He'll adapt to his new position at MSFS to work on whatever they give him. Just because he worked on a WW2 combat game doesn't mean he'll be given combat planes to work on. September 17, 20223 yr I do not have nothing more to say wake me up when we get a good 777. 787 747 or a good A350 I'm out

September 17, 20223 yr Clearly not, because you seem to think hiring him means they're going to work on combat aircraft.

What part of that implies "builds WW2 aerial fighters"? Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
September 17, 20223 yr Андрей Петрович! We knew each other back in days. He used to fly delta planes. Hope he left Mordor before the war flight sim addict, airplane owner, CFI
September 17, 20223 yr https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/80307-see-you-pilots/?do=findComment&comment=1213833 It's really rewarding to read Petrovich words about his enthusiasm with joining ASOBO and the MFS project ( maybe something more in MS's radar ? CFS 4 ? ). He has been a reference in terms of flight dynamics modelling for a desktop PC with his creations for both IL2 and Rise of Flight. The IL-2 fflight dynamics model, as I once had the chance to read about with some ( not many ) details, shares a good deal with XP and MFS approaches to FDM. But, it makes a whole lot of a difference when someone who is really familiar with aerodynamics engineering creates something with soundness and as complete as possible within the limitations of nowadays desktop flight simulation. ASOBO will surely learn from Petrovich how to take their ideas to the next level, so I hope. There's a lot of potential but also a lot of misconceptions and limitations in their FDM that I am sure Petrovich will help fine tune / change / fix / complete... It's interesting to find out about this move from the 1C / 777 team exactly in the day I decided to dedicate, as a simmer, my spare simming time solely to X-Plane 12 and totally left MFS behind, because while I find most of MFS's functionality and features simply amazing and unique I am much more interested in helping X-Plane 12 growing into an even more rewarding and fully featured flight simulation platform and, being a small but also passionate team, LR is always open to suggestions, critics, and Austin willing to make it's flight simulator even better with each new release 🙂 I really can't play more than one sim of the same type - that's painful to admit, but it's a fact 😕 Edited September 17, 20223 yr by jcomm Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
