudson If anyone knows of a suitable model could they let me know. For Static or flying duties. Thanks
