Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Not a hardware issue, per se. Elevator axis on my honeycomb alpha works intermittently. It's strange and frustrating as it was working a day or so ago just fine. In other simulators, it works just fine. When I push/pull the elevator axis in the sim settings doesn't move. Instead, it shows up as a button being pushed. How to explain? When you set a setting (like a button) in the sim, and then push the button in the settings, the button (Joystick Button 5 for example) will highlight in a white color when select it on or off. I am having issues running the Flight 1 Agent to download my purchased files. It gives me an Invalid Product Configuration error. I opened a ticket with F1 and they think it is security related. I don't even know how to troubleshoot. I can download from SimMarket just fine. Anybody else having this issue? Thanks!

Various aircraft: C150, C172, CJ4, C206, ... Moving the throttles on either my Airbus joystick or my Airbus throttle quadrant or via the mouse or keyboard (F3/F4) shows the throttle levers going forward in the sim but I get zero spooling up or increase in RPM. Devices are configured correctly since the sim throttles move with whichever device is moved. I have read numerous posts from simmers with the same problem but have not seen a solution. Hi, with the recent discussions on AI and all it may offer or take away in various industries and its impact on our society, any thoughts on what AI might do for our hobby flight simming? Could it offer some benefit that we haven't thought of yet? Maybe in future developments in software design or even hardware improvements?

Every time I start a flight or change aircraft I have to go into the weather settings and set the button to real time. I set it in options as a custom profile but it doesn’t work. How do I default to real time? thanks Phill Dant

I've lost the sound on COM 1 and COM 2 and can't figure out why. I put an ATIS freq in COM 1 but can't hear anything. I hear the aircraft running but no ATIS. I fly mostly the TBM so not sure if it's all aircraft or just the TBM. I've got sound settings all at 100%. Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong or why I can hear ATIS. Some may recall my earlier thread about MSFS having lost all settings. Back then at some point I just set it up again, which took me about an hour because fortunately the control profiles are stored seperately. Well, it happened again yesterday, it set everything up again, and today my settings are gone once more. I tried to launch the sim, it loaded eternally until i was killing it with the task manager. Upon second launch i am greeted with acessability settings and everything set to default. Anyone else with this problem? Are system settings stored somewhere where i can backup them? I am kind of reluctant to contact support because the last two times they were…

Hi, I have done a clean install on my Nvidia drivers with the latest version...Now IDK if its an issue with having any AI in the sim but for example if Im at KPHX (BMworld scenery) I have a nice locked frame of 30..it can go more like 45. I have my FSLTL set to just a setting of 2 for static planes only no live traffic since i use Vatsim. Now Vatsim would have 1 or 2 planes in the area. All would be fine and when trying out the different view and external views and is great and smooth...then all of a sudden like 5 min into the sim at the gate while I prep I look to my right side or it could be left or even external and my frames would drop to like 15, maybe 10 then wait a…

Hi, Only recently I migrated to MSFS and I'm still figuring out a lot of things. One of them is installing liveries... Yes I know.... Unzip, copy paste to community folder and presto... But that is not what I mean. I have bought/installed the BS Analog King Air mod and want to use a custom livery designed for the default King Air in the BS King Air mod. (The custom livery is the 'Asobo KingAir350 Osprey' livery) In FSX/P3D that was simply a matter of copy/paste a Texture folder (and maybe a model file etc) and then create an entry in the Aircraft.cfg. I use MFS at night but I like to fly VFR during daylight hours. I would like to use some sort of live weather, but MFS doesn't use historical weather. So if I turn on live weather but change the time to day, will I get the current weather but at the time I set up? Can this even be done? I know, I know I could just try this but I'm curious what the experts opinion is, as sometime the weather is fluky.

Flying locally this morning in Southern New Jersey & I noticed a smoky haze across and East of an area where there is an active bush fire. We are getting the high-altitude smoke from Canada, & the drift from a local bush fire to the West of here. Does Live Weather have the ability to show smoke drift, because that is what I feel I am seeing. T45

I'm a little ticked-off. I purchased the 222B from the "sim market" excited to fly only to find out that cockpit views are all messed up, I'm using my T.16000M hat-switch. I do not have this issue with any other plane in the simulator using a hat-switch for views. Also, when loading the heli from the world map, it puts me outside the helicopter not in the cockpit. -

Hi, So I've purchased the early access but only started using it recently (starting v0.9.11). I've done a couple of flights with it and it gets the job done getting you from A to B with no issues. It's clear it's missing key features like VNAV.
