Since release of MSFS I have had very good performance, with occasional stuttering due to earlier sim updates. For many months now I have had smooth performance locked at 30/vsync. 3 days after SU11 FPS/fluidity just destroyed. Developer mode FPS is in the red and I am getting a slide show. It indicates main thread limited. During the game launching screens I get 30fps, but as the process continues it drops into the teens by the time the main menu arrives. As a flight loads it drops into single digits. My system is completely dedicated to MSFS. It contains nothing else except what came with Windows 10. Since the last update 40th anniversary fly the maddog I have had major problems downloading the product for a flight I have had it since release, anybody else having problems ?

Just tried to load MSFA 2020 after installing a couple of UK2000 scenery. Last week I had trouble with a Windows 10 update. I almost had to do a PC Reset to get my desktop running again. Managed to get it running with a restore point recovery. I tested MSFS 2020 and it loaded without any problem. But I just tried to run it and got the message "Something went wrong launching your game" and gave the error code (0x80070002). How do I get MSFS 2020 running again?

When first taking off, ATC usually contacts me, using my tail number.. But the latest PC12 V1.1 has ATC referring to me as "Carenaydo...." I assume this ATC callsign info is kept in the aircraft.cfg file which is encrypted.. but is this the only aircraft where this happens, or am I just noticing it for the first time?

Prior to SU11 load times on the "Checking For Updates" screen were about 2 minutes but now it takes > 15 minutes. Is that OK? Seems this was fixed with SU9. Edit: I pulled my internet to get to the main menu. Then reconnected. sp

Anyone use 7.1.2 Atmos surround sound? Or is it overkill for MSFS? I can't imagine the ceiling speakers will give much unless a plane flies over you or there's thunderstorms above you?

So a bit of a weird problem. I was getting super blurry ground textures, so I thought i'd turn bing data off then on again. Problem is, as soon as I turned it off, I lost all ground textures. It's as if i'm in the middle of the ocean - it's all blue. Nothing seems to change it now. Has anyone seen this happen before?

I am trying to get the aircraft to follow the flight plan but have had no success. Research revealed a suggestion to increase Dead Zone in the controls. I am using latest Development version of the aircraft with naturally latest version of MSFS. and Saitek X56 . Would appreciate assistance/advice what would be suitable Dead Zone settings to see if that fixes the problem. TIA noels7

I am a little confused on how to select weather for a flight. When I click on Flight Conditions, the left side of the page has Weather & Time at the bottom but then the right side of the page in the upper right there is a button Live and then further down again clickable areas for Live Weather, Clear Skies, etc. In addition to the above, when in the cockpit there appears to be a way for selecting weather. Please let me know what is the simplest way to select Live Weather and secondarily other weather options. Thanks.

As per the Twitch Q&A, Working Title, the team that made the default G1000 (NXi) in MSFS the most advanced G1000 for a desktop flight simulator, is going to work on the G3000, G5000, GNS430W and GNS530W next: If they do the same job as the default G1000 (NXi) in MSFS now, that will be awesome! The avionics for GA planes in MSFS is getting more and more advanced!

Hi, I havent had this in a couple of SU updates but my Throttle 2 and sometimes spoilers axis is going to /idle and max after a visit to the menu. Any one else seeing this ? Thanks Michael Moe

Definitely not disappointed. Flight dynamics are really nice from liftoff, cruise and landing! Textures are very good. Interior modelling is a plus right down to Howard's "lucky" felt hat. Sound package is very cool!
