Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi everyone, New user coming from FSX/P3D here. I installed MSFS today an found that amazingly, with my modest system (i5 4670K 4.3 Ghz, GTX 1080, RAM 32 Gb, SSD, 2K GSync monitor), the sim is fluid with most graphics settings on High and a few on Ultra. I've seen GA aicrafts from Just Flight, Carenado, Simworks Studios... But nothing yet at the level of A2A or former RealAir. Or did I miss something?

Hello does anybody know why or how to fix a problem I am having with my LOGITECH EXTREME 3D PRO joystick in FS 2020...? The issue is that the "Throttle Slider" keeps working in reverse...i.e. power (Thrust) "up" is slider down instead of up and power "down" is slider up instead of down. I have tried many times to "Bind" it correctly as described in all the internet links I have looked at but to no avail including unchecking the " Reverse Axis" box. The slide graphic shows the correct orientation when I set it up and I save it, but when I try to then fly the throttle input stays reversed...! Frustrating...!!! Thanks anybody...

Ten years of GA and I purchased the Fenix Airbus A320. Very happy with it and can go from cold and dark to shutting down comfortably. The EFB is one reason why this aircraft is straightforward to learn. I am having a blast flying an airliner again, so much so I have re-joined Vatsim! I have said I would hold off getting the PMDG B737 because there is no EFB yet. However, I would love to have a go at the Boing way of doing things, so I am thinking of getting it before the EFB is released. My question is, will I enjoy the B737 now I'm used to the EFB in the Fenix? Maybe I would be frustrated with the PMDG without it? Anybody have both and don't find the PMDG lack…

Hi everyone, As I understand Flight1 and Reality XP propose some GPS for FSX/P3D but have not entered the MSFS market. Instead there are new players: https://www.tdssim.com https://pms50.com/msfs/ Have I missed a new player?

So before I buy I see in T&C: 6.4 The software must not be used on home cockpits. Can anyone explain what that means in terms of controllers? I guess does anyone use this with addon stick/throttles, etc? Obviously not a full-on pit, just common hardware. scott s. .

When I try to change my key bindings for any device, I can only get to the point where I get the button into the scanner, and then I can’t click on anything, I can’t click on cancel, validate, or clear current input. It’s like the game froze but not really.

Getting back to flying, I am tempted by the 310. Would my old jalopy, a 4770+1080 combo, give a smooth ride ? Thanks

Hi, I've purchased the MSFS 2020 yesterday and now have it installed. But it's not detecting my joystick. I'm running Windows 10 Pro and I have the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2. It works just fine in FSX and P3D. Will the Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 work in MSFS 2020, and why is it not detecting my joystick? Ken.

This is really a strange bug. I find that after landing, the aircraft cannot be moved at anything greater than walking speed, even with takeoff thrust applied. I've checked the parking brake, thrust reversers, etc. and cannot come up with any reason for why it is doing this. Has anyone else observed this behavior?

Does anyone else have a problem in every aircraft, default or third party, with coming to a smooth stop when parking? Below 4 or 5 knots, any further pressure results in a sudden and violent stop. Here are my brake axis settings on my CH pedals:

Specifically for the Fenix a320 and pmdg 737. Anyone know of sound packs made? Both planes are just a little too quiet for me. I like when I start up the engines hearing everything rumble and loud it reminds me of my youth flying. I know that's not realistic and these planes are going for realistic so that's why they're not loud in the cockpit. If not maybe soon someone will make some like how fs9 and fsx had tons of sound addons you could download from avsim. Thanks!

Why do the clouds always stop working on the weekend? Anyone else seeing this today? Worked fine all week long and then bam, all of a sudden on Saturday...no clouds.

i know it is a matter of opinion, but for those using fsrealistic with the A320, what do you find the best settings/levels are for realism and immersion? i am playing around with it and wanted some guidance and starting points

Anyone else having problems where the scramjets never reach full power? No matter what pitch, the doors stay at 70 to 75% and the speed never exceeds mach 3.70.

Hi , Would like to know real world routines about the approach mode in the A320. What is the normal behaviour/routine for this ? I normal fill in the approach page just after descend is engage. What is considered normal after ? I do have alot of manage speed still going to 250 knots(while at 180knots) on approach simply because it never has triggered the approach mode (ND says ILSXX on top) even with both "LS" on. Offcause hitting the activate approach in the MCDU works but i was under the impression that the aircraft could activate this by itself. Thanks Michael Moe

Sitting here in cruise FL360 heading from EHAM to LFMN in a Easyjet Fenix A320, I just started to thing about what a crazy month it has been. I think May 2022 has been probably one of the busiest months for MSFS. April 30th It actually started with the last day of April, the Maddog got released. I didn't buy that one because there were forum posts at PMDG stating it was matter of days not weeks before it the 737 would be released. May 4th While looking for any insight on the PMDG 737 on the 4th Milviz released their Cessna 310R. That looks nice and really temping to buy it, but that imminent 737... I do most of my flying in the evening…

All, My EFB shows correct data my MCDU doesn't this in relation to the current AIRAC Cycle. Is there a work around??? Navdata up to date and Fenix is in the Nav Data centre as been connected. Any help advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Regards

I've purchased some airports recently from simmarket and flightsim.to and a couple of them have pink textures at various places. I know that this is caused by missing textures or texture conflicts. Obviously cleaning out the community folder and going one by one COULD find the problem but takes plenty of time when you have a whole lot of mods. Is there any way to load up an airport and use developer mode to figure out what the pink texture is? On a couple airports it's not a big deal but some others have huge swaths of pink ground. Any suggestions much appreciated. Never mind. Post can be deleted.
