Hi Since updating yesterday I have found that my Saitek trim wheel is totally useless. Left at the SU4 settings (that worked!) i now find a small movement of the wheel was creating huge up/down movement in the nose of the plane, basically sending me into the ground. I have reduced the sensitivity all the way to -80% and now the movement of the plane does not seem to respond to the movement of the trim wheel a all, any movement either up or down moves the nose into a 30 degree descent! The trim wheel is currently unusable at the moment so I may as well park the game until there are some new patches unless anyone can help. Has anyone else got the same re…

Hi guys. Have any of you have noticed that the live weather displays completely incorrect air temperature at altitude? It can make it a real challenge to climb. The other day I had to switch to high blower in the DC-6 at 13,000' because the OAT was so high I could not maintain 40"MP with full throttle open. This seems to me like a pretty mission critical bug to fix. Any word from Asobo? Have you guys experienced this?

Hey Everyone, I finally finished the update and went for a quick flight. This is installed on an MSI Gaming Laptop which runs this sim with no problem. First don't hate me because of the Xbox Controller thing. I do fly with a Thrustmaster T16000M FCS on normal occasions... Like when I want to prop controllers all over the table. 😄 I do also use an Xbox controller for just having arcade-like for fun. In fact... I also use it because on sightseeing excursions you are (or were) able to slew the camera around with the right thumbstick very easily while flying. LOL, ok I turned OFF the whole AI traffic (MSFS SU5) due CTD (however it doesnt solve the problem).... but what I noticed, even with all AI OFF (like on screen) the ATC still talk and tracking of different planes .... so this ATC is a fake??? No any other planes (I think) and ATC talking to someone? Really strange. For example in FSX or P3Dv5 if you turn AI OFF (to zero), ATC can contact only to you and no different speeches ....

Hello Simmers! What Asosbo did with the graphics in the last update lacks any criticism. And all this in order for XBOX users to somehow be able to fly on their consoles, but this did not help them and the official forum has a bunch of topics where users are faced with problems of low FPS and CTD on consoles. It follows from this that the future of us (PC users) is waiting for an even greater decrease in the graphic component of the simulator. To avoid this, we need to suggest / persuade Asobo to split the PC and XBOX versions as long as possible. As my sim card modem connection speeds (anything from 5 - 20Mbps) is so poor I cannot fly with photogeometry (sp)? turned on so would like to download as many high res areas into my local cache as possible. I obviously know about London, Paris and New York I was wondering if there is a list anywhere with all the currently available areas to guide me? If not I would be grateful if somebody could just post the ones they know to get me on my way. Thanks in advance.

Problems with installing MSFS 2020 Premium Deluxe DVD set. I purchased the FS as a DVD set and installed as directed. Once installed it directed me to MS Store and then there were no prompts to go any further. Thinking there was something wrong I uninstalled and reinstalled following same process and still no prompts at the MS Store to download content/upgrades etc. I purchased DVD set from Gamesmen in Sydney. In the MS Store app it shows me signed in and My Library shows several versions of MSFS 2020 including Premium Deluxe Upgrade Purchased 31-01-21, Deluxe Upgrade Purchased 31-01-21, MS Flight Simulator Purchased 31-01-21 and Premium Deluxe pre-order Purchased 31-01-2…

Right after SU5 I have been noticing some very strange behaviour in the way Live weather is injected into the sim. Sudden wind changes that feel like a turbulence, but it's actually massive wind direction and speed change right after being downloaded. Winds change from something like 2 knots tailwind to 30 knots headwinds and then suddenly back to 2 knots. Have you noticed the same?

I buy a car. when i arrive at home the car they send to me has no wheels and no seats. but they say me its veeeery fast! i buy MSFS Deluxe. when i arrive at my PC ai traffic doesnt exist and clouds are less defined. but they say to me: its almost 60 frames per second! the end.

This forum is in dire need of a little levity 😃. So I thought that I'd share that I do some training with DC-6 in a very nice spot in Asobo's land, a French island on the Eastern coast of Africa called Mayotte. It is actually part of an archipelago of several small hilly (volcanic) islands, only Mayotte is French. It has great watermasks, a VOR-DME which allows some training, a small village on a bump close to one of the threshold. And there is not far away a grass strip on another island to relax with your Cub. Recommended.

Has anyone noticed that after update 5 ATC now says good day when you are going to another ATC controller.

Problems with installing MSFS 2020 Premium Deluxe DVD set

Since the release of MSFS, I could count on one hand the number of times I've had a CTD. Today alone, I've already had two.

I have had a LOT of CTDs since SU5. I bought a new PC a few weeks ago and did stability testing prior to SU5. My GPU and CPU never got that hot, as my CPU was in the high 70s C and my GPU was rock steady at 70 C. Trying to track down CTDs today i was closely monitoring temps and my GPU was in the high 80s. That was after maybe a 15 minute flight. I installed MSI Afterburner and created a basic fan profile to crank the fan up should temps exceed 65 C and so far very stable. If you are having CTD issues and haven’t done this already, download something like HWMonitor and watch your GPU and CPU temps during a flight. I don’t like to see my GPU exceed 70 C or my CPU cores…

Not that buildings "pop up" (which some of them do, like trees here and there...) But wery oftenly, the buildings/terminals and houses just dissaper? Empty aprons, empty suburbans etc...

Title says it all for the FBW a320. What are the majority of people running? Ive been on the stable version for ages but is it work changing to the dev version? Will I run into many issues?

Post SU5 I can’t seem to rid myself of the toolbar marker at top center… does it not disappear anymore? That would be a shame. Hopefully it’s the mutt flying my aeroplane.

Here I have 2 MSFS pc’s. This morning on both first the 1 Gb preparations update has been installed. The Left View pc continued with SU5, but the server showed a black window and after few seconds it shut down. I uninstalled MSFS, rebooted the pc and tried to install MSFS. Within 2 seconds I already got a message “Installed”. No MSFS pictogram on the desktop. In menu start I could launch MSFS. After 15 sec the blank screen for 4 seconds and back on the desktop. When trying to download these two updates I keep having the download stop. My speed goes up and down and then what it just downloaded resets. Thanks for any tips. Anthony
