Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Trying to report a PFD issue with the HJet. FlightFX referred me to their Discord, so I clicked the invite. The entire FlightFX server is read-only, at least for me. Several other FS servers are fine, but FlightFX will not allow me post, react or create a ticket. I tried to access FlightFX by email, with no acknowledgement. Tried Messenger, where I was directed to Discord. Any ideas on how to get help? Thank you, Mark

When I watch YouTube videos, people are able to walk in and out of the plane or into the cabin. How is this accomplished?

My budget was spent for FS stuff in May but as soon as the first part of June hit I purchased the Fenix A320. I was originally going to wait until the IAE engine and sharklet option and even possibly an announcement for other variants but in the end I really wanted to give this plane a try. Plus the best way to support a product and possibly see more development is to support the developer. Nothing really new to add other then its pretty cool. If you have a hard time keeping your aircraft straight on the runway (or it pulls to the opposite side it's supposed to), adjust the value for engine_wash_on_roll in flight_model.cfg. If its negative the plane will pull to the right, positive will pull to the left, and zero will make it go straight.

I am unable to control the steering for taxi and takeoff. I wander all over the place. I have the Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals I have tried several settings in the sensitivity settings and nothing helps. Learning to fly the FBY A32NX. Have had no problems with this on GA aircraft. Thanks, Roy

allright Asobo, PG is nice for VR, but with tube liners it's giving me the stutters.......switched it off when flying the Fenix. Maybe in the future with ddr5 and faster CPU's I will switch back again. Yes I know, PG is why MSFS is so exceptional ( it has it flaws ), but it's too heavy.

I have tried following one of the YouTube tutorials on setting up & flying an ILS landing in the MD-82, without success. When I am 'in the feathers' & under 3,000', I can't get VOR LOC to capture, or G/S TRK to appear, when I hit the ILS button. (HDG HLD & ALT HLD remain steady in the status box & I just fly down the length of the runway, without losing the approach height) I have copied the tutorial settings as regards NAV & Course & am scratching my head over what actions I could be missing out. Are there any 'step by step' written, or video, MD-82 ILS landing guides anywhere? T45

Hey, So, long term flight simmer here who wandered off to DCS. Used to have P3D (V3-5) with ProATC/X. Now we're getting some tubeliners in MSFS I'm looking at coming back to it. Particularly the PMDG 737 in my case. My main question here is which of the current or imminent offline ATC programs is closest to Pro ATC/X in function? The biggest thing I'm looking for is the ability to paste or export a route from simbrief, then have the program automatically add SIDS and STARS to it without me needing to tell it to - Pro ATC/X had a tickbox option for it from memory. Can't seem to find much info on the Top Gun update and what it breaks in FS2020. I cannot get the app to load at all now. Is there a forthcoming fix/patch from Asobo expected? Are others experiencing this same symptom? What's the latest?

Attention fellow Chancellor flyers, a new version of the C414 is available from FSW today, with many fixes and features. Download the full new installer from the FSW site. The installer will uninstall your old version before installing v2.1.1. Still no native keyboard command support, but as Guesseli's AAO script works beautiful, I'm personally no longer bothered about that!

I would like to get an idea of what people are using for their main pilot inside cockpit view. Could you guys share some screenshots. I'm trying to get mine as close to real life but I've never actually sat in the pilot's seat of an A320 before.

The FBW started, as we know as a mod to the Asobo Default Airbus, which meant it depended on it being installed. It has been independent from it now for quite some time, but I never actually tried to find out whether "independent" really means that it doesn't need the default Airbus installed. So the question is: Can I uninstall the default Airbus and the FBW will still remain functional?

Could someone familiar with the PMDG 737 explain this mystery to me? I'm rather pleased with my progress in learning to manually program the FMC. But here's what invariably happens just after I land. I'll make a flawless flight (more or less), receiving no error messages or honking horns at all. I'll follow the LNAV flight path and the VNAV altitude and speed targets (more or less). I'll capture the glide slope and make an impressively smooth landing and come to a stop -- at which time the horn starts honking and won't quit under any circumstances. I get no error message. Still can’t quite work this one out: are Marketplace purchases that are moved to other drives recognized as installed or not? I usually move mine via addonlinker so they don’t clog up my SSD, but when I go to Content Manager they’re listed under both installed and uninstalled tabs. My concern is missing updates, especially as I can’t see any way to check current version numbers on the Marketplace, although the installed version is clearly noted in the Content Manager. Having said that many of my Marketplace addons are later versions than 1.0 so maybe they’re updating with other updates?

I have saitek X-55 throttles with no detentes and I find it very hard to retard throttles to idle detent at 20 feet (I should stop like 20% of throttles back travel for idle detent position), is there a way to assign reversers to another axis and just leave throttles to be lowered all the way for idle detent?

Good day folks, I received most of my parts for a new build apart from a few pieces, hopefully have the new build completed over the weekend. I will be starting from scratch with msfs and considering a few things, looking for general opinion 1) previous system I bought msfs through the microsoft store, it isn’t a pleasant experience and contemplating re-purchasing through steam to hopefully avoid update headaches etc. not sure whether the cost of a new copy would be worth it, has anyone switched from the Microsoft store edition to the steam edition that can kindly offer an opinion on whether it was worth the re-purchase? 2) being as how I will be starting …

Hi Guys I can get init to work thru aoc menu but after thats done your suppose to go to init page and hit insert flt plan one more time - seen youtube video on this but mine does nothing on second init insert - any ideas ?

Hi all, This is very likely me but having setup custom cockpit cameras for the fenix 320, i thought that once a cutom camera had been setup that the camera position worked across all aircraft types. Is this not the case? I thought i would be able to use the same camera positions for the fbw a320 but when i press the keyboard keys for the camera positions i had setup for the fenix nothing happens and the view does not change in the fbw a320. I have made copies of the keyboard profiles and my key presses are correct but no view change happens. Any idea why Thanks
