Hey, I took the plunge and got the PMDG 737 :-) I've watched a few YouTube videos on lights and most are just simmers not pilots and leave me a bit uncertain on the info they give. Anyway - is there a good explanation on what lights should be used when, taxi, landing, under 10,000ft, on the gate, when running etc..

  3. Bought this add-on when it was first released and then uninstalled it. I'm wondering with the updates it's had has it improved since release (AI at right airports, AI properly landing at airports, AI operating around the airport as they should)? It's hard to see how when the core AI engine is broken but just wondering.😏

  5. Hi everyone, I'm not a night flyer (except for transcontinental flights) and my preferred time for (VFR) flying in the sim is either early morning or late afternoon/early evening. The reasons are: 1. The landscape is beautiful at dawn/dusk, the light is sweet and easy on the eyes, except if you look at the sun of course. By the way, I noticed that many promo screenshots are done at dawn/dusk. 2. At other times of the day, the light is 'blinding' and the scenery is kind of 'washed'. But perhaps that's the way it is in real life. How about you guys? I'm curious.

I have posted similar in the past, but I wanted to ask a more clarifying question to the community here. I understand that some (all?) of the WT group are consulting (or employees of?) MS (or Asobo?). I also understand that they also continue development on their own with their own products (freeware) and have a discord (which I do visit). Curiosity question for us here: Have we seen any specific results from their work in the MSFS base product via official MSFS updates? (not mods available from the MS store), just in the SU and WU packages. Just trying to get an idea here of how much influence WT has had on MSFS to date as I am really excited about WT a…

  12. Hi: For some reason all of a sudden, I am getting Hand Instead of a Pointer when I try to manipulate a knob. For example, when trying to set the pressure to STD where you typically get a "pointer" to do so, I get a "hand" and can't push. This is tru for all AP buttons as well. I can turn the knobs, just can't push when pushing is required. This is the case on all AC I have tried. Hope I am explaining this ok. Any thoughts? Thanks, Dave

  13. I've just purchased the TDS GTN 750 from their site. Paid by PayPal, all went through, PayPal receipt received, further receipt from "2Checkout" received. But, an hour later, I still have no email with any download links, and my account at TDS states "You have not purchased any products yet". Just wondering what happened for others who purchased. Will the product magically appear in my TDS account at some point, or will I eventually receive an email with a download link? Thanks.

  15. Anyone knows a video that shows how to manually recreate a SID (or any procedure) in the (Fenix) MCDU? I planned a flight and SimBrief as well as the EFB Navigraph showed a SID that was nowhere to be found in the MCDU. Very odd... I tried to recreate the SID manually (by looking at the chart) but in the end simply did a Direct to the exit waypoint. 😉 Worked fine but I'd like to know how to recreate a procedure with all radials and stuff as shown on the chart. Should I create user waypoints for that or can you simply add points with radials and all directly into the flightplan? And if anyone knows how it is possible that a SID is completely missing from the MCDU while…

My apologies if this has been dealt with before but the problem I am experiencing is as follows. I have set TAB + 1 to save a camera position in the cockpit and 1 to recall the position. However, after saving it and then pressing 1, I don't get exactly the same view!. And when I press 1 again it moves to another view. I have watched numerous videos explaining camera views but I just can't seem to get it right. Can someone please help ☹️

I have lost my AG Trees in parts of Italy. I deleted WU9 after I decided it was not worth the SSD space. Trees were there in some of the areas that I tested after I deleted the download. An internal update was issued by ASOBO that reduced the number of trees. I am wondering if others have been affected. From north east and down to north of Bari coastline is missing the vegetation. you can start at Ancona. Anyone else? Can this be fixed? I have a feeling I need to wait until SU10, but I figured I'd check. Thanks. Jose

  18. The issue is the ADF radio old timey flip digit readouts will not display the 2 left most digits, and the other digits are not well aligned. The cure is to remove the Redwing L-1049 from community (manually or with addon-linker). Then the Aeroplane Heaven's Electra10a plane's radio panel will read the ADF digits properly. I have no idea why Redwings Lockheed interferes with Airplane Heaven's Lockheed !! There are 3 versions of the Electra in the package (including Amelia Earhart's plane and one with a glass screen). The ADF radio is the same in all 3 versions). (ADF freq is 891.3) Electra, if (the other plane) L-1049 is installed in community…

I only am worried how far backwards to the monitor from the front of the desktop does it extend. The only image of measurements I can see on the internet has the numbers to small to read:

  23. Intro by @Aamir from their Discord: Hello @everyone (I've used "Hello Everyone" like 5 times in a row now, someone please think of something new and send in suggestions on a postcard) - sorry it took us so long to get this patch out to you. We had some very complex changes to make with a large knock-on impact to other areas. TL;DR The big things worth noting: - More performance improvements (up to 25% w/ an average of 16% across our testers - CPU on Quality/Balanced showing the most improvement) - Installer fixes/improvements - Lots of crash fixes (start-up etc) - Better panel state behaviour (spawning at gate will be truly cold & dark now) - Keyboard F/CTL suppo…

"Gawd...but do I LOVE this plane!"----> Great immersion, intuitive cockpit and displays...TONS of user driven variables...comportment....WOW, WOW, and WOW! Just landed at Myrtle Beach, inbound from Flint, Michigan...and this is certainly, now, my go-to 'sled' for mostly ...well, everything! Best bang for the MSFS buck, I have seen! A tip....for anybody that has the MSFS load bar seem to stall at around 55-70 percent load in....merely open up the Task Manager Window...and then wait three seconds and close it. I believe that there is a MSFS SU9 'glitch' between MSFS SU9 and W10/11, that hangs W10/11. When you force W10/11 to focus on the Task Ma…
