  1. But if it tells you something wrong, how will you know? You should use multiple sources, not just one.
  2. I had that happen once a couple updates ago, but I just tested all 3 aircraft with the current update and the truck went under the wing fine.
  3. Does it happen with both kinds of fuel services? Truck and ground? Both are working for me with all of them
  4. Which Fenix model?
  5. Open GSX, select customize aircraft and disable the L2 door. That might help.
  6. no issue with that here. My custom settings are intact. I'm on Steam if that matters
  7. Wake turbulence also eats FPS the more aircraft in the air there are, probably because of all the calculations. It's more noticeable in Multiplayer group flights as there's usually a lot more aircraft than with AI.
  8. Something I didn't see mentioned in the patch notes for any of the SU5 updates, they fixed the doors on the 747-8F, and even the the left upper deck cargo door opens now. The doors on the Pax variant still won't open though. Maybe that will be pushed in the final update/release.
  9. I do wonder. I'm not sure if the SDK documentation explains how wakes are calculated.
  10. It isn't, as mentioned above I've tested it myself, I have felt/seen the wake turbulence effect the Cessna 172. How closely behind were you? What was the wind? Because the wind will push the wake away.
  11. I haven't tested it in the SU5 Beta yet, but in SU4 I did try taking off in a Cessna behind a airliner and got thrown around like crazy by the wake. I think it's the same issue as normal turbulence, it seems to effect small aircraft but doesn't appear to effect large aircraft.
  12. Frame rate can effect aircraft performance.
  13. for the 330, I think it depends on what door is closest to the jetway.
  14. Did RJTT-RJFF in the A350 and OKKK-EDDF in the A340, both preformed fine.
  15. Funny I'm the reverse, I find the default Dynamic settings gives me better FPS than AutoFPS
  16. The Gaya’s default LEMD in 2024 (can’t remember if its base edition or a high tier) is not bad, looks better than the LVFR one.
  17. Turbulence is also improving in SU5
  18. It’s hard to explain why, but I prefer SI over BATC. If it wasn’t for the subscription cost, I’d probably replace BATC completely. Voices are better, lateral guidance is better, a lot of customization, I like the phone app so I can track my flight and still talk to ATC if I have to step away. You can force SI to use the runways in your simbrief flight plan, which I use if I’m doing a historical flight that has occurred in the last 24 hours. It will also sometimes offer you waypoint shortcuts. The only thing I find BATC does better most of the time is vectoring. If your approach into the airport brings you parallel to the runway SI likes to turn you away from the airport first before then guiding you towards it, BATC just vectors you into a proper turn towards the airport.
  19. Because it isn’t a problem. It’s one of the things that makes 2024 run better than 2020. They unload the stuff you’re not currently looking at to make the sim run better.
  20. It’s not a server issue, but data quality. And removing trees in towns/cities will probably be impossible without ruining other things.
  21. Make sure you also don’t have dynamic settings turned on.
  22. No. Outsourced aircraft don't always get updated in the Betas.
  23. In their FAQ they state they're using FAIB models without permission because they couldn't get in contact with the creator. Also says they've removed models in the past because the creators have asked them to remove them.
