The Saturday update left the nav1 gauge not working properly on ILS approach, the glide slope was not showing and the heading was way off. This has been fixed with 30.05.2021 update. 😀

Since SU5 I’ve been been getting a complete shutdown.. I wish I was getting a CTD, oh no this is whole other level. I’ve even done a clean reinstall today so nothing in the community folder and I’ve not reached the main menu once… checked temps with HW monitor.. CPU an GPU both reasonable.. Is anyone else seeing the same.. No idea what to do now!

I do try hard not to moan or grunt, although my wife says I do too much of it, but it's only because I really hate things that break or don't work. My frustration isn't aimed at individual persons but more like situations, but in this case it's MSFS. I mean, for crying out loud, is there any time we have an update that doesn't break something else in the sim? Since the release of MSFS I still haven't managed to have a comprehensive and intelligable camera/views setup. I see that some of us complaining not having air traffic. Just off Geneva airport with a dozen of aircraft around me in the skies. MP is off, only Live traffic. EasyJet, Sunturk, Air Hop etc. I am on the North Europe server. (a note here, it seems that I cannot choose anymore my server). If all your settings are OK in the traffic and data panels, could it be that some servers are faulty and not SU5 ?

Seems to be subtle changes in the reflections and smoothness of the gradient in bounce lighting transitions. Cannot duplicate exact angles precisely, but lighting in both scenes is a clear sky. Notice in both cases the reflections appear a bit smoother and more complex and fuller in the PRE-SU5 images. Pre-SU5 Notice that I originally even took the above image at a closer ZOOM and it still looks higher resolution than the SU5 one. Am I the only one that cannot get the FBW A320nx to load with any 3rd party livery since SU5. The default livery loads fine, but other liveries cause a CTD. I went to the FBW discord site but there's not a mention of anything like that. Perhaps someone can shed some light on this for me. Lee

Hi, 1. About adding sceneries manually: - With FSX we had scenery.cfg to do this procedure. It seems with MSFS we just need to put folders in the right places, right? 2. About adding liveries manually for Fly-By-Wire A320N: - I tried to do the procedure via the normal way to add liveries to the stock A320 and then convert all of them with the right livery installer. However many liveries don't look "exactly" like they are in real life. How can I add them manually? 3. I've got the Thrustmaster Airbus sidestick and have noticed it is very sluggish turning the nose gear when I twist it. In the controls section I can see it deflecting full both ways on the Z axis and it does move the rudder. But I still get very limited nose gear movement (tried on the default A320 and 787). Thanks

I just came off a long 'tour' flight over the PNW, and also as to what other people are reporting, this is what occurred on my flight in the Cessna Float: There are propeller blade white line artifacts in this, and many other props at high rotation I believe that we need to give the custom shipping venders a break. I believe that the A.I. in SU5 is seriously broken, and here's why: I have been at only 1,000 feet over A.I. boats and ships, and they will disappear 'poof!' right in front of your eyes. Noticed one of the largest cities in Texas (Dallas) is missing photogrammetry textures but Fort Worth is not. Wondering why Dallas might have been skipped in the USA update?

Fix the graphic settings, plane customization settings, world map settings, airport history, so that they will actually save. Give me sliders and or options so that I can make better use of my hardware that I invested in. Fix the horrible looking clouds when using live weather. Fix the overexposed looking clouds and terrain. Bring back volumetric lighting. Fix the horrible laggy loading of photogrammetry trees, coastlines, mountains and textures. Is anyone else seeing this? Earlier everything was as it has been (broken temps etc) now I cannot even select live wx. Maybe an update us being done in the servers and they're locking people out during?

Since the last update, it's no longer possible to use my mouse, in particular the right click. Does anyone have this problem? I've tried everything, but it doesn't change a thing.

So after the last upgrade (number 5) when I click FLY, the application just closes down and completely disappears? Never had this problem before. And yes the hot fix was installed. Maybe it is time to reinstall the program and hope for the best? Any Ideas?

I have been making time for two whole days so that, every hour, there is the hope that Asobo will communicate to its users the reason for so many errors in the new update. The clouds have a worse definition, the traffic does not exist and does not inject more than 12 models (¿?), .lights are not volumetric. I have 8 CTDS on a day when the game is loading (without even being able to start powering the plane). What joke is this? We want, at least, what we had before (which already lacked good performance as well). Who has decided that this is an update and why? It is unfair, that you have paid an amount of money that you cannot enjoy the product.

A heads-up for those who may be purchasing a Stream Deck payware plug-in from a site named Flight Deck. A developer named Nguyen Quy Hy, who's plugins are freely available, claims some people stole his plugins from GitHub, and packaged them as Flight Deck, with some pre-built profiles. I purchased the payware from this site, on a recommendation from a fellow simmer from Avsim, who was also unaware of the controversy. I thought I was supporting the work of developer, Nguyen Quy Hy, but the funds went to those who supposedly stole his work. Most other forums I'm on allow any message to be a poll. With 4 or 5 options to vote for. The percentages of responses are tabulated. I would be interested to know how positive or negative most people are about SU5 and the Hotfix.

RTX 3060 Ti with 8 GB memory - Prior to SU5 the Developer Mem Budget was always > 6 GB and MSI AfterBurner consistently showed more than 7 GB in use (GPU usage > 90% most of the time) while I was seeing about 29 - 32 FPS on my fixed test flight in coastal San Diego County and 19 - 22 FPS while landing at KSAN with LFVR KSAN installed. Almost all settings are at Ultra with scaling set to 120. After SU5 & HotFix - Dev GPU Mem Budget is always less than 4.5 GB and AfterBurner confirms that is all the GPU memory used and GPU usage is never over 75%. What Asobo did by introducing su5 is a drama ... bugs, visual deterioration, ctd etc, you can find a problem in every aspect ..... I`am asksing why there was no Q @ A for the first time, like after every release update ... We have too many questions, don't be afraid of us 🙂 🙂

Sorry if this isn’t an appropriate post but I am hoping someone from the MSFS Development team will read this. Since I and other people are having problems with the program not working or opening up after the SU5 update, a popup or some type of message should inform users that if their program doesn’t open the problem could be a bad modification in the Community folder. Also what to do about it. Not everyone is aware of or looks at this and similar forums. Especially newbie users. I bet there are a lot of frustrated people out there that are completely in the dark about this. I am very frustrated with the lack of communication on the part of Asobo/Micros…

I have the DELUXE edition, so I don't have the Boeing 787, Cessna Logitude, Cirrus SR22, ... Nevertheless, the automatic update downloads and installs livery for these aircraft. Even if I remove them manually to make some free space on my SSD, MSFS reloads them as an update at the next start. How can avoid this? It is ridiculous, why am I forced to have liveries for aircraft that I don't have?!? Any idea is greatly welcome. Thank you.
