Hi! How do I change from hdg mode to NAV-mode. Tried to pull/push the hdg-bug but in the PFD it says both hdg and NAV. hdg in green and NAV in blue.

O.K., I'm new to the Airbus world on MSFS. (I had the Aerosoft A320 on P3D.) Before going to the Fenix, I have been trying to get through FBW's tutorial flight using the experimental version (so I can get working VNAV). I've flown it several times already, and always have the same problem. Everything is fine until I'm on final. Approach phase selected and confirmed, APP mode selected, both APs on, gear down, flaps dropped to 3. I drop the flaps to the final detent...and the aircraft seems to forget anything about managed speed, drops the airspeed to somewhere around 100, and triggers the Alpha Floor protection. Well, I took the plunge and bought it 🙂 After the install night, a couple days ago, I watched a few videos ( the FSElite Tutorials are really good for Install & Conf ) and last night went for a short hop from Faro ( LPFR ) to Lisboa ( LPPT ). I used the EFB on an external device - Surface 3 Pro - and loaded the aircraft in the state where it's being feed by the CART and PAC. All went well, it's very well done and I really love the functionality of the EFB, and the way I have to type some data into the MCDU instead of magically clicking a LSK and miraculously but irrealistically having it done for me.... Hi , my Windows C drive has 400GB to spare so i was wondering how i can make that visible to MSFS and install addons to that folder also .MSFS Is installed on another drive (O:MSFS) and (O:MSFS/Michael/Community) For instance a /MSFS/EXTRA Community folder on the C drive? Thanks Michael Moe

Hello guys, with the release I brought the Box Version of MSFS. But due to my bad system it was not playable for me. Now I have a new System and try a new install of MSFS. After the first Launch MSFS asks me to download another 130GB Update. Now I download over 14 hours and it only gets to 6%. With this speed I nearly have to wait 10 days to complete the download. In this case MSFS is totally unplayable for me, there is no chance for waiting such a long time. Is there any possibillity to hurry up the download speed e.g.?

Hello all, I have shimmering problem with many custom airports and buildings. I think this problem is related to manufactures technic. Some scenery developer is caring about it some is not. So is there any setting at nvidia control panel to reduce these annoying shimmerings?

I didn't see a thread here so I have linked the official forum discussion, there is some good stuff from the developer. I like her, but I am a vintage junky. She is not for the magenta line crowd although the X model does have a (not removable) gps. I know water physics are not great right now but she handles as well as any other boat/amphib on the water. Yesterday i had a beautiful 3,5h flight ( allmost 😒 ) from Greece to Germany EDDS. I am on ILS/GS on my way to RW25 eagerly awaiting the touchdown but around 2-3 nm before the runway a nice red error windows pops up telling me some memory was failed and bla,bla,bla.. Yea and thats it and was the end of my 3,5h flight, holy, they still there around these memory errors ! Tought they have it fixed but seems i was wrong with these thoughts.. Just annoying such red windows ! cheers 🤔

Where is the best source to buy msfs from as far as receiving updates, downloads and such? I will be using it on a PC.. And is it even worth getting the deluxe versions or just get the basic? Because I doubt most of the aircraft offered have good realism qualities as of yet.. I am waiting on developers like A2A, which will be coming soon I hear. Thank you!

Yeah, the title is deliberate clickbait..ha ha. At any rate, the ifly series of 737 jets was one of my favorite addons for P3D - a terrific package, terrifically priced. Hi everyone, I've been searching about this for some time, I saw a few posts but nothing that would address the issue: Every time I am flying on VATSIM network with MSFS2020, at various phases of the flight, from preparation to push/start to taxiing to takeoff etc, the active frequency on vPilot will change a few times to something else. What I usually do is set the appropriate frequency, i.e. 122.800 if no ATC available or the ATC frequency, then prepare my flight, then it will change without me knowing so and I find myself in some very embarrassing situations where the active ATC is pinging me to connect again because I do not respond while taxiing for example…

First, thanks to Cpt_Piett for alerting us to this great utility! Two questions: 1. How do I save comments in the log? The popup shows "saved!" even before I type anything and I don't see any button to do the actual save. 2. There must be a way to hide the logbook popup, which covers a good portion of the map, while analyzing a saved flight? I tried to drag, minimize to no avail. Closing it removes the flight from the map. Thanks for any help. Philippe

Did anyone have a successful push back? If so I must be doing something wrong! Push back option is available to me initially in EFB, but when I fire APU and finish boarding it become permanently greyout. MSFS ground services doesn't work either. Any help is appreciated !
