When i first started playing with MSFS a lot of things didn’t work, so I did little more than start at a runway and fly direct via the AP to another airport. Then i started using SimBrief to provide a more realistic flight plan. Eventually i started flying from a “cold and dark” state, just to up the immersion. I request external power, as i think that might be what actual pilots need to do sometimes. I then turned off the taxi ribbon to learn how to navigate the ground at an airport. That led me to purchasing the taxiway upgrade so i could actually read and follow the signs. Lately i have been handling the comms with ATC, to understand more about how that works. It …

The title says it all. Thank you. If anyone know if PROATC runs in Full windows mode, please let me know. I placed this question on their forum, but no one seems to reply. I don't know why, but I prefer to run msfs in full windows mode, and some apps will only run in windows mode. thanks.

i am having problems with A310 customs cams, in all planes cams work ok but in the A310 i can't get the inside window passengers view. Anyone with this problem?

Hi All, Hoping someone can help. I downloaded and installed EU Great Britain North by Orbx and i'm impressed with the coverage and overall quality. However, i've found that some of the 3rd party mod landmarks look better than some of the models used in EU GBN. My question is - Is there any way that you can create exclusions and remove certain landmarks in the Orbx version? I tried to re-order my scenery library with the 3rd party mods above Orbx, but it just results in duplicate buildings - and then re-orders itself despite being saved. Which is frustrating. With all A32NX versions you can now choose to utilize “simbridge.local:{PORT}” instead of hunting for your local IP address. Every time I load a flight I immediately get the "Connection Lost, blah, blah, blah" message. I usually wait and in a short period it says that it's restored. Today I checked and sure enough my internet was down. I reconnected it got the connection restored message. I made my flight which was about an hour. As soon as I shut the plane down I got the Connection Lost message again. I restored it same as I did before. This never happened before the last update. The time before this happened, I went to restore it and it said no Wi-Fi listed. I had to go to the Control Panel and find it and connect it. Also sometimes this happens during my flight. Does anyo…

Microsoft apparently reported 10,000,000 users. Using conservative guesstimates and not including other income what kind of real plane would $250,000,000 buy? Edit: I just checked. The Cessna Longitude is about U$30M. The TBM 960 is about U$5M. With $250M Microsoft can buy the real plane and use the exact specs and measurements to base a near perfect MSFS version of the real plane.

Hello When i was on FSX, i configured under FSUIPC my saitek throttle cut-off for B737 with the following command: TOOGLE_FUEL_VALVE_ENG(1 or 2). Now, i am on MSFS and it doesn't work !! Any hint , please ? Regards Styves

Is it just me or has some dark force removed some bridges in S.E. Qld ? The iconic Storey Bridge in Brisbane city has gone along with the Houghton Hiway, previously known as the Hornibrook.I haven't checked for others as I was in shock ;landed my aircraft and I am off to see my local member of Parliament. Hey folks. I have CH Pro rudder pedals. They have never given me trouble in the past. Suddenly, I hit the throttle on a Cessna 172 and start to use the pedals to steer the plane. The pedals start to work but after a few seconds the plane just veers off the runway to the left and I don't seem to have control with the pedals anymore. However, after may be 3-5 seconds, suddenly they are working again. Of course, by that time I am off in the grass against a fence :-). I have unhooked the cable and hooked it to a different USB port but that hasn't helped. It is not a fluke; it has done it now 5 times in a row. Here's one that feels like a familiar problem, but I can't figure it out. When I run the 414, in any variant, TDS GTNXi or not, the EFB will open, and when I touch the power button, the menu opens up but as soon as I scroll the mouse to any item, the screen goes white, and nothing will get it back. I thought it may be a conflict with something, but I don't think so. I just updated to the latest Flysimware version of the 414. I also tried running MSFS both with and without the current beta version. I guess if it is just an SU11 thing I will have to be patient until Flysimware fixes it, but I would have thought todays update would handle that. Any thoughts?

We’re a couple weeks from Halloween, but MSFS is providing me an early scare. I booted my system, and Windows 10 launched normally. I then attempted to start MSFS, which did not go normally. After the initial splash screen, I got a dialogue box telling me that a MS app dealing with “in store package dependency” needed to run. I allowed this, but that led to an error message informing me that I did not have access to MSFS in my MS store account, with the error identified as “0x803F8001” should I need it. I then opened my MS store account, went to my library, and found to my horror that there were no traces of MSFS 2020 in my store account, though I had purchased the De…

Installed KHFD from marketplace. There's a C47 static plane there with people all around. Plane and people are completely WHITE. Uninstalled and reinstalled airport 2 times and still the same result. Any Idea what causes this?

I have been flying Simstudio's RV-14 using it autopilot and I'm having a hard time to intercept and hold ALT using IAS (climb) or VS (descent). Even I just let AP hold the current ALT, it keeps oscillating up and down, sometime by couple 1000 ft. I tried similar autopilot on Asobo's plane, such as X-cub, and it has no such problem at all. IAS and VS modes work just as expected and ALT holds perfectly. So could it be something is broken in SWS' RV-14 autopilot? I bought the RV-14 from MSFS Marketplace, maybe I'm missing some key updates? Overall, I love RV-14. Just perfect for GA cross country.

So I installed GSX Pro on monday of this week and I've been flying between the two European airports in the Fenix A320 EDDM / LIMC you can use it with to try it out and I think I like it and I'm thinking about buying it, might wait untill friday though, its not crashed on me once and once you load a simbrief flightplan in it seems to work flawlessley.....any thoughts guys....do you all like it if you have it??

I have not been flying a lot recently and and when I flew today I noticed a discrepancy in the altitude values displayed in the sim. I started at close to sea level from EGHC and the altimeter show the correct field altitude when I pressed the B key. I set the autopilot to 6000 ft and when I reached 6000 ft I noticed that my actual altitude was 5742 ft. I pressed B and checked the barometer setting and all was in order. LNM reported the same values. I repeated the test with the default Bonanza, the C310 and the Kodiak and got the same results. I pressed the B key several times and checked the barometer values to make sure it was all correct. …

This simulator just gets better each day. I started simming around in the late 90"s. Thus, how many hours of flying would u do each day ? For me, I usually start around 9:00pm and I might stop around 2am . Most of the time I am flying the PMDG 737, or Fly the Maddog, and of course the Cessna 414 AW.. I might start with a short flight ex, NY to Boston, and ILS approach, and the 2nd flight KORD to KSYR,these are just examples/ Thus, I fly each day about 5 hours.

I thought my last driver update solved this but I'm getting these show stopper GPU error alerts in DX12. Anyone eliminated these in DX12 mode by a new NV driver or other solution? DX12 is a little better overall so prefer that but not fun to go thru 40 minutes of set up and take off then die.
