Been a fan of IL2 Great Battles (aka IL2 Battle of Stalingrad) and Rise of Flight since both launched. Both of those sims attention to flight modelling is superb, thus I imagine that this is a solid win for MSFS (but unfortunately a loss for IL2). Hope that this move works out well for all concerned. Perhaps a new MS Combat Flight Sim is in the works... 😉

I have just bought a Saitek Multi Panel. I already have the Radio Panel which works well with Saitek Panels enabled in Axes and Ohs, however, the Multi panel does not. Changing Altitude on the Multi Panel the numbers are doubled on the Aircraft PFD. I have experimented with Saitek Config on Axes and Ohs, changing from Double Click to Single Click, but, no different. I have installed a Saitek driver for Windows 11, but, the Alt still doubles. Anyone any ideas why one Panel will work well with ATR, But, the Multi Panel does not?

Great news, Aerosoft announced on the FSExpo that they are already working with Jo Erlund on EDDF and expect a release towards the end of the year. I think nothing better could happen to EDDF than Jo Erlund, so I‘m really looking forward to it, since it‘s my home airport.

Today I was going to fly the 787 from YSSY to VIDP and sudenly I had this problem on the ground. I clicked several times on the Ext. Power "Available" button but nothing happened. I connected the GPU and nothing changed. I searched for information of how to solve this problem but I didn't found any. Maybe is a Heavy Division related problem? If anyone had this same problem, please let me know how did you solved it. Regards! (This image is an example of what I refer, it isn't mine. When I click those AVAIL buttons nothing changes).

I am having trouble, not been able to start the sim for several days as getting a "false" instruction: "Please insert game disc...." but the disc is and has been continuously inserted. Perhaps my CD drive faulty? But TBH now wish I had purchased the download version. Does anyone know if it would be possible to convert from a CD version to a download version so am no longer dependent upon the reading the CD?

Hello Gang! I have done several test flights on the 787 since AAU2's release and even though it is an exponentially better aircraft than before, I have noticed that it doesn't like to maintain heading; you have to fiddle with it quite a bit to get it to follow the dialed in heading. I have also noticed that it tends to miss the ILS localizer capture, forcing me to make a series of turns to re-align and it tends to catch the signal on the second try. Any ideas if there is a legit issue here or if it might be user error? Thanks

I just built a rig (7800x3d, 4090, 64GB RAM) and currently in the tweaking process at the OS level prior to in-game optimizations. Per title, I'm looking for anyone that's tried the Win 10 debloater: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhY3Y39xeEg Ideally looking to create a most basic install to eliminate any hiccups from telemetry TSRs, etc... and increase system reliability. BUT... I don't want to shoot myself in the foot and delete something Win 10 requires to interface to FS2020. Does anyone here have any experience with this and knowing what should be "left behind" to ensure nothing gets "broken". Of course, a restore point will be created.

Does anyone know how to get the flight director to work in manual mode, with the a/p off? I read the manual but it's not working as instructed. It sys the f/d is supposed to stay on after clicking the a/p disconnect button once, and then you should be able to set all the modes and fly it manual with the f/d...but instead the entire system including the f/d shuts off.

I have watched some videos on the ATR FMS. Just wondering if there is there a good FMS trainer application similar to what Garmin did for the GTN 750? I did some searching. There was one company that had a reasonably priced training app, but it was primarily for the A380 or jet A/C. Thanks!

Hi all- I'm flying the Carenado PC12 and can't get the cockpit brightness up. Dome, flood, instruments don't seem to make a difference. It is dark in there. I managed this in P3D with Chaseplane and a combination of HDR and autoexposure depending on conditions. Is there a setting in the sim that can correct/mitigate this? Thanks, Mark

Hi, today I launched MSFS after not using it for a week or so to install the mandatory update, and I got a screen that told me MSFS wouldn't run well with my NVIDIA driver 535.79. After the install I shut it down and installed the latest for my card which is a GeForce RTX 3070, driver 536.23, Then I made a quick flight from Atlanta, KATL to Falcon field, KFFC, with live weather and the whole way I had a heck of a lot of micro stutters. I was wondering if there's a problem with the driver. I'm not too proficient in drivers and all that so I thought I'd ask. Thanks. Jack

How do I get MSFS to work the radio's for me? I used to have it working but did a complete re-install and now it's not. Can't find it in settings. Thanks guys
