Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

When I turned on the sim today noticed some new music on startup, kind of put me to sleep.

Curious if anyne knows a way to search Airlines in the job market that use a particular type before you purchase a license for it without having to open the airlines detail page one at a time? In otherwords I wan to know who is operating the equipent type (in this case MD-80 series) before I buy the license to see what the opportunities/ route are available before handing over my hard earned virtual cash.

MG probably needs some luv at this point so I feel a positive HJet thread is in order. My favorite things about this plane are: 1) I nailed my very first landing. 2) VNAV actually worked as expected. 3) The plane model is a piece of art. sp

Personally I have been lucky so far, yes a few CTD's, I bought Fs 2020 about 16 months ago, overall I have had very few problems, performance has been pretty good, very, very ;little stuttering, anyway I just wanted to share some of my settings, I surely get lots of better performance than FSX, which was a stutter problem from the get go. Can someone let me know if there is a proper way to calibrate my rudder pedals or what sensitivity settings I should be using? When landing, I have been noticing the plane being much harder to control and to keep on the centerline. For example, my last flight I had a little cross wind but nothing too crazy. I landed on the centerline, de-crabbed but found that when I applied reverse thrust, the plane would veer off violently making it impossible to control. I have the hotas warthog thrust lever and mapped a button to apply reverse thrust but I don't think there is a conflict with the rudder or my pedals. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, What’s the current opinion on replay tools? I’m looking to record and playback in external view, hopefully in decent quality and it matching flaps down, spoilers deployed etc… I see there’s one in Dev tools but the top bar annoys me. I also see a couple on flightsim.to and a paid for one which looks a little clunky. Thankful for any suggestions. Mike

Flying in VR , both the Maddog and BAE 146 EFB stand a little proud of the side window obscuring some of the downward view. Is it possible to relocate or hide the EFB ?

Hi, I made my first purchase on the Store/Market today: the Carenado M20R Ovation. It installed through the Content Manager but unlike other addons (aircrafts, sceneries, utilities...) I bought from Orbx, Simmarket, or from the developers, it did not install in the Community folder. Where did it install? Maybe it did not install in the Community folder because the files are encrypted or something?

I am needing to download A330 Its forcing me to join Discord.. Its not in TO folder. I joined in Discord I am in and I don't know how to navigate.. Its not simple. Its boggles my mind... There is no simple download button! How do I download this plane! Anyone

The zoom level in the cockpit is one thing I feel I can never get quite right in MSFS, and I find myself adjusting it for different planes. So I was wondering what setting people use? I've seen many YouTubers that use a very zoomed out level in the sim - for example, Q8Pilot's Sling S4 video - he looks so far away from the panel that it appears he's sitting on the horizontal stabilizer! 😄 At the moment I have the cockpit zoom level set to 50, but I don't know what true FOV this relates to, and in some aircraft it doesn't look right. I know preconfigured camera views affects this too (eg. if the default view is too close to , or far from, the panel).

Good day all, I am very new to MSFS and find myself struggling with a number of issues. The most annoying one at the moment is that every time I launch the game through Steam I have to wait sometimes up to 5 minutes while it (re)installs the latest 117 GB update. May I ask if this is normal? If not, please can I have advice as to how to correct the fault? Thank you.

When I go fly, after about half an hour my frames drop from 35-40 to even 9 ! Simply unflyable...And that is since SU9. Is this going to be fixed ?

I bought it, thinking that I wouldn't fly it much. Really didn't have any expectations at all. I think this plane deserves a solid 9/10. A bit of background, I've flown turboprops (King Air) and have a bit of time in them, but never a single engine turboprop. Hi everyone, i installed the AIG modelmatching for MFS2020 and i´ve been installing liveries lot of time, all liveries works good but the Iberia A320-200 CFM aircraft appears me like a 320 NEO default aircraft. Also the 319 and 321 aircrafts of Iberia , instead Iberia Express works good in all aircrafts , here is how i see the traffic of Iberia fleet (1º picture) and here is my modelmatching magic app with the iberia aircrafts (2º image) my community folder with the modelmatching : inside the 320-200 CFM folder inside the model.IBE-iberia folder : thank you!

Up until now and while waiting for the PMDG 737, I haven't bought many airports but now with the 737 released, I'm planning to get some more highly detailed airports. Since I do all my flying in Europe, that is the area I'm interested in. Should also mention I do all my flying online on Vatsim. Meaning I prefer airports with no static aircraft models. Or at least, an option where I can switch static aircraft models OFF. So far, these are the airports I have. Anyone know what scenery add-ons are causing all ground service vehicles to vanish when using the FBW A320? Is it the material libraries folders? I can't seem to figure out what is causing this.

Forgive me if this has already been discussed but it looks like there's some different unconventional mapping going on with the speed brakes and reverse thrust in this bird. Is there a way to program the speed brake where we can just grab the handle and manipulate it? Also the same question I'm asking with reverse thrust, can we program it to be accessible like every other jet with reverse thrust in the sim? Not sure why PMDG took liberties here and made something complicated that didn't need to be complicated (some developers do this thinking it's smart but it throws off basic continuity in the sim in comparison to every other installed aircraft). Hello, So I was doing a flight plan and had been on auto pilot for a good 20 minutes all going fine and all of a sudden my aircraft banking right at 45 degrees, so I took over leveled off the aircraft and turned autopilot back on and it's then banked hard left while dropping out of the sky. Then leveled it out again myself turned auto pilot back on and was fine for the rest of the duration. Just wondering why it did that? Also another point if someone could help, why does my aircraft decend so slowly when Im coming up to the approach phase of flight. Thank you very much in advance.

Is there a way to turn down the eng sounds down abit, tried going to general options turned down engs to zero didn't have any effect at all. Reason being is trying to use pilot2atc and found out the replies in the air is very quiet and hard to hear with the eng sounds. The only way i found to get the eng sounds to a min is to turn my head phone simulation to on. Thought there might be a sound option in the cdu but couldnt find it
