Hello, I didn't see this covered elsewhere but I had a question regarding the size of the update. When I first clicked to update, it said the file size was about 392MB. Then it froze and when I restarted it, now it's giving me a file size of 40.29GB?????😲 Isn't this about the size of the whole sim? I'm current on all my updates and the release notes don't justify such a large file. Any feedback on what's going on here would be deeply appreciated. Thank you very much.😟 Best regards, Hans

NAV radio tuning not working fuel tank switch not working ??

Personly I have found FPS increase from 15-22% depending on aircraft. From what we saw it "seemed" we were all in for around 70% uplift..yer to much to believe but we all saw it! The PMDG for me was my lowest FPS aircraft (VC view) it was 40-41 pre SU5 with SU5 its now 46-47. So with that in mind here is what Robert says about SU5. "Not an easy question to answer. When we received our test builds last week, all of us were seeing FPS increases greater than 100% across a couple of builds. Hi. I'm not a real life pilot but I have been on a sea plane (float plane) twice as a passenger in real life with takeoff/landing in the ocean. Anyways, I am testing out the Cessna 172 float plane in MSFS. So I have not modified any of the weights at all on the default Cessna 172 float plane. Also, for weather, instead of using live weather, I am using a "Few Clouds" but no wind is set at all. Thus, when I spawn, the waves are generally calm. And I have not modified any of the weights or fuel for the Cessna 172 float plane. On take off, as I approach 40 knots, the Cessna 172 float plane will start to bounce up and then fall back down, like I hit a big wave or someth…

I played MSFS a couple of times today with SU5 and it worked great. Tried to play again tonight and now it loads into the Microsoft store. Once there, I can't get it to do anything. It seems like it wants me to install a Gaming Services update, but when I do nothing happens. I see a lot of HDD activity, but no visible results on screen. Any ideas, anyone? I realise this post will no doubt upset a lot of console word not allowed but I'm frustrated with Microsoft/Asobo. I was not given a choice on whether or not to install this mandatory update. With the latest update being "mandatory" this proves they are pandering to the xbox/console users. What if the sim was running great before and we don't want it? And it was for me. What if I don't want a performance update at the sacrifice of pop-in, poor draw distances and blurry graphics. No matter, this new console targeted update is tailor made for new simmers on the Xbox is MANDATORY for everyone. I do hope Microsoft/Asobo rectifies the situation but I won't hold my breath.

Took my Warrior for a short "jump" this morning (ESKN to ESSB) I sat there, at 2500 ft, behind the "wheel", looking around, when it suddenly hit me how utterly prefct this is! Early morning, almost no coluds less than some light clouds in the distance, (real weather enabled ofcourse) and my thought goes like WOW and WOW again!!! This is so awesome and stunningly prefect! No tweaks, no third party addons, no nothing to make the sim experience "better", just straight "out of the box" and its PERFECT!!! Captains, A few moments ago we released another update for the PMDG DC-6 for MSFS via the Operations Center. This update is primarily targeted at visual aspects of the PMDG DC-6 that were incorrectly exported in build 33, but also includes a couple of minor fixes in our ongoing maintenance of the product and curative efforts for some of the things that changed with the large MSFS platform update released this week. I mentioned in in my post earlier this week that PMDG was admitted to the test program for the new MSFS update with only a few days to prep the DC-6 for the transition. Is it just me? I've found that with some aircraft, such as the Pipistrel, the soft keys no longer work since the "update."

Hi all sorry to hear some are having major issues, so frustrating how there are so many issues on some systems, I did have one item causing freezing and Odd CTD but after I removed it from community folder Sim running great except for colouring and those clouds. Lost a few frames from the Hotfix and not much live traffic but all in all its running very smooth with about at 10 fps uplift

I don't recall seeing some of these liveries from the Xbox release trailer. Was curious if we have access to them as well on the PC?

I have been trying MSFS for a few days now. Most of the runways in the western US have grass popping through the runway surface as I flare for a landing. The grass continues to "popup" in front of me while rolling our after landing. Today, the airplane I was flying (the Aerosoft CRJ) leaped back into the air like it was landing on an unprepared strip, in other words like I was landing on open terrain, the runway not even being there. I updated to the latest install before today's flight. This has happening on the last several flights. Getting annoying. Anyway that I can fix this problem with the runways? Is this a known issue? Is there any proven method that allows you to pan the camera around with the space bar + mouse, kind of like how it is in FSX/P3D. Don't get me wrong, I like using the middle mouse button to enable free look, but after spending the last 15+ years using the space bar + mouse method, it is a method that works well for me. Another thing is adjusting the cockpit camera. At the moment when pressing the up/down, left/right arrow keys to adjust my fov - the speed at which the camera moves is far too fast to get a precise location of the camera for the position I want it. So is there a way to reduce to speed at which the camera operates when pressing the arrow keys?

Hello, Hi!, I'm a bit puzzled about how to view interior of the aircraft as it's mentioned that you can view by using the internal camera. Since I can not place the aircraft on runway, gate or anywhere, how one is supposed to access the interior? If anybody have any idea about this then please kindly mention it so like my self a lot of people can enjoy it. Thanks

Trying to change the heading bug on the 787 autopilot, but nothing happens. I thought I was supposed to left click the heading bug and then the plane would bank over to the heading I selected. But that's not working. Seems to be stuck in hold mode and I'm unable to disable it. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone able to resolve this issue? I have logged out and back into the store after rebooting 'puter, clicked the updates upper right and nothing is offered. Boot the sim, checks for updates and loads 1.18.13.0 just fine . Any help, much appreciated.
