Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I think I have lost the sound of the AI pilot or the pilot all together. I have checked but cannot get it to come back on. Any ideas?

Yesterday I did a flight and didn't have this happen. Since then, I haven't done anything different. My trackIR is off, and when I load up the Fenix (did this multiple times with different liveries at various airports and the same thing happened... I even did 2 restarts of the sim and app), I go into the cockpit and the camera pans in a circle and I can't stop it. You might have seen my other thread about custom views and I can say that I have the original default views in there and haven't changed anything since my flight yesterday that was successful. Any thoughts on what could be causing this? I am on the latest version. Thanks!

Good day/ evening everyone, very sorry to start yet another topic on the Fenix bird.. I can't seem to find a transition to select in the mcdu. Only did two flights so far, EDDL - EDDM and turn around. I can select STARS for both airports, but no transitions. What im I doing wrong? Navigraph nav data is up to date.. Thank you 🙂

One of the threads that have been lost due to all the Fenix A320 talk, is WU9 Italy & Malta. I re-installed the update and did a couple of flights. The second time around the trees appeared a little smaller, but there were still trees in many places where they should not be in Rome. I had less micro pauses but was turned off by the awful looking PG trees. Milan is also a little stuttery and ugly PG trees all over the city. I'd like your read about your experience with WU9 and where have you been flying so that I can check them out. This is a beautiful region that deserves a little love.

Hi, i think i found a bug where the N1 doesn't want to follow the position of the thrust lever (blue circle), so when in cruise, it makes the aircraft entered the red pole (overspeed) (even when autothrust on, managed speed). It happens on every flights. I use the steam version. Until now I cant fly properly, because i cant leave the cockpit, otherwise my aircraft will go overspeed.

Has anyone had success adding and downloading custom views for the Fenix? Every time i install them per the instructions, the plane loads blank and nothing is functioning. I mentioned this before, this time short and quick (the problem happened tonight and 2 other times the last month, this cure worked all 3 times). (If you don't have a steam installation then the \steam folder will have another name, but it will be a subfolder of the official folder in the path below). MSFS won't boot (CTD) solutiion: remove (Path)\official\steam\fs-nav-base folder (just the tiny fs-nav-base folder) nothing else MSFS now boots up fine EDIT: it will very quickly redownload new fs-nav-base files (they are small files) at 'checking for updates' and then MSFS boots up properly.

How on earth do you get rid of failures? I spawned in at the gate and stuff just keeps failing and I can't figure out how to shut them off. Random failures are NONE so I don't know why this is happening. I've lost a fuel pump, CVR, and a few other things so far.

Fenix update has just been released! Get it from your dashboard on fenixsim.com or from within the Fenix app. Lots of improvement, barely 48 hours after release!

I bought msfs2020 when it came out and had for about a year. I put the captain sim 777 and a320 neo liveries into the community folder and it all worked fine. Then I decided to uninstall it for other games. Then I got game pass and reinstalled Microsoft flight sim. Now I am no longer able to download msfs2020 without it being from game pass. I just want to download it from Microsoft store without game pass. Or if anyone knows how to put mods with game pass that would also help.

Can someone clarify if higher or lower MS is better when it comes to the MainThread. I could not find a clear answer. I'm guessing lower is better? Would the MainThread being solid yellow or green be better. Just trying to get a better understanding.

I normally see AI aircraft parked as the PDMG DC6, Junker 52, etc, which is an anachronism. How can I avoid those aircraft showing as AI traffic. I found at its config file the following entry: is AirTraffic=0, so acording to that, it seems it shouldnt show.-

Hi guys, Just started to use the add on linker free utility which I find very useful. Reminds me a bit of Simstarter I have for Prepar3d... I have one question and an issue. Question, Can I move my Orbx add ons so add on linker can recognise them so I can then use a preset so I only load the stuff I need where I am flying, EG a preset for the UK only loads add ons, including Orbx for the UK. Issue...I added some programs to start with add on linker when the sim starts, EG Track IR/GoFlight/SPAD.next...In the options screen it also recognises I use FSUIPC to start the sim. Hi, curious to know if anyone with a racing wheel ever tried to use it for a tiller control on an airliner.

I wonder if anyone can answer this question about the PMDG 737 for MSFS; In the FSX/P3D versions, there was an options page in the PMDG options section of the FMC for assigning custom key commands, for things like the the MCP modes. Is that still a function of the MSFS version? Having to use the mouse to engage the AP, turn the heading bug and change MCP modes would be a showstopper for me (although, if it's not available now, I'm sure it will come), hence the question. TIA.

Was flying the Fenix just fine yesterday. As of today, the EFB is completely unusable. It stays of the loading page forever and never gives me the login numerical display. I've tried multiple resets and restarts of the Fenix app, and relaunches of MSFS with no luck. Here's a screen pic - this is 10 minutes after loading, the charging cable is still in, aircraft has power and yet this screen remains. I've tried clicking the power button and other areas of the tablet but just stay like this forever. #NoEFB Was wondering if this was a server/authentication issue at the Fenix end?

Hi fellows, I installed AIG roughly 3 weeks ago for msfs. In cruise I even saw the contrails of the AI aircraft! All of a sudden after WU9 it seems AI traffic have lost their contrails? Can anyone confirm. Looking for fix as well.

Hi I have the throttles moving it can't get the flaps moving on the plane. I have it mapped but it's not working. Any idea? Flaps work on all other planes even the PMDG 737

I have downloaded a series of camera views and will install them in camera.cfg in the fnx-aircraft-320\SimObjects\Airplanes\FNX320 folder Dumb Question: How do I access these camera views ? Can they be assigned to the keyboard NumPad for example ?

I am using simpilot to send the flight plan to simbrief and then download from EFB in Fenix. On the passenger / cargo page of the EFB do I have to use the slider to add the PLANNED number of PAX and Cargo? Because it shows 0 and load plan is grayed out?
