My apologies if this has already been addressed, but can you not control trim via the keyboard with MSFS bindings? The keys I have assigned to elevator trim have no affect (don't change the trim) Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave

I would like to share with you my idea, on how to fix communication between our community and Asobo (MS). It is clearly visible from today's Q @ A that this communication is missing or we are completely misunderstood (example of Sebastian and fps in the menu .. etc ..). What would you say if we would select representatives from our community - two, one people who would be well versed in the topic, what are we missing, what are the mistakes, what to do first, etc. etc. and if these people could go directly to Asobo studio and talk to them face to face, at an appointment, and present all our problems in a clear and specific way. MMSL - Cabo has no landing lights.

I'm getting very confused here. I have a second monitor plugged into my motherboard and had enabled multi monitor support in the BIOS. In other words I thought the second monitor was using the CPU's integrated graphics. What I had not spotted is that there are two options -PEG and IGD. What I think now is that is that because I had it set to PEG in fact the second monitor was just using the NVidia GPU? Setting the bios to IGD the Fenix CTD's on loading a flight if I have it set to use the cpu integrated graphics. I'm thinking this is because the integrated graphics are already being used by my second monitor? So my question is if I switch back to PEG does the Fenix use th…

Does anyone make or mod a pilot or co pilot avatar that wears a captions or other officer cap?

Hi, have a problem to set those, as simply those are not remembered and always have some default ones. The strange thing is that 2 of those are remembered ( EFB and MCDU ) but overhead and captain views are always some default ones and cannot change those. Custom views works well for other planes, only Fenix has some trouble with it, cause i do not think issue is on my side. Any hint or solution?

Hi guys, i need your take on this. I found that on my system using the GPU give the best performance BUT the MFD's are laggy. With that said, if i go from fullscreen to window, the MFD's are no longer laggy at all ! it all runs smooth ! As soon as i am back to fullscreen the laggy MFD's return. What are the professionals here think could cause this ?

Was taking a look at this airport and noted that it was a 5 GB install. Does that seem like a lot for a smallish regional airport or does it have some incredible features I am unaware of. Does that sound a bit OTT to you or are there other airports taking up over 5 GB of your disk space?

I normally see AI aircraft parked as the PDMG DC6, Junker 52, etc, which is an anachronism. How can I avoid those aircraft showing as AI traffic ?. I found at its config file the following entry: " is AirTraffic=0 ", so acording to that, it seems it shouldnt show.-

For this example I'm using rudder trim, same idea works for elevator trim. I'm using a Warthog throttle, but same exact idea works for using the keyboard. I know of no way to do this except using Axis and Ohs (AAO), so I'm using that. Here's the idea, lets take the JustFlight Arrow, it has a rudder trim knob down low in the center. If you press the trim button or key it will turn very fast. Way too fast. Hi there: I am asking the community for advice. I want to purchase either the Milviz 310R or the Flightsimware C-414. My experience flying twin engine aircraft in the simulator is minimal, so if some of you who own one or the other of these planes could give me some advice on which would be best both from a learning perspective and an "enjoyment" factor I would sure appreciate it! Anyone know what's going on with a Syncing data screen when FS is first launched? I'm getting this now and it's just sitting here with no progress. Can't launch the sim at this point.

Hello guys, Just a suggestion for the team of Fenix (if anyone from there reads this). As turning off the passenger cabin with the flick of a switch from the EFB is quite easy already, it would be great to have an option to automatically turn off-on the passenger cabin while the flight deck door is locked. The reason for this is that walking around the passenger cabin during preflight and at times during flight is very immersive, yet lowers your FPS by a tiny bit. So I've been using this for a while now with no issues however noticed on my flight yesterday (and today) that the traffic spawns into the airfield but then doesn't move (at all). Plus no traffic spawned in the air, usually depending on traffic slider in the AIG TC I have a bit of traffic buzzing around the sky. But nothing, zip. Its weird because the models are injected into the airport but don't move thereafter. I've been on the AIG forums and a few similar posts but nothing conclusive. So what's changed on my end? Hi, Question for the traffic gurus, as I've largely ignored this until now... what would be my best option for Vatsim airline traffic model matching (with correct liveries)? I don't want or care about AI traffic, real-world or otherwise. I'd just like, when instructed on Vatsim to follow the Delta airbus, see a Delta airbus. What would you say is the easiest (and preferably, performance-friendly) option here? Thanks!

Not sure if it's been posted but LVFR have updated their static aircraft addon to cover almost 300 airports worldwide. Many will prefer the moving dynamic traffic that AIG and Simple Traffic offer, but for me this hits the mark. I like to see airports populated with correct carriers, but right now I'm not crazy about the go-arounds, spinning aircraft and weird ATC chatter that MSFS offers. I'm okay with quiet skies. Now that the package is updated, most major airports in the world are populated and in the tests I did, FPS were not affected when compared to the empty airport.
