  1. Now that MSFS 2024 has a dynamic FPS function where you can set a minimum FPS, how does that work with FG? Would it take the post-FG frame value (e.g. 58) or the pre-FG value (29) to determine whether graphics have to be dynamically reduced?

  2. Started by YukonPete,

I don't understand why they completely changed the way you set up the controls. It's horrendous. Every time I load the sim I have to reset up my controls.

  3. I am using the SimBrief Dispatch plugin for the MSFS EFB and ran into a conflict with navdata... Problems with a STAR, a SID that doesn't exist in MSFS2024... I need SimBrief for BATC and it seems I actually DO need Navigraph navdata for SB to work properly. After all... Bummer. But anyway, I installed the Hub but... no Navdata there yet. So now I can't do the flight I planned. Anyone knows when Navigraph will release their first AIRAC for MSFS2024? BTW What's the use of offering plugins if the mandatory navdata isn't there yet...?

  4. Started by kt069,

Sorry for my ignorance if this exists but, I really wonder how we can transport at least hardware setting files from MSFS2020 to MSFS 2024 ? I can not make or remember all the settings again for the controllers. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks to all.

  5. Started by Nemo,

I came across this information about add-on airports: https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/24245-how-to-override-streamed-airport-content-msfs2024/ I'm not sure if I understand everything. An example is KSFO from Flightbeam. I purchased Flighbeam KSFO some time ago, which has been announced to be compatible with MSFS 2024. I uninstalled the MS/Asobo version of KSFO in MSFS2020 when I installed the FB version, but it is still in MSFS2024 in the StreamedPackages folder. So I must rename "flightbeam-airport-ksfo-san-francisco" in my 2024 community to "asobo-airport-ksfo-sanfrancisco"? Do I have to delete the corresponding folder in the StreamedPackes folder?…

Hello, Has anyone managed to trim the H125? Flying further than 10 NM straight ahead gives me cramps in my forearm. Trimming helicopters seems to work in principle, but I am not able to use the control bindings that work on the other helis for this. Have I overlooked something or is it just not working yet? Best regards and have a good flight! Christian

I find the dynamic settings in the sim are too agressive and make everything look low res terrain wise. I've had no luck getting the Dynamic LOD app to work in 2024 though. Any ideas?

  11. Started by CBass,

I've found that some of my addons from MSFS 2020, that I purchased through the in-sim Marketplace, have transferred over to MSFS 2024 automatically - such as Orbx GB North - whilst others such as EGPF and EGPH by Pyreegue- that were also historically purchased through the marketplace are missing. Is everyone finding that only some of their paid for marketplace content has ported over? Does anyone know of a way/route to find the appropriate file from my 2020 sim and put in in my 2024 community folder? Thanks.

  12. Hi, Anyone knows if the new FS24 will import all our settings (controllers mostly: mouse, keyboard, throttle, joystick, rudder pedals; camera views...). If settings could be imported automatically it would save us all a lot of work. Regards.

  13. Started by Ricardo41,

Yeah, there are lots of issues and a lot of stuff works haphazardly - for example, the Pilatus PC-24, a plane I looked forward to, seems to be mostly broken, but I played around with the settings yesterday, did a couple of very short test flights. Performance was a solid 35-50 fps on my midrange system, with settings all on high on a 1440p ultra widescreen display. - and I have to say: This thing has massive potential. And the Longitude now has a (kind of low rez) cabin now! Hopefully modders can develop a high rez pack for the cabin.

I currently have 32gb system ram and the Xbox one S only has 8gb and can run this game just fine... Is 64 GB really that much of an improvement in running 2024? Thanks!

When should GSX jetways be enabled on add on airports? Thanks

  16. I stumbled across this clean looking Overlay. Very simple but has the necessary info. Without dealing with Afterburner/RTSS or the rather intrusive in game Dev FPS overlay. This one is open source from Git hub called "Clean Meter". Its rather new, in beta, and has a few bugs but overall works well. Not much documentation but found it easy to get working anyway. Once installed, when you have HWinfo running, you will have to make sure 'shared memory support' is checked in the main settings or you wont see the memory resources on the overlay. You can get it at Github. https://github.com/Danil0v3s/CleanMeter/releases/latest Screenshot below …

  17. Hi all Is there any AI-traffic addon working ok in the FS2024? I was using FSLTL in FS2020. Thanks Peter

  18. Started by Foki,

I'm quite new to the world of MFS. Within the game's career mode, I’ve completed all the beginner training (or we can call it tutorials). However, I’ve encountered a problem in the missions: the plane is incredibly unstable (with and without assits too), as if I constantly have to fly through the world’s biggest storm. On the other hand, in Free Flight mode or during the training sessions, the plane is always super stable. I’ve been trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong for hours, but I’ve given up :(

Tried to get arround with the setup inside of 2024 but honestly, there is no word for me to describe the pain i feel when trying to. i really wonder what they are thinking with this layout and messed up GUI Thanks for your help, Carsten

Make sure to delete the game folder manually after the uninstall. Many folders stay there, and also the 16 GB rolling cache. Brilliant 🤐

Can someone explain to me how to remove the compass from cockpit view in 2024. Not sure why this is so cryptic.

  22. Good day. I've been trying to set up my Boeing TCA Yoke Throttle quadrant for MSFS 2024 by using the same mappings as for 2020. I am able get the thrust levers to work but not the reversers. Anyone out there able to share their full settings for the quadrant? Regards, Peter Webber.

  23. Now that there's a workaround for the incompatible/undesired 2020 marketplace stuff I decided to go for it and pick the new sim up. Has anyone else had an issue with the sim corrupting GPU drivers? I was running the newest Nvidia ones that are supposed to support the sim. They've been fine with other games/etc since installed them a few days after release. While setting up my pilot avatar's look both my monitors went black and I had to force a reboot. Seems the sim blew out my GPU drivers or something because after that DWM kept crashing just on the desktop within a couple minutes of booting up. I had to DDU them and have temporarily put an older driver on. So far …

  24. Looks like Asobo is working on it: And it looks like Standard version aircraft were not supposed to be encrypted but they made a mistake before release (can't say the same thing about Premium Deluxe and Deluxe aircraft though, they are discussing it):
