I understood the autolan 'bring me home' option should work. How do you initiate that...? I can't say the default SF50 is an improvement over the payware one... Lots of things not working or missing: - When selecting approach the frequency isn’t automatically set in the radio’s (like for the ILS). This did work as it should in the payware version. - The overhead lights in the cockpit don’t have any effect. - When you import a flight and add a STAR it leaves the departure airport in the plan BELOW the STAR resulting in a weird route. - The plane seems a lot less powerful during climb than the payware version. - Up to take off I constantly see the c…

I'm able to use the Bravo throttles on other planes just fine. The issue is assigning the 'Throttle 1 & 2 axis' to the physical throttle arms on the bravo for the Fenix A320. I can scan & add the hardware in MSFS 2024, but going into the sim, the Fenix throttles aren't responding properly. This isn't an issue of calibration in the Fenix. The throttles only move back (or reverse) in the fenix, I can't get them to move forward. I tried inverting the axis, that doesn't help. I tried running the calibration procedure, but still when moving the bravo throttle arm forward, it moves the Fenix throttles into reverse. Absolutely maddening. I do…

So… Nvidia claims the new 5070 non-ti card can match the performance of a 4090 with DLSS 4 of which the 4090 can only do DLSS 3.5 and can’t support DLSS 4. That said is MSFS2024 going to include DLSS 4 support in the immediate future and will we see the kind of huge fps improvements Nvidia is showcasing in other games with DLSS 4 active? Thoughts?

Until now, I was pretty satisfied with the internal control system of MSFS. It works. But, I found myself needing a different throttle setup for two different aircraft, because my TQ is two-axis, and some aircraft do have different ways they handle 4 throttles for instance. So I tried making different profiles for different aircraft, however, all attempts failed, although according to videos I watched, should work. Anyway... from days of FSX, I was almost exclusively using FSUIPC, with a default profile, and specific profiles for some aircraft. Was working great. Not sure if that is even still possible, but I have FSUIPC 7. What would you recommend?

Hello, I installed MFS2024 but have a probplem with the Logitech Switch Panel that was working fine with MSFS2020. All the controles work ok except the Heading knob. When turnining it, the heading jumps randomly by anything fro 1 to over 10 degree steps. This is using the G1000 Any ideas please?

Sorry for such a strange question, but I really don't have a good understanding of this parameter works. Is it like a vacuum cleaner bag, that you need to empty from time to time, or the system (data) gets clogged? How often should it be cleared?

Oooo looks to be a professional line for Just Flight's Learjet 45. I was hoping someone would make one of these! https://www.justflight.com/articles/end-of-year-round-up-2024-part-five-announcing-the-lj45-professional

I am confused, aren't both of these products essentially doing the same thing? If not, what am I missing here. I have AutoFPS set up and I can't figure out whether I should be trying to use DynamicLOD as well. Thanks ........ Rob

How does one assign priorities for add-ons? For example, if I have an add-on airport xxxx and an improvement package yyyy which has priority? Are the below entries in Content.xml file still valid? <Priorities> <Package name="yyyy" priority="1"/> <Package name="xxxx" priority="2"/> </Priorities> Thanks!

I'm trying to set-up reverse thrust for the above so that it does NOT act like a button but an axis...can I do that and if so how? I want to be able to just dial in a little bit of reverse for taxi. At idle it taxis way too fast. I don't want to wear out and keep constantly breaking but I'm constantly going in and out of reverse...hence this post. thanks.

Every file used by MSFS is on a NVMe device and my internet connection is a 900+Mb/sec fiber of very high reliability With an empty community folder the 2024 sim constantly needs 4' 40" to load and then another 1' 15" to go from Free Flight to Ready to Fly. That is a total startup time of almost 6-minutes and a full minute longer than MSFS 2020 needs with a Community folder holding 25 addons. Timings for 2024 are: 57" to get to 11% Activate Packages 1' 12" to get to 14% Activate Packages...and then nothing happens for the next 2-minutes there is very little disk or file activity and one CPU is at 90% with all the others at idle 3' 45" End activating …

I don't see this as much as I used to, and maybe it's simply beyond the capability of the sim to render that much detail in places like urban neighborhoods.... But when one encounters ground objects that appear blockish or melted, is there a way to reset the sim? I think back in FSX days, one could refresh the scenery, and it would give the sim another attempt to render the scenery as it was meant to be. But is there a trick to doing something like that with the new technology of MSFS 2024?

