For those who do not follow the bird updates. Cessna 414AW Chancellor Version 3.4.0 is available to download. V 3.4.0 (FSW and SIMMARKET ONLY) 11/17/22 UPDATES: 1. Flight dynamics was updated to increase performace for turbulent weather so the autopilot can maintain altitude. The display for the GFC600 altitude also is updated to show the captured altitude even if the aircraft deviates. 2. The tablet checklist pages have been updated to fix typos. 3. The HSI GSI needle was not visible at night. Fixed. 4. The autopilot's nav button for the GNS530 panel will now work with the new working title GNS530 beta package.

Has anyone tried this plane? And does anyone know if there is a manual with it. I bought it and it is sort of fun but seems to lack a manual. If anyone is interested, I will do a quick review here after figuring out how to bind controls etc.

Hi guys, I am sooo happy to be back into MSFS after a twelve months absence. I'm enjoying the PMDG 737 more than ever! However, at the moment I'm rather frustrated and bemused. I have the Stream Deck XL which works really nicely with 99% of profiles I use, and at the moment I'm adding some of my own assignments such as different sound files and so forth. But for some reason, which is a total mystery, I can't assign the Ctrl+T assignment to a button for ATC. I have tried for hours, different ways of doing this. It's odd, but some weeks ago it seemed to work, but now, nada. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Don't know if its a msfs issue or a Kodiak, tying to set the L and R Aileron Trims and L and R Rudder Trims to either the keyboard or my throttles keys. Issue is that i cant see the switches moving on either using the key board or throttles key bindings that i had set. The only way to get them to work is using the mouse in sim

So, using the wheels version of the SWS Kodiak. Controls are all calibrated, etc.. Have the latest version of the Kodiak. For some reason for every one good landing, I bounce down the runway with the next 5. I cannot get any consistency with landing this aircraft without bouncing back up into the air a couple times. Doesn't seem to matter how the pitch trim is set, it still bounces. It seems something if off with this plane. It is getting beyond frustrating and am considering going to another turboprop to continue my RTW flying trip. I can land the Daher 930 without any bouncing. Does anyone have any tips or is it an issue that SWS is working on?

I fly multiplayer with my cousin. When I start MSFS, I click on his aircraft which is all ready in flight. When I set this as my departure and start flight. It's crashing to the desk top. Not sure why all of a sudden this is happening. Never had trouble before. "Walt"

I am able to but from a brief look an app has to be designed to utilize higher Output Color Depth, which can improve gradient coloration perhaps among other things. Is MSFS able to exploit this does anyone know? GPU penalty for same or no?

Hello all! I am thinking of upgrading my monitor to a SAMSUNG 32" Odyssey Neo G7 4K UHD 165Hz 1ms G-Sync 1000R Curved Gaming Monitor but my question is...Could my rig (Specs in my signature) handle 4k? I am currently limited by main thread at 1440p and I get about 45-40 FPS with the Fenix at MOST add-on airports. Since I am limited by my CPU, would I be able to get similar FPS at 4k if I make my 3080 work a bit more? Thoughts?

I have a little problem: in the virtual cockpit of the Caravan when moving the trim wheel (with my Bravo) the inside of the wheel, 4 white dots, move the correct direction, but the outside moves in the opposite direction. Can this be fixed? Regards René Feijen The Netherlands.

Now that the RTX 4080 cards are available, I'll go serious with my new build. I'm determined the GPU will be a RTX 4080. As a sidenote, I usually buy my machines for a 5-years term and don't upgrade in-between (which worked so far as I keep an eye on balanced parts). I have been with EVGA for several generations which were clear winners but are no longer an option after their divorce from Nvidia, unfortunately. Hi fellas, In recent years when I was behind my sim I have exclusively flown VFR to uncontrolled airfields. In the old days I used to do IFR as well, but that goes all the way back to FS2000 and FS2002, so that's a pretty long time ago and you could call my skills rusty. With the recent news that WT are upgrading the CJ4 I'm tempted to pick up IFR flying again. I do have a question though; as far as I can tell you have to create or import an IFR flightplan in MSFS before you hit the 'fly' button. Am I the only one that keeps getting freeze's on startup? I go to task manager and it will restart ssometimes?

So I was watching Blackbox711 stream MSFS yesterday with his new 4090 (FYI, Blackbox is a real life A320 type rated pilot): https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1657208635?t=02h16m52s Blackbox was flying over London, which is a heavy FPS city, with the Fenix A320, which is a heavy FPS plane. What I saw was amazing. He was using the 4090, playing in 1440p, and I believe most of his settings were Ultra, and he was getting 90 FPS! Since the Italy WU, PG cities are overgrown with trees; it takes away a lot of the immersion. Several iterations later, the problem seems to persist. Since the issue was not there before, I wonder what is the problem and why won't they fix it. Does anyone know if there is a fix for it?

Clean, crisp textures. Beautiful lighting. You can open the cockpit door. This is a cabin you are going to actually want to spend time in during those long haul flights. Microsoft should cut a deal with Netflix, so you can watch your favorite shows on the IFE. Once everything loads and is "settled", which, admittedly, takes a while on my ancient rig, I get almost exactly the same frame rates compared to the PMDG.

When using REX weatherforce instead of MSFS live weather, does it control the snow coverage too or just the weather? I am noticing snow is not showing up in areas where it should be.

So... looks like there are a few SPJC offerings. My experience is with PKSIM (from P3D) which are quite nice. Low end PC - looks actually pretty good and the price is lower (especially now 38% off) Dominicdesign - doesnt look that good in the pictures. Any thoughts?

I've tried using my keyboard, but it's just not that great. I think I've read an Xbox controller will work? Should I just buy one and hook it up to my PC?
