Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

im getting this every other flight again anybody know a fix im using GSX with profiles for addon airports I cant ( don't understand ) how to get on their " discord" what ever that is 😏

Sorry if this has been discussed already, but with the search function down I cant check.... I flew into KDFW probably for the first time in awhile and the textures were all blurry and I actually crashed b/c the elevations were off. I tried restarting the sim but same result. I have no KDFW add-ons. Haven't seen this anywhere else. is this a known issue?

I completed a few of the ATC Senerios last night using the FSIpanel utility. Very impressed with the application. I have been using it to setup apporaches and loved it but the senerios are very good esspecially with the ATC voices and emergencies. Yes they are static but none the less immersive. I wonder if they could use a voice pack to create more instead of having a human record them. I like the human voice but I would think you could use https://speechelo.com/ to create more. Not sure if it exists, but I have not been able to find any suggestions for this...I have the latest version of the Carenado M20 (Mooney). I really like it, but if I have any light crosswind, I find it very hard to keep on the taxi line. I believe the wind keeps pushing on the tail rudder and pushing the nose. I've searched for tire friction mods, etc. in an effort to add contact points for a community folder which contains flight_model.cfg file. I know one does not exist in the official MSFS folder, so I know I need to create a new one for the community folder. I just bought the Boeing Stratoliner and when I co to Content Manager it is there to download and install. But when I start the download the progress bar at the bottom starts across and gets to about 550mg and then drops back to about 90 mb and starts over. I have been watching ot do this for about 30 minutes now. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

Wx is showing on the ND in the "updated" B78X. Whut th...?! I was doing a KSFO-KIAD hop. Stepped away from the flight deck for a while to attend to matters pertaining to the house (and to keep in the wife's good graces) and when I got back I was passing north of Denver. To my amazement weather was depicted on the ND in the correct location and was visually confirmed by looking out the window, the drone view and checking real Wx. Have I been doing a Rip Van Winkle all these months??

I stopped flight simming because of lack of historical weather in MSFS. This feature was the one that provided me the most joy previously in P3D with ActiveSky Being able to fly any route at any time, being able to accelerate the simulator and the weather would follow up. Now I'm restricted to fly only with the real time, and without sim acceleration. Otherwise weather won't match time of the day. If I accelerate a long flight I may end up with daytime weather during night and vice versa. in 2021 I purchased the Red Wings beta version of their Lockheed Constellation and paid on Simmarket (pre app). Now here we are two years later and Red Wings has had a number of updates since my purchase. I wish to download the latest update, and Simmarket now only accepts orders on their app. I have tried this previously, downloaded the app, followed the instructions, but unable to make it work. Just tried it, and again it does not work. The Constellation is also available on the MSFS market, but their seems no way to indicate that I have already paid for the aircraft. Hi. Prior to disabling hyperthreading on my i7 4790k overclocked to 4.6 GHZ(system includes RTX2080ti, and 32gb ram), was experiencing CPU temperatures up to 100 deg C with occasional bsod. After disabling hyperthreading, now experiencing maximum temperatures of only up to 81 deg C and system stability. My settings mainly high and locked on 30fps .

Been noticing this more and more. It looks like the newer tiles are higher res and better colored. In this shot I'm flying near KDLH Duluth MN, USA and as I get lower the newer tiles appear. This is good (sort of) because the old imagery is green and very dated. But bad because it's honestly game breaking imo. Are people still seeing this phenomenon? I have no exterior lights with any aircraft usuing keyboard or mouse in sim or honeycomb yoke light selections . Is this a sim error for now or only just my sim have tried all control options and settings . any one else having this happening

So, after making a flight, I try to load a new one without switching to a different aircraft, and the flight stops loading at around 40% after pressing "fly". If I use a different aircraft each time I create a new flight, I have no issues. This occurs no matter what aircraft I use, default or third party. It would be helpful if the loading bar indicated what was loading at each point so there would be a starting point for trouble shooting but there isn't and I can't seem to find any threads that address a similar loading issue. Ideas?

Does the standard version of MS 2020 have a Baron 58? Is it any good? I am still on X plane but soon will be both..

Saw on FB that Carenado is doing a 182 RG. I would prefer a 210 myself but I think it'll be a fun little plane. I'm sure it will have the usual avions options.

Hello all, Has anyone experienced any ILS landing issues recently predominantly using the Fenix/FBW A320s? Have yet to try the default ac. Everything is set up for landing, intercepting G/S from beneath at the required altitude tracks fine laterally but aircraft just stays at the FAP altitude. Positive i have not missed any steps for the approach phase. Tried Cat I & III landings both APs single AP to no avail only just got back into the sim after a few weeks away it was all working fine prior to this week. Any suggestions guys & gals? Today all my flight plans are going to North Pole. I remember the same issue about one year ago and it was correct from MS/Asobo.

Not alot of chat on here about the new Mini500 chopper. Just thought I'd post up to see if anyone on here purchased it (only 15bucks US) and having a fun time with it. Now that we're all well and truly aboard the hype train to MSFS2024 town (exciting isn't it!?) it dawn's on me that the current Sim will lose attention the further along the tracks we go (see what I did there!?).
