Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Is it possible to create one's own Showcase/Fixed camera views that can be opened via the toolbox' camera option and if so, how to accomplish that? I am referring to the camera views that can be opened via the Ins key by default. Any hint will be highly appreciated. Thanks, Hans

These are still 2 major international airports but yet to still see any 3rd party developer to bring it into MSFS.

Recently, when I wanted to start my simulator again, the data is not synchronized. I keep getting stuck at this point. I haven't installed or added anything new. I've tried as many things as I can but I can't get any further... I'm happy about every answer. Thanks for your help! [/ur

Does anyone know the keyboard shortcut to set the trim in the PMDG 737? Also how can you tell the exact value that you're setting it to? It's hard to get the exact value when you have to go off by the trim tape that's on the wheel.

Hi, I have my G27 wheel set for nose wheel steering for the tiller. I see the tiller moving left and right, but the plane still does not turn. Anyone know why?

Hi all On any jet when I look out of a pax view window during cruise I see the window frame flickering constantly, but the view out of the window is fine. I've changed the shadow resolution, and disabled the heat effect from the engines. Was just wondering if this bothers anyone else and if there are any workarounds? TIA

Is there a way to close a runway for takeoff/landing or to change the runway selection logic? For example, at LIMC runways 17 are used only for a few days in a year but in the sim, more or less, always .. Is there a way to avoid some specific runway from the sim? Thanks Stefano

It's really getting crazy with all these updates, I feel, it really stops u from playing the sim., and enjoy just flying. What is the purpose of having a beta team before the release of an update, such as #9. I never saw any game or simulator with so many updates. I have been flying since the mid 90's and never had this issue. I can understand once in a while u need an update, but this is just getting out of control, every update itseems needs a patch, then why do u have a beta team ? I mainly fly in Europe and suddenly wondered how most pilots note fuel: in lbs or kg? I still find it odd how nm (distance) and ft (altitude) still are the standard over here and not km but I've gotten used to it. I am going to buy the Fenix (waiting for PayPal) and after watching some video's it occured to me I didn't even know what unit I use in Simbrief... (it should be set to the same in the Fenix). I checked and noticed I am using kg. I do suppose that's the standard over here? Been entering block fuel into the MCDU for quite some time without even knowing if it was kg or lbs... I am about a year away from purchasing a new computer which will be a significant upgrade from what I now run. In the mean . time I would like to purchase MSFS . I have a 500 Gb ssd internal drive now which I am using for x plane so I really don't have the space for MSFS. For now I have been looking at the feasibility of running the app on an external drive and I have read conflicting comments about the advisability of doing this. I was thinking about an ssd or an nvme ssd. I am not a techie but I do believe that the interface does affect how well the drive will perform. Hello. I just bought the MOD of the fenix A320 and immediately a problem that I cannot find an answer to. All the controls work, air brake flaps, parking brake except the throttle which just doesn't find a match even inside the simulator: the throttle levers do not move. Can anyone help me? thank you It's no a problem about calibration, the throttle doesn't move!! With a320 FBW works.

all of a sudden after loaded navigraph and selecting load current plan the dep and arr airport is on the plan and nothing in between? never seen this?

MSFS, 'study' level aircraft, online ATC - it all makes flight simulation so fulfilling. I wouldn't expect this from a sim enthusiast online! Example of poor comms.

I started this thread in pilot2atc forum but I think it is appropriate for main forum in case someone has come up with a better workaround as this problem started with SU6 and it worse in SU7: I create flt plan with simbrief. I then export to MSFS. I then load the saved plan and everything looks great. As soon as I try to select the departure gate from either dropdown or zoom, the entire flt plan changes. I had not had this problem with earlier sim updates. I believe is it combo of Simbrief and Asobo but not sure.
