Hi!, I am tired of trying to update to the hot fix patches, after going through a lot of suggestion and instructions form others I could not update to version 1.18.14.0. now I have the same problem with hot fix 2, I have tried a lot of different suggestions but no luck. So if anybody kindly give some workable solution then it will be great help to many people like my self. Thanking you top guys in advance. Thanks

The 208b realism mod was updated today. Prior version was 2108.4. This mod is good to go. It was created with input from RL 208b pilots. I've been using this mod since 2020, and so do most of the people I fly with. I have never really had problems before, but all of sudden I get stuck at the "Checking for Updates" screen. I've tried a few times with the same result. Is anyone else seeing the same? EDIT - Left it for several minutes and eventually it went through. Very odd. Disregard.

I installed MSFS two days ago and have been able to get past the attached pic about half the time. It appears that all of your settings are uploaded and saved and then downloaded on the next restart. I say this because it seems you have to start all over again from accessibility, graphics settings etc. I've tried a few suggestions from over at their forum, signing in/out of Xbox/Microsoft Store but that didn't help.Interne tconnection is fine. Anyone else run into this and find a solution? Thanks, Mark

Obvious that some members here have in frustration ditched their MS Store MSFS installation in favor of a fresh purchase and installation of MSFS from Steam. Question of this topic is this. Are previous purchases made from the Marketplace during the MS Store installation subsequently available without repurchase for the Steam installation? There seems to be a lot of replay and recording apps being released. I lost track. Does anyone know what the best one is? I'm looking for something simple to watch my takeoff and landings mostly from any camera angle and from drone cam, with the ability to export and trim the clip out to an mp4.

Does anyone know how to bind ‘Ready to Fly’ and ‘Resume’ post SU 5 and post patch (ie in 1.18.14.0)? Seems to be possible via mouse clicks only. It used to be ‘Enter’ and ‘Esc’ pre SU 5 which I found convenient for my setup. Thanks.

I have read and and watched video's on this subject, and there is a lot of confusion on how to set up the TBM throttle. After much experimenting, I have found a setup which behaves almost exactly like the real TBM ( which I'll explain later ). You only need one throttle ( not two as in the video's ) and three button assignments ( not switches ). I have this setup on my Bravo, but these assignments should work on any throttle. Assignments as follows: Throttle. Set this up as normal to throttle axis ( no reverse ). Reverse thrust . I got a very odd problem! As soon as I press "FLY" MSFS CTD. I have tried emptying community folder, load sim in safe mode, restart PC, change controls profile and etc. Basically I tried anything I could think of! However, results is the same: MSFS loads fine but as soon as I go fly "FLY" sim crashes. Now the odd thing MSFS doesn't crash after pressing "FLY" with all aircraft. So far I found that PMDG DC-6 or H145 do not cause CTD. However, stock C-172, Bell 47H- Husky, Dimond all crash the moment I press "FLY". Any thoughts will be appreciated ! Has anyone experienced anything like that?

I don't mean to slight anyone, but I never look inside airports and I'm not even sure how to do it. You may look one time, but some sceneries have so much detail inside the buildings, as seen in the screenshots, it's crazy. I guess in RL, you pull up to an airport, walk through the building and get into your plane. I've done that myself and it does add immersion, I guess. You would probably never stop in the control tower however. Should we add cars to the sim so you can drive from your home😊? Some of the screens look beautiful, but i don't think I need to pay for the extra work. I can understand if an enthusiast works on a complete project. That's his/her pleasure.…

Hello all, My last two uninstalls and reinstalls have not included the Boeing 747. It is not in the Official folder nor is it included in the aircraft selection page. I do however have all the aircraft liveries which I have previously downloaded ie QANTAS and Virgin etc. I can only conclude that somebody has stolen it and I am about to start an official police investigation LOL Can somebody please tell me how I can reinstall it as it is not included in my reinstalls. Also, I just downloaded and installed the new Flightsim.to "Generic A320 Traffic" and subsequently downloaded as many relevant liveries, ie Australian (as I only fly in Australia) QANTAS…

I am trying to download Airbus380-v4.zip [814.35 mb], from a link on the MSFSaddon.com site. However the link acts like click bait as all the Download links on it show, in small print, that what they are offering for download is something called 'Quick Search', which appears to be tied to Yahoo. I got a jump on this by switching my Four Seasons Trees to Fall, last week. Been flying all over Europe and the trees looks fantastic, love this add on.

I have been a pretty big advocate for MSFS because i can clearly see the potential for this platform. But here we are a year out still fighting crashes, and serious bugs. Regarding crashes, half the flights i have attempted have ended in CTDs, and i no longer use my CH Yoke, TrackIR, add-ons, overclocking, config tweaks, NVIDIA Inspector, etc. I really can’t go any more “stock” than i am now, and i am still getting crashes. Throw in the update issues that many users are experiencing (it is 2021!) and i think it is time for Asobo and the MSFS team to rethink how the code base is being managed. The uncertainty of MSFS between updates is really hurting the franchise, tbh. …

Until recently my ai traffic has included a variety 737 appropriately modeled. For a few days now the 737s have disappeared often replaced by genaric models and other ai models are invisible. Any suggestions to restore them would be appreciated.

Yestarday (Sunday) I added new request on Zendesk (as bug, noticed spike on mesh in one place). What I noticed, suddenly after pressing „confirm” button, this new, created request, on the same time changes status as ….solved (and I cant reopen it as it was before, solved all the time). Did they change a rules and all are solved, so no bugs in MSFS? 😎

The altitude set is at 99000 and stays there. I can't change it. I can't click on CDI to change my indicator to GPS. this is the latest .6 from the store. Anyone else? I'm about ready to go back to steam gauges.

I would like to change the DEFAULT vanilla cockpit camera view in the C172. So that when I hit 'F' on the keyboard or push down on my Right Control stick on my Xbox Controller it will reset it to that. How to do this? I'm not talking about creating custom camera views, but to replace the default one.

Hello, It seems that this version still has more bugs/issues. Last time was that the autopilot didnt work/engage. But was able to function once I removed the livery I was using, according to Flybywire website that was a Known issue.......Today just a couple minutes ago...ATC instructed me to climb to 8,000ft after departure. Which I set for the autopilot. I took off and started climbing. During the climb I heard like couple of clicks it seem something turn off or disegage. But all seem ok. After a couple of minutes I notice that the Autopilot turned off and I had pass 8,000FT so ATC instructed me to descend to 8,000FT but the plane didnt r…