I know it's cloud based. What I meant was, is all of it on the cloud? Even the menu. So far I'm not at all impressed by this product. Still trying to dial it in before deciding if I want to refund it. It's certainly not ready for release. There are days I log in and it crawls. Everything crawls. The menu system operates with a multi second delay. Clicking on resume or quit does nothing. This morning I had to CTRL ALT DEL to exit the program because it simply was not responding. I could click the selections so it wasn't frozen, it just didn't react. There are times when it's decent but nowhere near the smoothness of 2020. Is there something I'm doing wrong with t…

Hi 🙂 currently have a rtx 3080 with msfs24 (waiting for the 4080 super) and samsung 49" 120hz monitor i am trying to find the perfect balance between perf and quality. i am not sure i really understand the difference between the mod nvdia dlss frame generation on or off and vsync on with refresh rate (framerate limit in game) In the cessna 172 i have a solid 45fps almost everywhere but as soon as i jump in an other airplane i drop around 20/25 fps. i see no difference with framegen on or off. and regarding vsync from what i understood, if i put framegen off but vsync on with 100% monitor refresh rate that mean i cannot go higher than…

Hi guys, PSXT, a real time live traffic generator, can now be used without a RealTraffic license subscription (thus completely free!), to populate the airports that you visit with static parked aircraft. The aircraft will be set at gates based on historic data from week 1, 2024, courtesy RealTraffic. PSXT parks static aircraft of the right airline, model and livery at the right gate at the right hour and day of the week, no empty airports! If you fill in your destination airport, the parking starts when the airport is in sight. You can also enter the gate number where you want to park, to prevent it is occupied when you arrive. For more informati…

I am using MSFS 2024 and can't figure out how to control the weather. I want to use Real Weather settings and this seems to work pretty good except for snow. I live in central Pennsylvania, and we had a snow storm a couple of days ago but in the sim there is no snow on the ground. I remember seeing a trailer for the sim a couple of years ago and it showed a plane flying down over New York city and it was snowing, and the snow was building up on the ground. Using the real weather setting and it is raining for real, I see the rain in the sim. If it is clear I see that in the sim. The weather generator seems to be working pretty close to the real world conditions except ther…

I have long missed the ability to save in-flight situations in MSFS 2020 for payware aircraft. This would be such a useful function for many things –interrupting long trips; practicing ILS landings at a specific airport; recovery from a CTD etc. I could never get it to work However, I think I have found a way by utilising a freeware program called FlightRecorder (FR) (flightsim.to) which creates videos. My test case used the JustFlight BAE146 on a flight from CYLW (Kelowna) to CYVR (Vancouver) for my test. I created a flight plan in LittleNavMap including both a SID and STAR with approaches. I have a shortcut to FR in my Task Bar. Phase 1 - I start the …

Hello everyone, Yesterday I started MSFS2020 and noticed that the load up has reverted to normal rather than using modern ui 2.0 which I have been using since it was released. I tried to re download it but the file is now unavailable. Is there a replacement for it and if not can anyone tell me where I can download it from. Alternatively, could some kind person DM me for email address and send me a copy of the original file (IF THIS LEGAL) Any information would be very helpful. Thanks Tony Chilcott

My MSFS is not recognizing my new sidestick base as one of the options in the sim. Previously, I never had to add any of my other hardware. It has all my other hardware listed. I know that it is on, etc because when I press a button, it recognizes that. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am sure it is a fairly easy fix but just wanted to check here first. It is a Moza AB9 base if that matters. Thanks
