Flew into this city and was amazed at the detail in this city at night which I don't see in US cities. How did this happen, how many other 'cities' have this much night lighting detail with litup windows in the buildings etc?

I haven't been using the FBW A320 Neo, but after watching this video I will have to give it a go again 🙂 There are details absolutely unique to MFS, stuff that makes even a guy like me who says graphics aren't my main concern actually appreciate that difference from other platforms. I love the light effects on clouds, in night / or even day IMC ... and everything else in this video, starting with the FBW A320 NEO 🙂 REAL A320 Captain | FBW A320 NEO | Seattle-Bozeman | MSFS - YouTube

Sometimes it has been suggested that MFS, although still using the old ground physics with a few modifications, does not cope with contaminated runways, like wet or icy runways. In my last 3 flights in the default A310 I was able to experience on landing with WET runway and windy conditions, as well as during taxi in an ice-covered taxiway, the effects of that contaimination, with the aircraft having difficulty in comming to a stop in the first case and skidding on the second. OFC I still look fwd for the promised implementation of a new / fully featured ground physics model coming along with a fufure "SU", but meanwhile it is there and it can be felt and requir…

Here is Crachier airfield created by Emmanuel Richer. The Crachier grass runway (LF3869) has private access. It measures 320m by 35m, QFU 15-33. With the authorization of the owner and the adapted machine, the approach in 33 is technically interesting! Flying below 2500 ft when approaching Crachier, the Lyon St Exupéry CTR is close and local air traffic control has difficulty admitting VFR flights in its class D airspaces. Do not fly over the village of Crachier. West side lap. To land in 33 do not fly over the house in the axis of the runway and land after the threshold of the runway. Obviously, do not abuse laps in order to respect a noise-sensitive …

  7. Hey guys, i was wondering since i'm installing stuff on FS2020 and i'm wondering if running https://fr.flightsim.to/file/5972/modellibchanger is still required as of today? i bought some sceneries with BF, and some scenes still have the standard Modellib.bgl with the default path "scenery/global/scenery" Can this still cause issues nowadays like it was discovered back then :https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/scenery-creators-please-move-or-rename-your-modellib-bgl/307563 Or that's fixed by asobo and no need to do it again? thank you

Hi everyone, trying to remove the SDK from my system which is Windows 11. SDK was installed under windows 10. I keep getting this error. : 'MSFSTemplates' is not a valid filename. I also get the same error if I try to install a newer ver of the SDK. So I am stuck... unable to install new version. unable to remove the one currently installed. Not a showstopper as I only use it to monitor performance after MSFS updates. I keep seeing that a new ver is available when I use it, so I decided to update. I like to have things work as they should. Thanks for any advice.

I finally found a fix. I had the precise 60 second pause (using a stopwatch) and it lasted maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of a second. Someone here told me to look in Task Manager for a Steam app that was being run every 60 seconds. Sure enough I found it. It’s called GameOverlayUI.exe [32]. It has a Steam icon. I used Process Lasso to disallow it and sure enough no more pauses. What a huge difference and relief this is.

Wherever there are static ships in sceneries I see this "wire frame" like structure around the ships, it is most notable when you are at a distance from the ships. What is the cause of this issue and how is it fixed? Scenery is MKStudios Fuerteventura.

I'm learning to fly helicopters, specifically the Bell and whilst I can now take off, hover, ascend and fly using the cyclic and collective to control pitch, speed and altitude, I seem to be having difficulty with landing, i.e. I need a large landing area and don't have the accuracy to descend over a helipad, hover then land. Is there a normal procedure or can anyone provide any tips as to the best way to tackle the approach, hover and landing phase. Thanks

  14. I spend most of my airliner time in the [excellent] FBW A320, but decided to try the default Asobo A320neo to see how it compares. Not matter what I did (even with a totally clean Community folder and no addons active) I just couldn't get the A/P to engage HDG mode - or even follow the flight plan. Altitude and vertical speed seemed to work, but any form of lateral control was a no-no. I don't think I'll waste any more time on it, but juist wondered if anyone else has encountered this problem <?>.

Hi anyone get no external lights on the A320? I have power in the aircraft and engines are on avionics are on cabin lights are on but none of my external lights seem to work.

When flying VFR, I typically go to the ATC controls, and when I close to my destination, I click "nearest airports". When mine shows up, I see the option to tune atis or tower, but not approach (like we'd do in real life). Is this just the way MSFS is?

Hi there, I'm just wondering when LEMI Murcia is going to get added as an official used airport as it has been opened now for nearly 4 years? Am trying to add it to my airports but it is till this day an unknown airport. Is it too much trouble to get this added in available airports? Leo de Haan Scotland

  21. Please do not take it too serious 😉 But I'm really interested where the focus from a customers point of view probably is. A remote CDU is for me, personally, very important. I can't care less if the Bus is driven by a IAE or PW or whatever, at least it should be behave like the real one. As far as I can interpret some comments from Aamir, the Fenix dev, there are no technical reasons to not have a remote EFB (as we all thought, because of Prosim etc.). It is simply the customers choices which want IAE more. That shouldn't meant to force the Fenix devs anywhere. I just want a personal picture how important remote CDUs are for other people. Many thanks f…

Hi all. After a long time flying only GA planes, today I decided to practice a flight in the FBW A320 from Frankfurt to Vilnius. STAR was IRKAL2A, reached BILDI at 5000ft, direct to VOR VNO, meanwhile i cheched on ATIS frequency and navigraph the QNH and set it after transition altitude. Once reached VNO, right turn to 194°, started descending to 2700ft, ready to turn right again and intercept ILS. QNH was correct, everything programmed right (i suppose, probably i did something wrong of course), but then i hear "too low terrain, too low terrain", and I crash on the ground. Altimeter was indicating 2700ft, QNH was correct, but i dig a hole. What d…
