After reading all the negative reviews, I found that after I actually tried it for myself, I 100% agree! Having things pop in reminds me of the horrible FSX engine. I have recently installed a new 4TB SSD. Ultra fast and relatively cheap. I was expecting to use of that for an optimized perf sim. Not to be. I am therefore getting a refund. I would not be buying back into this until, at a minimum: -The architecture is reverted to FS2020 style and there is an offline mode -The Horrible GPU / CPU utilisation is Fixed -There is a way to edit controller and keyboard mappings in a Text file -There should be a feature to select tiles on a world map a…

Not one week after release, and things are looking very promising! I just finished a flight in the Fenix A320 from Nice Côte d'Azur to Innsbruck. Everything *just worked*. What the heck happened to the Sensitivity sub-menu under TOBII controls?

I didn't realise you need an advanced degree in logistics to get the camera controls to work! 1) Can someone please explain what on earth "Transversal" means? I know what it means in plain English but what it means in FS2024 is anyone's guess. 2) I want to set up my joystick EXACTLY how it was in FS2020 and there appears to be a camera option for this, but it does not recall any FS2020 controls 3) I just want to set my T.A320 joystick POV Hat switches so they look (swivel) up, down, left and right but it doesn't work. I have been able to set keyboard, yoke, and rudder settings... but the mouse seems impossible.. I would like to delete the mousewheel zoom, and keep the rightbutton+mousewheel setting. However, when selecting the rightbutton+mousewheel option, the cursor instantly moves away from the scanning box and aborts the scan. Is there another way?

Hi Everybody, I stumbled upon this stutter fix for my setup and thought I'd share it with everyone. If you are experiencing stutters, you may want to give this a try. As you can see in the video, it worked great for me and my setup. Update: Some have asked how to create a new screen without the menu Under General Option under the experiential section you're going to add a new render window, this window will replace the original one that pops up, just minimize the front window that has the pull down sections like Weather, ATC and what not.... now use the new window you just created for your center view.

Hi Everybody, Maybe someone that knows more about the inner workings of MS2020 can help explain what I'm experiencing. First my setup, I have an AMD 7950X3D on a Gigabyte X670E Aorus Master M/B, 64GB DDR5 Ram at 6,000, 2TB Samsung 990 pro NVME, Asus tuf 4090 with 24GB. I run MS2020 on the ultra settings with the pmdg 738 airliner, without the 3D flight deck being shown. I'm running seven monitors, three at 4K, three at 1366x768 and one at 800x600. Now when I run MS2020 I found that I get constant flickers on my external (4K screens) views and the issue seems to be connected to the main screen that has the pull down menu items on it, because if I create anot…

While messing with 2024 and the beta simbrief dispatch, It occured to me you could make a plan in simbrief dispatch, import the route to the sim, then in the Asobo planner you can request the (imported!) Simbrief plan from the sim Avionics and then (still using the planner) file the plan to the ATC..... Now the internal ATC will work with you as you fly. Seems to work fine, except that choosing a gate seems to mess it all up, so you have to start from a runway.... Anybody else tried this, or is it a stoopid idea? Is there a better/easier way?

Hello, can anyone tell me of experience with FSLTL injection. I have been trying it out, and had it crash the sim both at KBOS and KSEA. Settings are default, I reinstalled the package... not sure what else I might do. Any experience with it under MSFS2024?

DLSS is must in VR 2024. The G1000 screens will be softer with DLSS but performance issues are greatly improved. I posted here because I do believe that even in 2D, and not just VR, DLSS will cover a multitude of the new 2024's sins. Softness can be slightly improved using swapper. Most of this is not just for VR.

Hello fellow simmers. I am having a problem with setting up controls. I have watched videos on how to delete a setting on a controller. The step is to hover over the Joystick setting where unbind shows on the bottom. I use the backspace and it does not remove the setting. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I appreciate your suggestions

Today was my 1st day flying MSFS2024 as I would somewhat normally. I spent yesterday getting Axis and Ohs setup for the Black Square Duke Piston and prior flights in 2024 has been checking out Career Mode. My plan this morning was to visit so addon airports in So-Cal. Its interesting that some airports will port over and others wont. You can always tell if the airport is going to work in 2024 by seeing the star next to the field from the top down view when setting up a free flight. So the airports today were going to be KSBP San Luis, KSBA Santa Barbra, KVNY Van Nuys, L70 Alga Dulce and KSZP Santa Paula. The weather had me flying IFR for some of it and then the weat…

I was very happy with the announced EFB and thought: 'Finally I can get rid of Navigraph'. However, after a few (apparently lucky) succesful flights I ran into navdata problems when I tried to load a SimBrief plan into MSFS2024, like a SID that wasn't found and a plan only loading up to the first waypoint... These problems occured when using the SB plugin as well as when loading a download PLN into the EFB planner. So it seems that in order to use SimBrief (which I need for BATC) at least a Navigraph navdata subscription is mandatory. Bummer. But well, I have to add the EFB was a bit of a letdown anyway. Can't say the charts, nice as they may look, are very help…

Howdy. Is this a problem for anyone else? In 2020 I have this mapped to my second hat. Left/Right takes me to every preset and even back to the cabin in the case of the Fenix. In 2024 those lvars seem inop. Anyone else? TIA, -B

None of my GA A/C have any lighting. Is that a bug, or am I missing something?

Whenever I try to fly the Cessna 152 in MSFS2024, I get no sounds from the aircraft. I do hear enviromental sounds but no sounds from the door shutting, switches or even the engine. Is this a problem on my end or do others have the same issue?
