  1. Hi, I am having some trouble figuring out the Fenix a320 throttle controls. I am currently using a PS4 controller to control my aircraft and my throttle bindings are: R2 - to increase throttle and L2- to decrease throttle. Those bindings work in any other aircraft but whatever I do in the Fenix a320 the throttle isn’t increasing or decreasing unless I move it with my mouse. Also some assistance settings like auto rudder are locked in this plane. Do you have any suggestions?

  2. Anyone experiencing issues with cockpit interactions (click spots and dial scrolling/dragging) since the recent update? My sim was fine just after the update, but today it's a mess: often need to click a button 10-odd times to get a response from it. Needless to say the kind of flying where you perform numerous interactions (IFR being a good example) is bordering on impossible (or is impossible, as by the time what you are trying to do is done it's too late). I did also update my Nvidea driver to latest yesterday, but cannot see this will have an effect on click spots. 🤷‍♂️

  3. Started by hughbutcher,

Since the update I find that the TBM930 is unflyable. Throttle does not respond properly - will not go above about 30% power. I load with aircraft on the runway ready to fly (in theory). I have made no adjustments. I have tried other default aircraft with no problems. Do I need to set other controls such as mixture as an example (I don't think there is a mixture control). Anyone else having this issue? (Probably not else it would have featured). Can anyone suggest a manual for the requirements to get the aircraft underway. It worked fine prior to the update. Thanks for any feedback

Well guys, with their usual remarkable efficiency and their absolute consistency, I have a flawed update. Yesterday, I had great vfr VR flights in my two favourite aircraft the DA62x and the Bonanza turbo G36. This morning I loaded MSFS to be greeted with an update which I downloaded and installed. Now my DA62x has disappeared, the DA62 has black MFD and PFD, as has my G36. I then re-installed the DA62x and that too, features black MFD and PFD. I tried the TBM and that is OK. I figured that the problem is the WTG1000 so I deleted that., but the problem does not go away. I am still working on it but why do I have to go through this $$%&*(^$&a…

Anyone noticing Micro-Stutters in the Longitude using the advanced WT G5000 after the AAU2 update? I'm not seeing this with any other aircraft or the sim in general.😕

A technical question, ive noticed that on the Airbus MCDU and the Boeing CDU, the letters E N S W are circled... is there a specific reason for this?

  9. Just started now, going till around 6pm CDT. Schedule of announcements here: https://flightsimexpo.com/schedule .. interesting ones are A2A at 3:30pm CDT and of course MS/Asobo at 5pm CDT. Hopefully A2A gives more details on their upcoming Comanche & AccuSim, and MS/Asobo much needed more details on MSFS 2024 🙂

  11. Hello Gang! In my infinite quest to try and find a more realistic way to taxi the big airliners, I found a control setting called "set nose steering". It appears to be an axis however, the slider does not move when you move the controller such as twisting your joystick. Does anyone know if this works at all in MSFS and/or how I could assign the twist function of my stick to use as a tiller? Thanks

  12. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/ I go to that site - I can see I am logged in because my avatar/image is correct but... I cannot select any item, I cannot scroll, clicking on any item results in northin. I've tried three different mice - the mouse pointer moves but will not select any item. I cannot select my image for profile info. I have no problems accessing the site from my iPhone or iPad. I am a frequent and long time participant at the official MS forums and this problem just began yesterday (I think?) Any suggestions? Anyone else having an issue with enabling the Freestyle filters since the release of AAU2? Was working fine in the beta but now seems to be absent. Alt F3 or Alt Z don't seem to bring up the Freestyle control panel. I've checked to make sure I have the latest Nvidia Experience installed and checked that Experimental features are enabled. Anyone else experiencing this?

I purchased SWS Okavango Delta a while back. Pretty sure it was on the Marketplace for a short time. I'd like to get the update for this but haven't noticed this scenery on the Marketplace for some time. Anyone else know how to get the update? Thank you, Mark

I am posting this here because they conveniently made a list of new features and it's easier to read. Overall good stuff. The only thing i really wanted and is missing is a way to have water masking around the world without it being manually done only for certain areas (es: caribbean) https://www.flightsimulator.com/microsoft-flight-simulator-2024-faq/ Will Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 have improved loading times? One of the biggest priorities for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is to improve the simulator’s data management. One of the major changes to the simulator’s architecture being made is using Cloud streaming to help ensure that the client…

  16. I am both surprised and excited to hear about this update but they are missing the 2 biggest cities which are Houston and Dallas. I would hope for them to include at least Houston since that is where the Flight Sim Expo is taking place. Can anyone confirm if they just forgot to mention those 2 cities?

  17. So Jorg mentioned something interesting at the Flight Sim Expo just a few moments ago. He said Asobo has grown from 100 people to 175 people since MSFS started, and he mentions it's because "flight sim is such a big hit": https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1854043895?t=00h04m44s. Because Jorg is referring to how well flight sim was such a big hit, I assume the photo and the growth of 100 people to 175 people must be referring to the team size for MSFS, and not the number of total employees at Asobo because of course, Asobo has other products and other projects not related to MSFS. I had always expected the MSFS team to shrink over time, because that's typically the pattern…

Finally decided to give the 747-8i a try now that it's been updated with AAU2. The plane flies pretty good but I feel the brakes don't seem to work regardless of sensitivity settings. I have to hold them down to get it to slow down and even then it feels like it's barley grabbing. Anyone else notice this or is this normal for the Asobo 747?

I can't seem to find a conclusive answer to the question whether the //42 Flow tool would allow AP to work in planes that don't have AP at all, eg the caribou? Or does it only provide an alternative GUI for the AP controls for planes with AP functionality already. Thanks.

Sorry if there’s been a post about this already, I just learned about it. This looks pretty neat, actually. I’m not really one for AI ATC, but it highlights the strides made in this tech. I like how it can be used pretty realistically, but also is pretty self aware and can be tongue in cheek. Imagine if they were to link up with vatsim to provide ATC coverage in areas with no ATC coverage.

  23. Hello everyone, Few hours ago, when I initiated a flight in MSFS2020, I noticed that a white dot was appearing in the cockpit when I moved the camera. I searched how to solve this in the internet and I found information but this happens only to Gamepad users. I've only plugged in my PC a Thrustmaster Joystick Airbus Edition and the First Officer Throttle Quadrant (not Gamepads). This never happened to me before and It's ruining my experience, luckly it doesn't affect my instruments or something related to the aircraft. If anyone can help me with this I will be very grateful. Thank you! (The image isn't mine but that's an example of what's my problem).
