Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

There seems to be a visual bug introduced in the update that causes you to not see raindrops at all. I'm not talking about the curtains of rainfall you see off in the distance or the effect on the windshield. I'm talking about the raindrops that you could see close to you (represented as stretched pixels I believe). They're not even lit up by light sources anymore. I saw a guy mention it on FB then I tested it and found that I also had the issue.

Haven't been able to find any info about this: what is the proper trim setting for take off and where is the trim indicator located. I find that if I let go of the yoke shortly after rotation, the plane goes nose down, requiring me to give it a lot of trim-up.

Hey guys, Hope everyone is well. I've been flying DCS for the last few months (I previously have many hours on MSFS) and felt an urge to fly some civilian aircraft on Pilotedge. If I was to buy the PMDG DC-6 with a barebones install of MSFS, no other addons bar Navigraph, Pilotedge client (or Vatsim) client, and the DC6, am I likely to run into a lot of issues due to SU5? I could download the sim and try it out, I know, but its huge and takes many days on my net connection. Thanks :)

Is this a bug on my machine or is this something everybody is experiencing? I cannot remember if this happened before SU5, but at 27,000 ~ 35,000 feet the imagery goes really bad. Even FS2004 could probably pull off something better at the same framerate. All settings on "High".

Hey guys, bit of a panic here... Installed the hotifx (and it also downloaded the whole darn thing again!!) anywho... i deleted the community folder so it would create a new one and i could put my addons back as needed.... Ive added the A320 as usual and the nohandle toolbar mod...started up and both do not appear! Its as if the sim is not detecting the community folder or made another somewhere and pointing to that! How on earth do i find where it could be and change it back> Stumped! Thanks guys

I mentioned this in another thread but it probably got lost amongst everything else. Straight after SU5, I had both the updated versions of GA and Airliner Training but, not long after, the GA training disappeared. The Flight Training page only shows Airliner training. Ocassionally I will get the scroll bar showing on the right of the screen but there is still no GA training to scroll to. I was wanting to see if the training had been tweaked. Anyone else have this issue?

TL;DR: I believe I’ve found a bug which could explain why some of you are finding graphics are not as good as before. Although I'm experiencing it with Nvidia drivers 471.47 SD (Studio Drivers), there is a possibility this bug is also affecting the GRD version (Game Ready Drivers). Hello, I’ve noticed on my past couple of flights with the FBW A320 ATC is messing up my callsign, adding the airline ICAO code to the call sign. For example in my current flight, Air Canada 220, it’s calling me “Air Canada Alpha Charlie Alpha 220” (it also calls me Air Canaahda but that’s a whole different issue). I assume this is somehow pulling the information from the MCDU/ATSU but I’m not sure how, or more importantly how to stop this from happening? I’m using a Simbrief flight plan which auto populates the ACA220 call sign in the ATSU in this case. Thanks

Since the "update" i can only adjust the vs in the 747 by amounts of 100 rather than the previous 50. Is it just me?

I checked my UserOptions.cfg file after HF2 and it's showing the Texture Quality as 0. I am using a custom Ultra preset with everything maxed out. In this case, I just want to make sure if 0 is in fact ultra or the highest setting?

I've done a lot of my own work on the default A320. I haven't been using FlyByWire since it's been buggy especially since the update. One thing I want to do is use the FBW sounds for the default A320; however, when I replace the default sound files with the FBW sound files, I get no sound at all. Does anyone have any advice on how to get the FBW sounds for the default A320?

Saw this Californian addon released today. Looks pretty good and better than the average GA airfield. Thought some of you guys and gals might be interested and would otherwise fly under the radar. Ever since the last update I have had trouble with the flight planner, when I setup a flight plan from point a to point b the blue line will be all crooked, and then when I I add a way point i gets worse, then when I start the flight the plane doesn't follow the red line, most of the time I will get to the airport, but then it can't find the runway and try to land on the tower!!!!!! I'm very confused now, any help would be appreciated

When I try to take off in the Husky a voice keeps repeating "engine overspeed" and then when I put the wheels up on the floats a voice keeps repeating "wheels up for water landing". Is there a way to disable these warnings.

Hi All, First question, does all your purchases from the MS Store get loaded when you start the sim. So if purchase some large files I am assuming it will increase the loading times, especially after you keep purchasing new titles from the store I am curious if the purchases made from the MS store could e relocated so that each and every title dos not load up when you start the sim. I am using addon linker (highly recommended!!), i can then just select the titles I would like to load in. I usually do it by region. Any thoughts?? Thanks n advance

Hi all. Is anybody else having instant CTD's with the A320NX (Dev) . It worked fine until 3 days ago, but since then whenever i click fly it CTD's. I have deleted the aircraft, cleared the other fbw A320nx files (Not folders) left behind after being deleted. Even tried the stable version, doing a clean install after. I use the addon Linker and have only the FBW A320NX in Community folder, still the same. The default A320 loads fine. I even re-installed MSFS yesterday in an attempt to rectifiy the issue, and it's still the same. ( I am not using anything other than default liveries, and default airfields to prove the issue is either with the A320NX or something …
