Hi, Along with a lot of people I'm having problems after the recent MSFS update and also after the hotfix release. My problem started with the marketplace; the buy & download button is greyed out. I have read that this can be due to a failed transaction, but I haven't downloaded anything recently from marketplace. I just have the world updates, Firebywire Airbus, Aerosoft Paderbon freebie. Before the updated, I didn't have this problem Anyone with any history of this issue? Also I have now discovered, which I don't know if its linked to the problem with marketplace. That after the update, I needed to redownload the world update; Japan, USA, UK, Europe …

Anyone knows why Co-pilots in both the Just Flight Turbo Arrow and the Zenith CH701 don't show up anymore? They are visible in external view but not internal. This is with su5+HF1+HF2.

Here is a video of how I am enjoying the U5 and HF 1&2 in the Husky. I run a 4 screen system with top 3 screens using NVIDIA Surround. I run the windowed view at 5200 x 1000 px. For the Husky I use the Thrustmaster A10 joystick with a 12" extension, this is used for most warbirds and helis as well as cubs and other stick planes. I also run the Thrustmaster Pendulum pedals and in this case the old Saitek throttle quadrant, because it is on the left. I use the Honeycomb Alpha and Beta for non tandem planes like 172, 182 or the Pipers and all the twins. For the A320 I use the VBK as a side stick. I also have a home built collective for helis. Tried to login and logout of the store. Restarts. Get Updates. Other apps in the store update, not MSFS. Did a total reset of the store via powershell. Any smart help would be appreciated!

Has anyone loaded the Aersoft CRJ back into the simulator after update 5? Just checking to see if there are problems or does it work. Thanks

Hi. I have tried landing the C172 G1000 float plane several times at the CYVR (Vancouver International) seaplane terminal on the Fraser river. I have CYVR from FSimStudios from the MSFS marketplace installed. Every time I land a C172 on the Fraser river coming in from the east over No 2. Road bridge, at the seaplane terminal, I get a CTD. If I delete the CYVR from FSimStudios, and I follow the same route and land at roughly the same spot, it doesn't CTD for me. Is anybody else experiencing this same problem? This is mainly for those who thought that their investments in expensive hardware components were made unnecessary by the recent sim updates. Admitted, this was one of my first thoughts too. There have also been some comments in the forums that MS/AS have capped VRAM and RAM usage for better performance. As most of you know, this was not true, neither for SU 5 nor with the later upcoming hotfixes. I can get my hardware (RTX 3090 and an o/c CPU) close to the limits. But most importantly, the performance it is still rock solid, no stutters, 30 fps and only very short pop-ins which are acceptable for me. Wanna try? Anyone else tried these two at the same time? At the moment, I get a CTD after hitting "Fly" from the world map with both of these active. No issues with either one but not the other active. Not sure where to go from here, report it to FBW, or to Roman Design? Both? Thanks, ...jim

A lot of people have complained about how terrible the latest update has been for them, and hopefully now that we have the hot fix the sim will run as it should. But what I can't understand, and it seems to have happened to me every time there is an update or a hot fix, is why Microsoft have made it so difficult to find and download the hot fix? I thought it was just me, but it seems many have had to struggle to get what should be very simple accomplished. Why do we have to go to the Microsoft Store, sign in, then find the right page to get the hot fix, then find the right three little dots?? Creating, maintaining and upgrading a sophisticated complex simulation like MSFS…

... or do you still get irrealistic "T" at altitude ? What about the "pressure altitude" bug ?

Has anybody tried these as opposed to the "game ready" drivers and does it help with any of the post SU5 problems?

I hope it's just me, but I simply cannot get the Cessna Longitude engines to start from cold and dark. N2 hangs up at 25% for both engines. It's hard to tell what positions the engine start switches are in as there are no lights. The fuel boost pumps and the fuel valves don't show any indication. I checked to see if I was missing an update, and I'm not. I've got the latest mod (LongitudeFDEfix 1.85) installed. It worked like a champ before the SU5, and it says that it's supposed to work after. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong because I haven't read of anyone else having a problem.

Something I’ve had happening since SU5…for example my flight last night was Air Canada 220. Today I took out the husky and entered a new registration C-GBLR…there was no entry showing in the airline callsign or flight number in the customization menu. However in game ATC refers to me as Air Canada 220 rather than C-GBLR. The C-GBLR registration appears properly on the aircraft however. Anyone else experiencing this or have a workaround? I never deleted the Air Canada 220 callsign from the customization screen myself so I’m guessing the sim thinks it’s still there even though it doesn’t appear for me to delete?

Hello, I wonder if anyone could help me. Ever since Sim Update 5, some items in my Community Folder no longer work in sim. These are mostly liveries. (I have made sure that these have been updated to be compatible with the update). When I open the Content Manager in game, these items show as "Not Installed". I am at a loss as to how to fix this, I have tried using "MSFS Addons Linker" but this still doesn't solve the problem. TIA Joe

Downloaded the update. Installed and started. Already had vsync on and FR locked at 30. Turned on Nvidia FR counter and saw I was getting Sixty + FPS. Surely a mistake. So I went to dev and turned on dev FR counter. Same thing. Then I locked my frames at sixty. FR counter is now reporting 85+ and its consistent, smooth, without tears and I have never been more happier. Since the last update my scenery looks like I am looking at it though a screen door. I thought maybe the Hot Fix 2 would cure it, but no joy. Still the same. My version is 1.18.15.0 so I assume the hot fix is installed, but I never saw it happen. Anyone else seeing this effect?

So I had the darndest time getting the ms store to update to 1.18.15.0. I had to install an xbox app (in addition to the xbox game bar and xbox console companion apps that I had from way before). After installing this new xbox app, I could go back to the MS store, click "get updates", and the sim would finally update. See details in this thread here:

Obviously the community folder takes precedence over the default scenery. What happens if you add two different addons for the same airport? Which takes precedence? I want to install some packs but I want to know what I'm getting into in terms of conflicts.

Hi, sorry for that stupid question but is it really true that one cannot disable POI markers in the newly introduced Discovery flights? Dropdown only gives me optins to cycle trought them but not tio disable.Have disabled them in the assistance menu tough. Thank you!
