I currently have my Trackir controls (on/off & center) bound to keyboard buttons. I would very much like to bind these controls to my Warthog Throttle or Stick buttons in MSFS. Is this possible and if so how can this be accomplished?

Never cared too much about animals in MSFS, until I tried the black bears in Yosmite. Really realistically looking when flying over and does give that extra bit of livelyness that I hope to see more in the future. Perhaps an add-on for adding wildlife to the scenery would be a nice idea.

They keep the floor so clean in the hangar and my stock aircraft look so shiny. The polish they use on my trusty Caravan can't be that durable though cos it falls off once in the air😉 I demand better polish otherwise I want my money back.

Sim rate is mapped by default to the R keypress, but it doesnt work for me, Is there other way to do it ? Thanks

I have both the throttle and yolk, and both are not working to well. With the yolk, every plane I fly always rolls to the left. If I level out, let go for a second and it's rolling fairly quick to the left. The rest of it seems fine. I've tried the calibration mode a few times. As for the throttle. None of the aircraft follow the heading command. It's illuminated on both the quadrant and the aircrafts flight control panel and it's not following the bug. No idea if this is Sim update issue or if I'm doing something wrong.

I don't use rudder pedals but until I started flying the 787-10 it's not been much of an issue, that is the issue I'm having with this plane: when I turn the yoke to ground steer the rate of turn increases until about the midpoint of fully turning the yoke, then after that it wants to decrease the rate of turn such that when the yoke is fully turned either direction the plane was to straighten out. I don't recall this behavior in FSX/P3D--it would keep increasing, though within a maximum turn. I played around w/ sensitivities but haven't improved over the default sensitivities. I noticed after SU5 that the cockpits tooltips text is exageratedly big, as I dont want to disable them, is there a way to make them smaller ? Thanks

The sim looks beautiful up close but awful with distant mountains (even on the loading screen, the screenshots look like a mush to be honest in the distance) I have terrain LOD 4.0 set, any more and I get unacceptable stuttering on the ground. Is there a way to improve this situation? All my textures are on Ultra. Any other workarounds or is it just something we have to live with? I'm surprised it's not talked about more, how great close things look and how godawful far away things are blurred.

Well another MSFS update and this one needs to be done via the Microsoft Store which is a pain in the neck to say it politely. I have tried that I consider to be everything and still cannot run MSFS. I found a Youtube tutorial showing how to get around the identified problem and followed it exactly (in Microsoft Store search for XBOX and then LAUNCH then click on the 3 dots (...) and Microsoft Flight Simulator Update will appear - but it doesn't. Meanwhile I can't run MSFS. Has anyone found how to install this latest update (6) and if so please explain to me who thinks he must be a dummy.

So I have an i7 4970k 4.0Ghz, 16GB and a 1070. Flying GA I can lock at 30 and its pretty consistent in most conditions/locations. However my rig really struggles in the FBW A320 or CRJ particularly in dense locations on approach. I sometimes get a lot of stutter and the dreaded "you are about to CTD" blips in sound. I have fiddled with umpteen settings in the sim and outside, nothing really helped. Anyway to keep it short the other day I set the sim to locked 20FPS and what a difference. Ok its not 30FPS or higher but I'll be honest the more I fly the more I'm getting used and 20FPS in MSFS feels way higher than 20FPS in xPlane or P3D imo. One thing for sure …

I've just downloaded the latest 0.8.0 version and am really liking it. Much better than Volanta. Is anyone else here using it? Also does anyone have airframe for the FBWA320NX that they could share or any other aircrafts. I would like to add them into STKP.

Ever since I found out that the logic was all wrong for turboprops in MSFS (torque & ITT at altitude mainly), I have been loath to fly turboprops until this was fixed. That's been some time ago and I know they were supposed to address that in the updates since. Have they? Is it not only corrected but also refined well enough that it's enjoyable to fly? I liked the TBM a lot early on, especially with the mod, and I got to thinking it's about time to get back in it.

Question for you guys - I'm attempting an ILS approach at LSGS Scion Airport in the Swiss Alps but as you can see in the screenshot the ILS beam is going to run me into the ground. I'm on APR autopilot with lateral and vertical control enabled and dead center. However I'm going to run into the ground in about 30 seconds. Has anyone else run into this before?

I have been trying to assign prop feathering to a detent on my Bravo throttle. I have tried several different settings with zero luck. Does anyone know how to do it?

Had custom mouse settings...thought that was it....set them to default. Since the SU I can't "push" any rotary switches with the left mouse (on any profile)...like on the Garmins. I can rotate with the mousewheel as usual...but no pushbutton. Also, before the SU I could fwd/back roll my mouse wheel to activate switches, on the Mooney for example on the fuel selector, mouse wheel controlled it. Now it doesn't. Can't even "grab" the dang thing to move it off the "Off" position. Hard to fly with no fuel! 🙂 And finally....how in the HE11 do you get those dang blue highlights off the knobs when you hover over them? I thought it was under assistance...I have ALL…

I must be blind, stupid or both of them, but I do not get those custom liveries working in my MSFS. Could it be that installing MSFS in a fully customized location might interfere with installation of custom liveries? I tried putting them into the folder I have all my stuff including the three ORBX sceneries (they work): D:\MSFS_Temp\community\liveries-A320 as an example. In this liveries-A320 folder, some *.locPak, some *.json files are included and another folder called "SimObjects". That is how it should be, no? I also tried to install them via AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe, but in this folder, I do not find any subfolder anyw…

I was getting good FPS during flights but still some stutters at big airports. The steps below made quite a difference. It's what I have found reading some threads, I don't take the credit. 1. Graphics Ultimate Preset and leave it. 2. Sound -> ATC text to speech settings OFF 3. May want to restart MSFS. 4. Developer Mode ON, Save settings 5. Developer Mode OFF, Save settings

I have just started flying the VL-3 , its a fast machine and great fun. However it has no autopilot. The keyboard autopilot commands dont work either. Its glass cockpit display does show a setting for ALT & VS though. Is there a way to add AP to this plane? Can I mod the .cfg (if so could someone tell me where its located?) Thanks for any info.

LFOT airport near the French city of Tours does not seem to be in MSFS2020. It is a popular destination served by Ryan Air from London Stansted. It seems surprising that this airport is not in the simulator when every other French city with airline service is in the sim, as well as hundreds of smaller airfields.
