Hi, As I understand, this is how a controller should be displayed in the Description Panel: In my case I have a generic image with a question mark: I have: - CH FighterStick - Microsoft Sidewinder FF2 - VKB-Sim T-Rudder Pedals Mk.IV All are working fine for assignments etc. in MSFS. I just have an issue with the Description Panel.

Hi, I'm using the TDS GTNXi in the fabulous Milviz Cessna 310. Since I want to create a very usable 'Air Manager' 2D cockpit and to use MSFS2020 just for the front view out of the virtual 3D cockpit I have a need to use the GTN in "Window mode" as shown below. But as soon as I load the aircraft the GTN window closes because it then runs in 'gauge mode' in the virtual 3D cockpit. Is there a way to keep the GTN window open or instead reconfigure the aircraft so I only have the window mode instead of the gauge mode? Many thanks

Hi, are there supposed to be AC sounds or even hear the APU when in the back of the passenger area? It's so quiet. So used to the FBW that has a very nice proper back passenger environment sound.

Hello all, I am just playing around with my MSFS2020 and my ipad with gps apps on it, and I just thought of using it to connect to MSFS2020 via GPSout by fsuipc. I know you can do that by using Garmin Pilot or Foreflight but it’ll be cool if you could use Apple Maps or Google Maps or any gps software downloaded from the app store and use them to connect to MSFS2020. I don’t know if bluetooth connection will work or not? Is there a way to do that or not? Thanks! Brian

Some of you who had the early versions of the 737 may remember an excellent tutorial written by Tom Risager. It is in the Avsim library if you search by his name. The file name is ngxtutorialv1.zip and it’s a pdf file. I have archived from years ago and just pulled it out. Not sure if every function there is functional, but it is well written and sure to be helpful to those new to the PMDG 737!

Is anybody having this engine effects issue on MSFS2020 with PMDG737 engines running? I don't see this happening with other jets. Thanks.

Hi everyone, I am looking for 'flight zones', that is sceneries covering large custom areas (improved mesh, several airfields or strips, custom autogen, points of interest, etc.). The perfect example is Tongass Fjords X. Others are Orbx Pago Pago and Tapini, FlyTampa Grenadines. But only available for FSX/P3D. For MSFS I am only aware of Okavango by SimWorks Studios, Aerosoft Antarctica Vol. 1, and the newly released NZA Simulations Mount Cook Region. If you are aware of others, please post, even if they are in the making. On a side note, being a new MSFS user, I wonder if the notion of 'custome autogen' does still exist for MSFS. Thanks.

I have ZINERTEK - ENHANCED AIRPORT GRAPHICS VERSION 2.0 installed an in the community folder. I has worked in the past but I dont think it is working after SU5/HF1/HF2. My test case is runways at KPDX, no tire skid marks?? Anyone else have this?

Hi, after pushback i enabled APU Bleed and set my Thrustmaster TCA to engine IGN on and turned on the left starter as i always do in other aircraft but this time it just kept injected fuel (280 /0) and cutoff off all the time instantly making it impossible to start the engines. What can be wrong ? The engine fuel starters is in the up position. Thanks Michael Moe

In previous generation sims I was using Flightbeam, FSDT, LatinVFR, Flytampa, ORBX Justsim etc... I see there are additional 3PDs like MXI Design, Amsim, M'M Simulations, Verticalsim, Feelthere developing many new airports for MSFS. Do you recommend getting these when on sale? Are they an improvement over the default ones? I've encountered several threads in which people are very pleased with the default airports. Flightbeam is having a 35% off and so are MXI Design and M'M Simulations on some airports

This doesn't seem to work in the way I am used to in P3D ie saved situation, panel state, FMC state etc. Is this the case or am I missing something? What I do get is the aircraft at the saved situation but just with the default panel state and and a drastic drop in FPS. Bruce

Is there a way to jump from cockpit view, to an outside or showcase view by just pressing a button or assigning a joystick button to it? Currently i go to the top menu and scroll to the different views with my mouse but I feel like I see people jumping from cockpit to non cockpit view a lot more seamless than me. Any tips? I looked into it a while ago but only seemed to be able to assign keypresses within the view that I am in

Ok having some trouble with this one, i got my Navigraph linked to my efb no issues there at all. efb keeps saying no flight plan, mcdu and fenix app says the correct id for sim brief, tried starting the app first and than sim first no joy. My guess is that iam setting the info wrong in sim brief itself. I Suspect that iam making the wrong aircraft selection since i simply choosing any 320 in the aircraft selection

I have these two airports and I notice a few issues and was wondering if there is any way to correct them. LGA: AI planes are parked way into the terminal buildings in some cases. Jetways don't seem to connect to plane ATL: lot's of strange elevation changes in the taxiways, particularly taxiway Victory into and out of concourse C causing the plane to bounce around and even stop Anyone else have this?

Now I'm enjoying the Fenix A320 after 10 years of GA, I've been searching for addons. I found this flight planning tool that looked interesting. Anybody have any experience with it? VaroRoutes

This video was just uploaded to YouTube by someone who, I believe, is a real-world 737 pilot. He makes a brief, easy suggestion for enhancing sim performance. My first thought was, "Oh sure," I've heard that a thousand times before. But I watched the video and made the tweak. The results were surprisingly positive. This tweak doesn't so much improve FPS as it does smooth out the jerkiness between frames. All I can say is that, on my seven year-old system, I can now fly with clouds set to Ultra and I can pan around the aircraft as smoothly as when the sky is set to Clear. I couldn't do that before. I am using a Thrustmaster Airbus joystick and I am continually fighting what I believe is called a "Dutch Roll", oscillating back and forth making it nearly impossible to line to a runway for landing. Seems to happen with every aircraft, some much worse than others, but it is always there. Have messed around with the sensitivity settings to the point at which I don't know what I am doing! Is there one particular sensitivity setting that should concern me more than others? A combination? I am aware that every setup is different, but I also know that this oscillation can be overcome. (I watch a lot of YouTube videos!) Thanks for your assistance.
